This is a great option for a room for a few days. I liked that it was quite clean, and, of course, the location is trumps - right next to the Michalska Tower. The kitchen is worth mentioning separately: it is convenient and I liked that you did not skimp on the coffee machine =) It even exceeded some of my expectations!

However, I would mention only a few things that are not catastrophic, but could be improved. Definitely the lack of soundproofing: I was constantly woken up every morning against my will, as every step or word was heard from the corridor. Secondly, the water pressure in the shower cabins – it was sometimes difficult to wash. And the last thing is the entrance: you have to go through a public toilet every time you enter the hostel, so although not romantic, it's not such a big problem.

The location of Hostel ZERO was absolutely perfect and couldn't be better positioned to be in the centre of Bratislava Old Town. Our room had a table and two chairs which we loved and the room was a great size for 2. There were 4 bathrooms to access. The beds were very comfortable and all the sheets, pillows and towels were provided. On arrival we were met by a very friendly member of staff who signed us in, showed us round and gave us our key along with codes for access to the hostel once he had gone. The kitchen was also lovely to have - fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and all the cutlery, plates and saucepans you would need if cooking. We were so glad we chose to stay at Hostel ZERO.

Unfortunately the showers in the bathrooms were little more than a dribble so disappointing. If you like a cold shower it was a bit stronger!

The location (in the old town) was really great and the information about our self check-in were clear and easy to understand. The hostel was clean and we really appreciated 4 toilets/showers since there was some traffic especially in the morning.

The walls were quite thin and you could hear people normally talking. Also at night there was some noise from the street which we heard even with a closed window. The view was not great, we saw the roof of the building across the street.

The hostel is located right in the historical centre, it was clean and comfortable, there's a kitchenette equipped with anything i could need, the room is warm, there were enough bathrooms so i didn't need to wait, wifi is stable. It's perfect price/quality balance.

If you have choice pick a room a bit away from the kitchenette. The doors are thin so I could hear and smell everything. Anyway wasn't a big issue

Great location. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly. Although the bathrooms are shared, there are a lot of them, so you don't have to wait. It feels like a house with many rooms rather than a hostel. I slept well.

It's obviously not the hostel's fault, but just for info to the next guests - as the place is in the old town, it can get loud outside, especially in summer, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Also, the city tax had to be paid in cash, it would be great if it could be paid by card along with the rest of the payment (but maybe it's not possible - I don't know the local law)

very nice staff, although we didn't meet (late check in) but everything was possible over the phone, fridge in the room, coffee included in the price, very nice location right in the center, big room, good price

there are public toilets down the hall, the smell was carried through the stairs and up, fortunately not inside the hostel ;) one of the four toilets was out of order and the other one could not be locked, curtains were missing from the small windows

Had a great view of the tower and other rooftops, centrally located, great value! There are only 2 bathrooms but both were always free when I wanted to use them.

Can hear other people in hallway/other rooms but everyone was quiet after 10 pm! And I like that they put that around and in the rooms! Can hear the bar on the corner though if they’re having a fun night..but tbh they were quiet by midnight so I still got good sleep!

Perfect location in the city centre, but it was a quite place, hostel is located in the 3rd floor. Comfortable rooms and clean bathroom. Furniture and bathroom little bit old, but in perfect condition. The receptionist forgot to put the towel into my room before check-in and manager that time outside of the hostel brought me one at 9:30 p.m., just few minutes after I called him after my late arrival - SUPER APPRECIATED! There is a kitchen available with a fridge, cooker, tea kettle, etc. Also there is a resting area outside of the rooms if you want to you can use sofa in the hall.

You can hear people walking in the hall and kitchen, but nothing you couldnt live with :)

I could not fairly rate the hostel, as we normally do not book hostels. This was the alternative after our original host canceled our booking 10 minutes before check in. Nor booking nor previous host were not properly assisting us in finding the alternative so we had to find something “ad hoc”. The receptionist came back to hostel just to accept us after hearing the situation, stuff was friendlly and rooms were quite clean. Cannot offer other comparisons considering the situation.

The location is the best, right in the middle of old town. The wifi worked well, the staff is welcoming, there is an elevator if you have some luggage. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator.

The showers need improvement, the water pressure was not sufficient. The room is partially a roof, thus the window is kind of small, but still you get some fresh air.
