Nautilus Guesthouse

The Presidential Suite was the best. The 2 downstairs units need working on as airconditioners didn't work despite Shakes and Levuka getting in the aircon people. Hope they got it right as well as the loo leaking in the first downstairs unit we moved to.

No working airconditioners in extremely hot weather in the 2 downstairs units. My son's bed in the first unit was also not comfortable at all and very lumpy.

Our host was amazing - we were due to book in between 8 and 9pm which is late and he was very amenable, and we kept in touch with him all the way from the airport with excellent directions, and very warm welcome, and a stunning welcome again over breakfast cooked excellently by himself. I would definitely stay there again!

The only thing is the Eastern Cape doesn't seem to like doors to their bathrooms - I see that all over (I come from Cape Town) and I prefer privacy, but even that won't stop us from staying there again as there as sufficient privacy, specially just for one night.

Under the new management and staff, The Nautilus Guesthouse really exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Shakespeare, his wife and staff for their friendly demeanor and welcome. The location is close to the beach and just off the national road. There's a Spar close by as well. The guesthouse is very well maintained and clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Will highly recommend The Nautilus Guesthouse to anyone visiting the area.

The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything necessary. There were 3 beds so we could make a plan for baby. The breakfast was amazing and very good value for money. The host, Nandi, was especially helpful at breakfast and even looked after baby so that mom could eat.

I requested a cot for the baby, but only on arrival heard that it was not available. Would have appreciated communication before arrival.

Nautilus Guest House is an absolute gem! It's a stone's throw away from the beach and has stunning views of the sea. Exceptional facilities, neat and tidy with attention to details. The luxurious beds are so comfortable and the beautiful rooms are very spacious. .The breakfasts are amazing with a huge variety to cater for everyone's tastes. Great care is taken with their guests and we would like to give a huge thanks to Sean and his lovely family for their outstanding hospitality and kindness. We had an incredible time and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

All the appliances was good quality and everything worked well. The breakfast was wonderful. The accomodation was close to the beach which was very convenient.

Everything was all good quality. There was just some utensils missing in the kitchen that could have been helpful such as spatula, scissors, oven mitts, sharp knives.

The room daily rate was fantastic for the modern equipment, lavish furnishings and was like home away from home. Shaun, the host, is a down-to-earth people person who made my stay an absolute pleasure and makes an excellent breakfast.

The only downfall is that their generator had packed up due to the excessive loadshedding over lengthy periods of time, which left the guests without any power during loadshedding.

The Host was very nice he made us feel welcome and it felt like we where at home away from home . He made sure to serve the breakfast himself and that personal touch just makes you feel absolutely welcome and at home Thank you once again for your hospitality

Was a little scared to park our car outside but it turns out to be a very safe neighborhood and he assured us there was a night guard otherwise nothing at all

The room was very spacious and neat, the bathroom too! This was one of my best stays in the Eastern Cape, a definite value for money. We had a 4 night stay and spent Christmas day there. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was very friendly!

I came from the airport from n very long difficult 3 day flight and when I arrived at Nautilus I felt like I was home with the friendly staff. The breakfast was good every morning and they were very helpful at all times. I would recommend them any time.
