This is a great hotel right in the heart of Ljubliana. Rooms were cosy, and bathrooms comfortable. The breakfast is excellent value. A basic laundry service is available (just wash and dry) if you are desperate, and really reasonably priced (better than me spending time at a laundromat).

(I'm sorry this bit is longer than the positives - it really is a great hotel, but the following are just hings to bear in mind, rather than criticisms) This hotel is spread across multiple old buildings, so I understand that rooms can vary in size and arrangment. It also means that there is no lift available to the upper floors and oftern there are split levels even at ground. It is just worth mentioning, as steps may be an issue for many. There is no kettle in the room, but one is available in the common area. No water nearby to top up though. It is in a pedestiran only zone, so you will need to walk a short way to/from taxis.

Location is great if you travel light because you are steps from the old city. Decent size room with an extra bed that also had an extra mattress. Very smart, nice and clean :)

Walls are thin so if you happen to have some loud guests in the next room like we did, then you will not have a restful night. Tough luck for us because the neighbors were very noisy and when they were moving in the bed you could hear them in my room :) Pretty annoying. Also if your windows are facing towards the interior yard then you will hear everyone staying up at night smoking or drinking on the bench or coming back from the bars. A little annoying but for one night I can't complain. Parking is a little far if you travel by car and you are not allowed in the city center to drop off the luggage. You have to walk with the luggage from that parking garage which is 8 minutes away. You can park in the closest garage for 1.50 euros and drop off the luggage and then go park the car.

This hotel is situated in the very heart of magnificent Ljubljana, literally around the corner from one of the essential tourist attractions, the Triple bridge on the Ljubljanica river - and for those who care, right next door to a Michelin starred restaurant😉! Vibrant Ljubljana night life is also within easy reach - you can walk to all the great bars and restaurants on both banks of the Ljubljanica river. Hotel staff is multilingual, friendly and efficient.

Hate to mention it, but the shower stall fills up with water, always on the brink of inundating the whole bathroom. Something needs to be done to improve the draining of the pipes. If I am not mistaken, I read a similar comment from another guest, while I was browsing through the user reviews on booking.com.

Convenient location - a quick walk from the bus/train station and all of Ljubljana sights. The staff was extra friendly and always greeted me with a smile or hello when I came and went. I tried breakfast one morning and decided to go to the grocery store around the corner for breakfast the other two mornings. The bedroom was comfortable but the shower was odd that it hung about waist high - you can take the shower head off stand so easy enough to use and great water pressure so it didn’t bother me. There was quite a bit of noise late at night and shouting that I’m sure woke everyone up. Also, I sleep with my window open and one night I had to close it as people were smoking right underneath it and that wasn’t fun.

Property was a little tired and dated.

The location was fantastic, easy to get around downtown Ljubljana. The breakfast was a great deal (5€ for a continental spread). They came and changed our towels even though we had not put them on the floor, which was a pleasant surprise. The extra blankets were incredibly comfortable. The staff were wonderful and helpful.

There was no place for hand towels in the bathroom so it had to lay on the counter. Some of the bathroom tile was cracked and chipped. There was only 1 working heater for 2 rooms. There was no soap in the shower soap dispenser. The TVs did not work despite us attempting to program them, though we did not ask the front desk for help.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Emonec in Ljubljana, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few meters from the famous Three Bridges, making it perfect for exploring the city center. The quality-price ratio is outstanding, offering great value for money. The breakfast was satisfactory, providing a good start to the day. I also appreciated the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room. The parking was not very far and the price for clients was much cheaper than normal price. My overall impression of Hotel Emonec is overwhelmingly positive. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ljubljana, especially if you're looking for a well-priced, centrally located hotel with a clean and comfortable environment.

The location in the heart of Ljubljana's Center is excellent, also the staff is very kind and customer service is great, the rooms are clean and the location within a courtvard has its advantages as it is really quiet at nigt. The only thing which would maybe need a bit of an update is the breakfast buffet (not really much to choose), but due to all the other points, it's a factor one can neglect as it is free to choose and not obligatory for booking.

As written above, the breakfast buffet would need an upgrade, there's not really much to choose. However, it is not necessary for booking and in the streets around the hotel, there are many restaurants.

Location was fantastic right in the area of old town and a minute from the famous pink church. The room was the quietest I've stayed at in all my travels and I had my first great sleep since arriving from Canada days before. So many restaurants in the area and lovely place to walk around. They have a small canteen to buy water or coke from in the reception area. The hotel is approximately 1 km from the train station and an easy walk.

Room was a bit small so there was little area to manoeuvre around the bed. The shower was also small.

There was no refrigerator in the room nor kettle. For the price we paid for 1 night (135 euro) it was unacceptable. Breakfast is a bit poor. The room was in the ground floor which made it noisy when people(from the hotel) passed by. Although the bathroom was goid, the bath itself is covered a bit weird which makes it hard to shower

Great location - just a short walk to the Triple Bridge! The lodging complex is much larger than we expected with multiple buildings surrounding a central courtyard. Great Slovenian breakfast offered for a small fee - I believe it was $5 each.

Just wish the AC was a little stronger/cooler - but it was similar to the majority of locations we stayed. AC in Europe is a little different than the US. Many are set to go no lower than 22 or 23 C.
