Perfect location. Very clean. Felt very safe as a solo traveler. All restaurants, cafes and transportation within walking distance. Lots of convenience stores and shops. Property manager helps to meet any requests and accommodations you may need. There are two locations. One for long stays and one for short stays. For longer stays do not expect housekeeping to clean your room. However, there are toiletries and supplies that are left out in the hallway to replenish for your room. And towels can be obtain in the main office building where the hostel property is located. Which around the corner. Hunter is always willing to direct you to where you can empty trash or pick up any necessities. Also, there is free filtered water available disposal. I actually even extended my stay while I was here.

Communication a little challenging at first because of language. However, once I gain a rapport with Hunter the property manager, we were able have a more clear understanding. Nothing that would prevent me from booking again.

The flat was clean and it has a lot of space. The location is amazing. Very safe and so convenient. 5 min walk to the metro station. 10 min to Hongdea and 1 min to a 24h convenient store. Highly recommended. I will come back for sure. Very conveniente price wise.

I liked how convenient the location was: less than 10min from a tube station (Hongdik Univ.), plenty of shops and restaurants around. The room was very spacious with a nice kitchen area. Own bathroom

Due to the bathroom being a wet room, there was some mould. If I'm being very picky, I'll mention no lift in the building (but a few flights of stairs never hurt 😉)

I had a wonderful stay here! It felt like I was just a local. Location was near Hongdae, just a 10min. walk from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3. The room was clean and spacious. Manager Kim is kind and accommodating. Would definitely book here when I travel to Seoul again.

There are no elevators so it's quite hard to carry your luggages; they do assist you and carry them for you during check-in, though. There was also no adapter available the night I checked-in. However, Manager Kim ordered one and said it'd arrive the next day. But since I needed it immediately, I had to look for one on my own at the convenience stores. Aside from those, everything is great!

The location is the best you can find in Seoul. It was very comfortable to wander around city (the subway station is in 8-9 minutes from the place) and it was very easy to get to the airport from here. Also a great location for shopping — a lot of brand-shops around + if you like vintage clothes, there are so many of them in this area. The room itself was more spacious than we expected! Air conditioner worked perfectly and the staff kindly turned it on before we checked in. Washing machine worked well. Also we really liked that the room had a lot of storage space — we had two big suitcases and managed to hide them in the closet easily.

We had a minor problem with the way hot water is turned on — but the staff helped us within 5 minutes. So it's not even a problem.

The price for the location was good. I booked a private room, the room was clean and comfortable and there was both a microwave and fridge in the room. No problems with water temperature or pressure in the private bathroom as well. Good fast free WiFi included. I did not use the shared kitchen, but it was available on the main floor. Staff were quite responsive on booking.com messages.

Although the location was good, it was still a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station. The pathways can be a bit difficult to navigate if you have multiple heavy bags with you. Stairs can be inconvenient for someone with limited mobility.

I really like the location here in Hongdae. You are surrounded with the vibrant, urban, young and cute city life. Many shops and stores close by! It is very convenient because the subway station is a 4min walk from here. The price is so good for what I got. The room is perfect and it has everything you need in it. The laundry service is free and the host is also very nice. Very well organized.

The room is not soundproof, so you hear the other other people talking in their rooms. The staircase sounds are also loud.

I like that they provide free laundry but I wouldnt mind to pay if they can do laundry service instead of me going to coin laundry as they only offer two times laundry. Maybe if BB Hongdae can charge fee for laundry, I can pay for my peace of mind. Other facilities are well maintained and the staffs are so helpful too and answer to all inquiries patiently. The location was nice too not too noisy at night but it's 10 min walk from exit 3 hongik university station, it will be hassle if you have more than one luggage. If you have more luggages I suggest that you book airport transfer. But if you only have one luggages then its manageable to walk from station to BB Hongdae. I booked a private room with private toilet and private small kitchen so it was so comfortable. Also, the accomodation is near to GS25 convenience store and its very convenient. Thank you for a great stay, will surely book this place again next time and recommend it to friends.

It's not that I dont like it, but I wish host can put iron at common space instead of in the staff office. Everytime I want to use it I need to contact staff and get it from staff. If staff already went home I cant ask for iron and iron board anymore, and if I want to use it early morning they wont be around so it was a hassle for us.

The staffs were promptly available ( through whatsapp ) the whole time. Had some issues with toilet flush during stay, but was fixed immediately. Location was superb, loads of restos/coffee shops within short walking distance as well as the subway station was only stone's throw away... And the absolutely comfy bed is definitely worth the mention!

My room was located on brand new annex building, but on 5th floor with no lift. The lovely staff carried my heavy bags all the way up on arrival, but found my self breathless climbing the stairs everytime, though one might think it would have been a good workout opportunity...

Kim was so nice. We got to stay on the fifth floor and he carried two 15-kg luggages by stairs for us. The room is pretty much similar to the photo with a little bit older but clean. There're no kitchen facilities in our room except a microwave and a kettle, however, we can use all kitchenware on the first floor. One-time laundry service is available. Plus, Kim's also willing to drop a postcard for us! I recommend this accommodation if you are looking for an affordable one.

We did ask him to refill soap but maybe he forgot. And it would be nice if Kim could update the photo and details for each room.
