Lotte Hotel Busan

The customer service was great, and the staff made an effort to make guests feel welcomed and special. The complimentary luggage service from the hotel to Busan station was very helpful! The hotel was 5 mins walk to Somyeon station, and there’s a direct underground link from the hotel to the station which is so convenient. They also have other conveniences such as an atm and a business centre I was able to utilise. The hotel buffet wasn’t grand but they had a nice variety of foods and all was very good quality. I was especially pleased by the service of Winslet and Ian. Thank you!

The hotel lobby is grand but the overall interior needs a refurbishment. For example, the wall paper in the corridors were bumpy and peeling. The room carpets were slightly worn. One morning whilst enjoying breakfast, there was a lot of noise from building works including an incessant drilling. It was very disruptive and made our breakfast experience less than peaceful. We noticed the couple directly next to us also complained about the noise. Since the breakfast buffet finishes at 10am, I personally think the works could have waited until breakfast was done.

It was close to a lot of public transportation such as the subway and buses. It also had a lot of good restaurants in 5 to 10 minute walking distance and many good shops. There are a lot of convenient stores and pharmacies near by too which is very helpful. The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming, kind, helpful and sociable, and an add on is that the check in and check out was very fast.

There are no hangers in the bathroom and the price for breakfast/dinner was pretty expensive per person/day as it wasn't included in the room reservation, and the fact that you had to pay to use the pool was pretty unusual in my experience.

Location, amenities within the facility were incredible, and the accommodation from the staff and how things were presented and handled on a very professional level was exceptional.

I can't complain much on this, but I do wish that some members within the staff spoke more English. This is not too much fault of the staff, as it is their home language. As a tourist, if English was spoken, it would've been a little easier communicating during my stay. Otherwise, all services and everything was all around incredible!

I'd rate this hotel at 8.5 if I could. The front-desk staff and concierge were very helpful. For example, they found us a taxi at a good fixed price to go on to our next hotel in another town. There was always a staff member waiting in the middle of the lobby and eager to help. Also, the location was very good. There was a massive department store/shopping mall right next door that was actually connected to the hotel on a lower level. Also, the neighborhood of the hotel was vibrant, with lots of shops, cafes, etc. The pool was lovely, and the nearby bar served good (if a bit pricey) drinks. Our room on the 30th floor had a great view, and the bed was comfortable.

The restaurant in the hotel was terrible. The food was not very good and vastly overpriced. Fortunately, there are many good restaurants of all types right in the neighborhood, even in the next-door shopping area--so don't eat at the hotel!

Fabulous hotel showcasing its upmarket style In Busan. Reception team were great and very helpful whenever approached. They also helped us get taxis when needed and provided advise on our queries 🙏. Room was nice with a fabulous view. Busan attractions are not easily accessible by their metro line so hotel is somewhat central to travel to different directions via taxi which helped. There are minimarts and eating places around the hotel. Depending if you like shopping or not, there is the Lotte Shopping Centre attached to the hotel with options of high end to budget shopping and some great eating places. Deserts are to definitely try across a number of different stores.

Having to pay to use the pool is something I have never had to do over my many years of travelling around the world. Not cool. Only high end onsite restaurants at the hotel and would have been great to have a standard option available.

The Club Premier room was spacious and luxurious with a killer view of the city. The bed was super comfy. The dedicated check-in at the Club Lounge was a nice touch. The professionalism of all the staff were exceptional. Fast room service. The hotel was centrally located, served by 2 metro lines, next to Lotte Department Store, and a wide selection of eateries and restaurants around to choose from. My go-to hotel when I’m in Busan again.

Nothing. Everything was simply perfect and up to my standard, and I’m highly fussy.

The hotel is well appointed and well located in Seomyeon, close to markets, restaurants and subway. It’s also attached to a huge department store for shopping and other food options.

It is a huge operation, and so the service didn’t feel personal. The checkin process was quite hectic where everyone is given a ticket and everyone is checked in only at 2PM. The room I stayed in has small signs of aging and the walls are quite thin so I could hear chatter and a baby crying in the room next door. Recommend earplugs. Be mindful that even though the hotel is very centrally located, Busan itself is huge and so distances to attractions in every direction are quite far.

This trip was a meaningful one with precious memories as it was a family trip to our home country. The hotel was in a really good location, making it convenient to use buses or public transportation, and there were many restaurants and convenience facilities nearby. The staff were very friendly and the customer service was excellent. In particular, the concierge service was very convenient to use and they were always kind whenever we made requests. The room service provided daily in each room was also satisfactory.

There was a very strong odor on the 20th floor where we stayed, and along with the smell, there was a strong air freshener scent that made it difficult to breathe whenever we went to that floor. Other than that, there were no other inconveniences.
