Silent room

Almost no curtains, we were awake at 7am because of the sun light

Great location, spacious room, kind staff and quiet area to stay in. In walking distance to the old town and many transport options. Although I booked the last room i received one with all specifics requested.

The shower was flooding the entire bathroom and we had to use the feet towel to save the water from going into the room. What I didn’t like is that this same towel didn’t get changed for the 3 nights we had there. Also the shampoo was not replaced after being used, but a day later when the second one was also gone. It doesn’t seem like there was much of a cleaning, just garbage taken away. The chairs in front of the room window are usually occupied since early morning by people having breakfast, which can wake you up if you are a light sleeper. It would be nice if they are left for the room’s renters use only and not by everyone.

We loved the breakfast, dietary requirements considered and warmly catered for, great coffee. We especially loved the staff at breakfast. They were so kind and fun! The rooms were spacious and the little balcony overlooking the garden was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the evening sun. The shower was a good pressure and we particularly liked the ceramic kettle and tea cups! Great spacious wardrobe. We only stayed 2 nights but would happily stay here for longer when we come back to Bratislava! Thank you ☺️

It would be great to have the curtains cover the whole of the front window including the door for better privacy.

The vacation at the Garni Virgo Hotel was absolutely amazing! The room was located near the bus stop where you could easy reach the airport. It was very close to the historic center and you could be there by foot in 5 minutes. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was big. The furnitures were brand new and there were many sockets in the room. The staff was kind and friendly and most importantly, when we arrived they gave us the keys of the rooms and we checked in immediately even though it was early in the morning. All in all it was a really enjoyable experience!

The room had huge windows and the curtains were a bit smaller, so the sun was coming in every morning and as I sleep in a dark room, I was waking up early in the morning.

The location of the hotel was amazing. 10 mins walk to the old town which you can see everything in their. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The airconditioned in the room we book was superb! The staff their was very accomodating to our request- we dont have adaptors on our phones and we let us borrowed from the desk free of charge! which is very nice! Will definitely be back! and will recommend this to our friends!

The reception and the rooms were on different building which a little bit hassle if you have lugagge but it was all ok.

The room was very spacious and the bathroom was large, clean and functional. The shower worked well; the shower doors kept the water in the shower, not allowing it onto the bathroom floor. The hotel has an outdoor patio, which I liked very much. The breakfast, although pricey, included a wide variety of foods. The staff was very nice and offered me all the supplies I asked for. The hotel is well-located, close the Bratislava Castle and Old Town.

Getting fresh air into the room was a problem. The window in the bedroom had a thin, white curtain that couldn't be moved to allow air to circulate. Finding the hotel office up the street was a problem, as I had never been to Bratislava and arrived at night. There is no prominent sign at the street directing guests to the office, which is located deep inside a parking garage. When I attempted to check out, the door to the parking garage had been lowered, making the office impossible to locate. It took me a long time to find it, and I had a large amount of heavy luggage with me. The experience was extremely stressful.

Close to Bratislava Centrum. The room was clean. The bathroom had a huge tub and separate shower. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were allowed to keep our car in the parking garage for an additional couple of hours after we checked out (until the next guests were to check in).

Bratislava is surprisingly expensive compared to other cities in Slovakia. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip to Czech Republic and Slovakia - including Prague! Sadly, it was not the nicest place we stayed. We ended up on the top floor of the building that had no lift. It had a sloping ceiling that even my 5'2" self had to duck under to get into bed. This was also the only hotel where breakfast was not included. We paid €11 each for your basic breakfast buffet.

The room was clean, wide and confortable. Located in a easy street near the center. Good situation. You can go walking anywhere.

The window of the room (101) opens to an interior yard, where the cafeteria tables are(!) The TV set din't work.(1). The recepción were in another building. No air conditioner. Two single narrow beds, 80 cm., not much confortable. No lift. The breakfast,11€, expensive; better go to the caffetterie, very close to the hotel. (1) Or I don't know how a TV works, with a external, channel selecction decoder, without instructions.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in in eastern Europe. Breakfast was plentiful and typical of eastern Europe.

Only one complaint, and it's a real first world issue. They didn't supply breakfast tea bags, they had every flavour you could think of and earl grey. They really need to know that nobody drinks earl grey it's just a fallacy. That's your lot

Great location. Clean and nice rooms.

Ignorant and noisy guests from Netherlands, occupiyng the table in from of the rooms and windows. Smoking and making mess, Sunday at 7:30 a.m. Hotel shall mark more visibly - for dump people - which places not to sit and smoke during the breakfast...eslecialy if it is infront of the windows to other guests rooms. Very disturbing experience.
