The location.. try to book the rooms with the Mountain View’s! Room 8 had stunning views as you walked outside!

No complaints, just a suggestion to have a phone or WhatsApp number to contact for assistance with small things. (Not only for emergency). The distance to walk to reception is short so no issues there unless it’s raining. Room Spray - It is an outdoorsy spot so bugs are common, the rooms are provided with room spray. Suggestion to have them sprayed with the clean up service as I nearly finished the one in my room to sort out the mozzies.

Amazing location with stunning views of the beautiful Winelands. I stayed in room number 8 which was quite private and definitely had the view I expected. So quiet and serene with a complimentary wine tasting which is given on arrival as well.

I left the next morning at 07:30 and breakfast was only served from 08:00. Thought they would offer to serve me a bit earlier, but unfortunately not.

Room very quiet and big, bed is comfy. Very friendly people. Breakfast is great. Nothing to complain about. They have a payed airport service and the same gentleman ( Dion ) can take you on day trips. Wine tasting on the premises. All in all 2 times a 10 from us. We should have stayed longer, we moved to a other town we're we landed in a place right out of a horror movie.

The room was nicely made up, and there was beskuit for the coffee, coffee machine and very clean. Wifi worked very well!! A fire was made in the fireplace the next morning in the breakfast area, which was very cosy!! They prepared breakfast 30 minutes earlier to accommodate me. Definitely recommend.

Everything. The lodge managers were very welcoming and friendly, they treated us very well and went above and beyond to make sure we where comfortable. the room was beautiful and the view was spectacular. the food was tasty and very well prepared for breakfast with plenty of food options. there is also a restaurant on the farm for lunch and supper.

we didn’t stay long enough, we need to bring the kids next time and come for longer.

Location!!! Close to a restaurant and other wineries. Convenient! Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool area; would love to visit in summer.

Would have liked a fireplace! Only plugs close to one side of the bed, but they kindly provided us with a lead.

Fabulous accommodation, immaculately clean, beautifully maintained gardens, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. I can’t recommend strongly enough for a base to explore the wine farms, Stellenbosch and wider area.

The location was superb with stunning views of the mountains and being surrounded by beautiful gardens and vineyards. Breakfast were excellent and of a high quality. Staff were friendly and provided great service. Definitely will stay there again.

It was very difficult for other people to visit as the road to the rooms are not lit during the evenings. Surrounding areas are very very dark

Fantastic lodge. I loved the old stable transitioned rooms. Really nice room ! The restaurant where we had lunch was excellent and the setting next to the dam was great. Location was perfect as we were attending a wedding at cavali wine estate
