If you want to stay centrally and meet new people, this is the perfect place. The hostel is a 10-15 minute walk from Seomyeon or Buam station, from where you can travel in all directions to see the sights. There are also plenty of cafes, bars, shops and karaoke venues in Seomyeon. You definitely won't get bored. Grab the people sitting in the common room and go out together. The atmosphere is great and the common room is cosy enough to hang out in in the morning or evening. There is free water (both cold and hot), tea bags and coffee. Jin is very nice, gives recommendations and is very accommodating with questions and requests. We were able to leave our luggage there after checking out until it was time for our train. We had a room for two with a private bathroom, both were bigger than expected. We could easily fit two large suitcases in and still had space. There are towels and a hair dryer, and soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Big plus: the bedroom has underfloor heating. For the central location of the hostel, the room was also quite quiet. It was definitely suitable for resting.

There is only one wifi for everyone and it is really weak. My phone lost connection every few minutes on bad days and in the end I could work better with a public wifi than the one in the hostel. If you want to plan a trip and search for trains/buses/entertainment it is quite annoying and takes up a lot of time unnecessarily. There was also a bad smell from the drain in the bathroom. The room has a small window facing the common room, but even if we left it open for the day, the smell didn't really reduce. We couldn't leave the ventilation running 24/7 either, so the smell was there all the time and that wasn't very pleasant.

The hostel has a great location, Jin is very kind, friendly and gave me a lot of tips about my trip to Busan. I loved my stay there. The bus stop (Neospot Apt.) is less than 200m away and you can get to and from the airport with bus 1009-1 for just 2100 won, it's very convenient because it's direct.

I only have one complaint about the strong smell of humidity, but I think it's due to some structural problem with the building, as Jin and her husband clean the hostel every day.

Comfortable bed with both lamps and charger sockets in the headboard Decent shower/bathroom with toiletries provided Small table with 2 chairs in the room Decent location in Seomyeon Free, fast WiFi Room had both Aircon and a fan Nice common area, but not the most social hostel. Fast turnaround on paid-for laundry service. Jin, who runs the hostel, is very friendly, speaks excellent English and has loads of good recommendations for both Busan and Korea as a whole. Highly recommend.

The owner was amazing! I made the booking last minute which meant I pestered her at a bad time which was totally mine/booking.com's fault but she was a champ about it and everything worked out in the end. One day when my phone died she made sure to let me know that some of the others I had met earlier had tried to wait for me at the hostel, and then helped make sure I had really good directions to get to the (really good) restaurant she had sent them to. She really took her time to make sure I was all set up, and was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back if I return to Busan in the next couple months :) Bathroom was also amazing!!

The vibes in the lounge weren't great while I was there (just kinda empty), but that happens sometimes in every hostel. I met great people in the room anyways so it all worked out!

The staff was really friendly and helpful! She did everything in her power to make sure that I was happy in the hostel. It was very clean and it was also cleaned every day. The rooms are nice (AC, private bathroom, nice decor, safe, lockers available, etc.) and the common areas are also good (living room with a tv, music, books, maps, coffee, water, umbrellas in case, etc.) I would 100% recommend this place! Plus, the price/quality ratio is insane, nice room very well located for a small price, thx! Also, very foreigner friendly, I met so many nice people there and had a great time!

I think there could be more ventilation in the bathrooms, but other than that it's okay.

1. The lady at reception was friendly, super helpful and spoke very good English (she used to live in the UK so that explains the amazing English!). We had good chats, and i would have to say she is one of the best things about this hostel! 2. A short walk from the metro (around 10 mins depending how fast you walk). 3. 7-11 convenience store right next door. 4. Nice lounge area on the ground floor where you could refill your water, get free tea, use the microwave. There are also charging outlets at each table which i found very handy when i wanted to use my laptop there. 5. luggage storage available if you arrive early or have a late flight 6. Clean and tidy room. Decorated really simply but that's what you get for the price you pay.

1. This is me being picky but i wasn't keen on the bedding. It is just a mattress protector on top of the mattress i.e. there is no bedsheet over the mattress protector, which i am not used to and find strange. The blanket is also very thin. 2. The soundproofing isn't the best as there was one night where i heard the ladies in the room next door laughing/talking really loudly. i guess it depends on your neighbours as i only had the noise issue on one night (it was really quiet the other 2 nights i was there)

Great stay in Busan! Owners were so lovely on check in and check out! Bedrooms aren't the biggest however the beds are very comfy and great air-con and fan in the room. The rooms do lack storage unfortunately however the amazing and stylish bathroom more than makes up for this. Brilliant shower! A really nice social space downstairs and met quite a few travellers down there. Nice quiet location but super walkable to all the hustle and bustle of Busan.

Would be great if they could reading lights and curtains on the bunks. Also the social space downstairs was a little bit messy and cluttered, but feel this could be easily rectified. Also the laundry was a bit expensive. And they have a great rooftop but don't feel their utilising its full potential!

Clean and comfortable room, very spacious and the bathroom was massive. All very clean. I loved the bed, incredibly comfy. The hostel is in a very nice area, next to 2 metros and a fantastic night market. Lots of restaurants and anything you might need to enjoy your stay. The hostel also has the laundry service for 10000 KRW which was perfect for me since I packed very few things. The top for me was the welcome and kindness of Jin, the host. Giving information on where to go and what to do. She really care about the people saying in the hostel. Hopefully I will visit Busan gain and when I do I will stay here again.

This is not a criticism, more a consideration. To reach the hostel one of the way is through a tunnel and a not so busy road. This might be a bit unsettling but the area is actually quiet and safe.

I had a private double room that was clean and comfortable, I never looked into the kitchen but the common area was nice. the host Jin and her colleague are super nice and helpful. I also met great people but I think that’s always depending on who’s there - the hostel has space to socialize so make of that what you will. the Seomyeon area is great for eating (and partying I think), everything is very far in Busan in general, but the lines from seomyeon are direct to a lot of stuff.

the hostel is a bit out of the way (10 mins to subway) and there is one underpass I didn’t like walking through at night - even though it’s Korea so I guess it’s safe.

Close to metro links, etc. and in a central part of town. I didn't spend much time in the area in which the hostel is located, so can't speak to that so much, but the metro to the beaches is very convenient. There's a very nice common room downstairs, too, with very comfy sofas.

It's a little difficult to find if you don't have some kind of smartphone, but everyone has a smartphone apart from me, so it's not their fault.
