The location was fantastic.. close to everything . Beautiful hotel full of history. The breakfast was very good and the posecco was a lovely touch especially at New Year. The staff were welcoming and so helpful. A special thank you to Kristina who helped us with our New Year booking. No need to bring shower gel and shampoo. Those provided were so nice. Tips. Bar 17 opposite the American embassy. The garlic soup was outstanding. The Cuba Bar and the black dog were our favourite bars .

Beautiful location a couple minute walk from the main square of old town. Excellent experience overall. Gorgeous rooms in this old hotel that is exquisitely furnished. Staff was friendly and gave a couple of nice recommendations for restaurants in different parts of the city. The room was clean and well kept, and the breakfast was excellent. Be advised that since this is in an older building, they don’t have central air conditioning. You can request a room fan that will keep the room cool (we needed it since we were there during the heat wave).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Arcadia Boutique Hotel and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service from the staff. The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to assist with any request or inquiry, and their attention to detail was impeccable. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or simply providing extra amenities, their level of service was unparalleled. The hotel itself had a charming and intimate atmosphere, with beautifully designed rooms that exuded both luxury and comfort. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added to the overall ambiance and made me feel like I was in a truly unique and special place considering it was a palace at one stage where the king reigned and with it being over 900 years old it has a lot of history, yet was refurbished to what it is now 15 years ago and has had many a famous sports celeb and dignitaries through their halls. Yes we got a history lesson from the security guard who had been there for over 15 years. A very charming and knowledgeable man. The highlight of my stay, however, was undoubtedly the staff. Each and every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in ensuring that I had the best possible experience. They made me feel like a valued guest and their genuine hospitality was evident in every interaction. Whether it was the front desk staff who greeted me with a warm smile every time I entered the hotel, the housekeeping team who ensured my room was always immaculate, or the restaurant staff who provided exceptional service during my meals, every staff member played a crucial role in making my stay unforgettable. The level of service provided by the staff at this Boutique Hotel truly sets it apart from other establishments.

From the moment you walk in you know you're staying at a fantastic hotel. The entrance lobby has a very grand feeling to it, and this carries on into the rooms. Everything has been catered for, and there's lots of thoughtful additional extras such as spare toiletries on the landing, extra bathmats, decaffeinated coffee etc. The location is perfect - on a side street just off the main square in the old town. A very quick walk to all the cafes and restaurants, but far away enough for it to be peaceful.

The only thing letting this hotel down is the poor quality toilet roll. Everything else is amazing.

Really nice hotel with an unusual but lovely layout and even has it's own art installation in the cellar. Good size room and bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. The night porter, forgot to get his name unfortunately but he was Ghanaian, was a lovely man and we had a few good chats and a laugh with him. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold, really nice. Location was spot on, literally a few yards from the main square. We changed to this hotel at the last minute and so glad we did. Really enjoyed it. There was a festival in the square the weekend we were there so there was loads of entertainment all day, bonus!

Hotel location was perfect with most sights, restaurants and bars literally just minutes away. The hotel itself is a beautifully converted old building but fully accessible. It was also spotlessly clean, had a good buffet breakfast and the staff were all very helpful.

On our last day they needed to do some sealing works on the lovely stained glass skylight in the foyer and unfortunately started to put up scaffolding at 7am... A start at 8 would have been more understandable.

Arcadia Boutique Hotel is a wonderfully spacious and indulgent hotel. Location is outstanding. We had a loft room with double bed upstairs in the loft and single bed downstairs with a bathroom. The bathroom was not near the bed which meant you could shower if someone was still sleeping and not wake them. Breakfast was the best we have ever seen in our lives! we have stayed at many hotels all over the world - and this place delivered so many gourmet options! We got a driver to take us to the train station as we left (too many suitcases) and the driver they arranged was great value and excellent. We plan to visit again in July and have already reserved our room, why would you stay elsewhere?!

A gorgeous hotel, in a quiet corner of the old city, with kind staff and a pleasant feeling. Some of the best bedding (pillows especially) I’ve ever had and a lovely large room.

Personally I would have preferred to have a more comfortable armchair or sofa rather than formal chairs. Having stayed for several days I also think the room I had would work better with the desk on the mezzanine (which had more natural light) and the bed in the same space as the bathroom, but I understand that each room on the top floor is a little different because of the shape of the eaves. The rooms are not sound proof- something to keep in mind if you sleep early or need silence. The spa is priced per 2 adults; a shame for people travelling alone.

A beautiful hotel, our room was basically two floors, as we took a triple occupancy one. Very very spacious room, and looks very historical and beautiful. super central in the old town and very close to all monuments by walking! For a boutique place, this is a highly recommended place. Simple breakfast, like every other boutique hotel, but nice enough. Fairly priced place.

No options to order anything else than what is in the breakfast buffet, not even an omelet or scrambled eggs of anything.

The the location was superb, right in old town without being near noise and restaurants. but a 2 min walk to all the action. The rooms are unique and quite large, I’m a big guy and over 6’5” the showers and toilet area was great, not what I am used to in Europe. the decor and breakfast where outstanding.

if you are expecting American style AC this may not be for you. but at night it was plenty cool. the staff is very accommodating and gave me a fan( I’m kinda of a baby ) and made my sleep excellent
