We stayed in the Half Ocean Suite Double Room with Partial Sea View. The view of the beach and city was beautiful! The staff was friendly, and check-in and check-out were easy. The room was clean and very spacious. On the 3rd floor, there is a coin-operated laundromat with dryers! :) Felix by STX is conveniently located on Subway Line 2. You can get off at Haeundae Station, go towards Exits 5 & 7, and follow the signs to the hotel property. There are plenty of food options, Olive Young stores for the ladies, and convenience stores near Felix. Additionally, there is a WOW pass kiosk on the opposite side of the Felix property in another hotel. Haeundae Market and the beach are both within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Would stay here again!

Love the wooden furnishing and homely feeling. Thankful that staff gave a free upgrade as the balcory in the studio i booked had a spoilt door that could not lock. The one bedroom was just right in terms of space and how furniture was placed in the kitchen, will book that next time! Kitchen was well equipped for simple cooking. Room has sufficient blackout curtain. Housekeeping lady was considerate and discreet, giving the things i needed when i had the do not disturb sign up. Quiet environment and my lift wait was not as bad as some of the reviews. Overall enjoyed my stay.

It was the 3rd time I went there and as every time I have enjoyed it. The location is just perfect, right next to the Haeundae subway station, right at the corner of the main street with plenty of restaurants and shops, and 5-7min to the beach by walk. The rooms are spacious, clean and with everything you need for a short but also a long stay. It includes even a washing machine. The staff allowed a slightly earlier check-in (were lucky cause there were available rooms) and we opted for a late check-out that you have to pay for of course but it is good option if you travel a bit later in the afternoon but you still want to enjoy a bit more the beach. Otherwise, the front desk enables you to leave your luggages before check-in and after check-out if needed .

Nothing particular except the longue queue for elevators but quite common for a 42th floors building.

The room facilities are exactly like you're staying in a studio apartment as it comes with a washer, dining area, and kitchenette. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, always smiling + welcoming, and would go the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable. 1. We arrived very early in the morning around 1am and our check-in process was swift. 2. We accidentally left our key card in the room and it literally took a minute for the hotel staff to create a new one for us to access our room. 3. We had to print a travel document last minute and the concierge helped us to print with no extra charges and no complains. 4. The housekeeping staff were warm and friendly, and would initiate conversations with us, like recommending places to shop and eat. 5. We also love the blackout curtains. The hotel is also very close to a lot of restaurants and a train station, so it's very cold convenient to move around.

1. The lift system can be improved. A few times the lift would miss our floor and we had to wait more than 10 minutes for one to get to our floor. 2. Overall decor along the hallways can be upgraded as some of the wallpapers were coming off.

Cheaper if pre-purchase - Hotel staff speaks basic English only though they made efforts to communicate with translation app. Front desk assisted with airport transfer taxi booking

- Paid for ocean view but room only has limited pockets of ocean view in between buildings - Slow lift service as commented by other guests though still ok - Room actually looks much dated from photos but are kept clean

Great suite with plenty of space at a good price. I could almost live there!

Info from staff was lacking - each different question was met with the same copy and pasted answer that didn't really address the question. It was only by reading reviews and making a few guesses that we could work out how to check in properly (if driving, just drive into the car park - entrance on the pedestrianised street and yes it does appear OK to drive there - and park anywhere; then take the lift to floor 6 where reception is (not floor 1, marked as 'concierge'; staff will register the registration number and then you can drive in and out freely during your stay).

If you worry about booking Haeundae off season don't. It's a great neighboorhood to be in. I was there early april. Hotel is right off the subway , close to express bus station and common pick up point for many tours. Room was very clean and fully equipped. Service was excellent, I'd totally recommend this place.

It's a busy building and not all floors belong to the hotel, hotel reception is on the 6th floor which can bother some people. Except from the fact that there can be a queue for the elevator it wasn't a big deal to me.

We had a little suite with bedroom, balcony, laundry, living and kitchenette. It was great to be able to do some washing. Bedroom a smallish twin with 2 single beds.might be mire roomy if it was a double. This accomodation was centrally located on Haeundae Beach and close to all the action. Beach, food ally, pedestrian zone, restaurants, shops, it was a great location.

Its actually a bit hidden. If you don’t know what you are looking for you could easily miss it. Reception is on L 6 and check in time is the only time you will see them. The lifts take forever and are generally very crowded.

It is located right outside exit 7 of haeundae station and just around the corner is the main area of haeundae. The location was very convenient for us and I liked the other facilities it had within the building like the gym and laundromat which we ended up using. We could dry our clothes in the room because they had a clothes rack. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and clean and the shower was comfortable to use since the shower had glass to seal it off. We would stay again.

There weren't any usual toiletries I would've expected like a toothbrush, face pads, cotton tip buds. Also it took forever for us to get on the lift when we checked out at 10am. We stayed on level 10 but the lift kept skipping us.

This is the second time that I’ve chosen to stay at Felix. It’s a great, affordable hotel for the location, a short walk away from Haeundae beach, surrounded by a number of restaurants and not to mention its extreme proximity to Haeundae metro station. I stayed in the half ocean suite double room which provided a comfortable amount of space for a couple, especially if you are planning to stay for more than a few days. This was a big plus for my partner and I as we spent some of our time working during our stay - one of us used the bedroom desk, the other used the living room table. The in-room kitchen + washing machine facilities, the size of the room (not a studio), parking, location and the overall price really gives Felix an edge over other accommodation options in the area which are limited, pricier and smaller by comparison. The staff were polite and courteous during this recent stay and during my previous stay here.

Below are things that could be improved but for the record, it didn’t really affect my stay negatively and I’d still recommend staying at Felix :) - there are a limited number of lifts. If your stay is on the upper levels of the hotel, beware that it may take much longer to enter or exit the hotel when it gets busy during particular times of the day - the hotel buffet breakfast selection is okay but ordinary. There were Korean and non-Korean options. Only espresso and americano were available as options on the coffee machine. - the room wifi was patchy as you move about in the room, but you can get around this by connecting to an alternative wifi network in nearby rooms (the password format is the same).
