Staff were super helpful and friendl - a special shout out to Humphrey and the security - what an amazing bunch. Rooms were always cleaned so promptly every single day. The fact that the establishment had power during loadshedding was absolutely fantastic.

Kettle in room wouldn't switch off and sometimes TV was a little problematic, but nothing to complain about.

Every thing! Besides being clean, quite and very good location. The place ha a very warm and loving vibe, the management aunt Nesrin and her staff were very friendly and extremely nice. I have stayed in 10 different hotels over 2 months in SA, this was the best to end my trip with. If I ever get back to Joburg, I know I have a home there

That I only stayed there for 5 days, and didn’t get the chance to try more of the great meals they were offering on the swimming pool

The property is powered by solar panels so there was no interruption at all by the power cuts in the city (load shedding). The location is tranquil while also being close to the centre of Sandton which is a huge advantage. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable looked great too. Everything was clean.

If the geysers for the hot water were connected to solar power that would be better.

I liked everything about Marion. From the security to the lady at the reception. The manager is doing something that other's ain't doing I guess. The friendliness of the workers is out of this world. The pool is well maintained, always clean. The breakfast, well balanced and very nice. The tranquillity there is top notch.

The owners were friendly, welcoming, and obliging. It's very conveniently located in Sandton City and close to the Gautrain. The room was comfortable and clean. The evening meal was generous and very tasty with relaxing surroundings and there is an attractive pool water feature.

The TV remote control wasn't working (check batteries) and the bathroom light switch didn't operate as well (may need replacing, please check).

Disappointed they have sealed the baths off due to water issue. It would have been nice for a heads up on that on the intro to the room. But that has been done for a reason so understandable, but a heads up would have been nice.

Location was great in Sandton City, felt safe as there is gate and guard. Staff were very welcoming. The room was quite spacious. I didn’t have time to enjoy, but they have a pool and big living room space where you can relax.

My room was directly opposite the reception, I felt a bit awkward at first.

The staff is super friendly, quick to assist. The place is just the right distance from Sandton City and the Gautrain station. Very peaceful neighbourhood, loadshedding backup. I also enjoyed access to Netflix and YouTube music. Marion Lodge really exceeded my expectations.

The fact that I had to take a kittle n look for a plug so that I can boil the water, felt like its a little bit work. The other thing is bcs now it’s winter the blanket that they provided is very light I was very cold.that’s what I didn’t like other than that everything was great.
