Seoul Mansion Guesthouse is very strategically located with direct access to shopping, dining and to subway station within a few steps away. The guesthouse is very cosy, clean and comfortable with hot water, drinking water, washing machine and weighing scale being provided to all guests. The host/owner Emily is very friendly, responsive and super helpful. She even helped us book our transportation to Incheon International Airport on our way back. On one of the days, I came back to my room after 10pm plus and found the room aircond dripping water and spewing out ice afrer I turned them on. I quickly contacted Emily and she advised that I pull the plug off first. The host then quickly brought over a strong power fan and also worked on fixing the aircond until 12.45am but to no avail. He apologizes profusely and ensured he buy a new aircond and have them installed the very next day. This is truly a very remarkable experience indeed! Seoul Mansion Guesthouse will certainly be my choice of accommodation when I visit Korea again! ❤️

I liked that the location was very convenient, and that the host provided a lot of facilities for free such as hair straightener, unlimited towels, more blankets, microwave, water dispenser, also provided us a space to put our luggage! very kind of them

I am not sure how to turn on the ventilator in the bathroom if there is one? so sometimes it can be hard for the water to dry. But my booking.com was having problems so I couldn’t reply to the host to check, although the host was really informative too!

The Guesthouse is Located near Hongik Univ. Station exit 3. Offers self checkin and check out. Has luggage storage after your check out. . The room was spacious and clean. It has good lighting and a 3 plug pin near the bed, so you could charge your mobile and browse while your on the bed. It's a plus for me that they have hair iron and blower as I really forgot to bring my own hair iron for this trip.

The bathroom has a decent size and really clean. However, while taking a bath it takes time to drain the water. Since this is a small issue and we don't want someone will come in our room during our stay, we keep it as it is.

It is a fantastic, well equipped guest house. The management really thought well in providing a lot of necessities even extra that other hotels do not even provide. The location is also very good, very near to Hongik University subway station and very close to Hongdae which was perfect for us. There are a lot of restaurants,cafes and shops around. We will certainly recommend it.

People doing their laundry so late at night. It's okay to do the washing but using the dryer at 2h30am. It was noisy that we could not really sleep.

What a fabulous location! In the middle of a vibrant, energetic area and across the road from a train stop. However, the room was always quiet, despite everything happening a street away. The room was small but comfortable. The only downside was that the shower was crammed next to the toilet and it was impossible not to get the whole bathroom wet when having a shower. But it dried very quickly. I actually liked it. I found it rather authentic, but it’s certainly not for everyone.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise, no complaints. We didn’t see any staff while we were there. We had pre-paid, so we just picked up our key from a mailbox and then dropped it off then we left.

Good location, very close to the train station, which was good for catching first train to the airport. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Drinking water dispenser, free umbrellas to borrow, quick communication.

Cleanliness has quite some room for improvement. Despite traveling alone, I had 3 big towels in my room, but all of them had stains on them. The room and bathroom had some mold on the walls, and there was quite a lot of dust on some shelves. The bed was slightly too short for me. Overall fine for short stay, but I think it wasn't good value for money and on a couple previous days I had more comfortable stays for similar price.

The location of the property is excellent. Good value for money. The property is located in Yeonnam, a hip neighbourhood with a lot of nice cafes, speakeasies, restaurants, and boutiques. I it’s also next to the forest line park and Hongdae clubbing area. It’s only a few minutes by foot from Hongik University subway and train station, with direct links with Incheon airport and other parts of Seoul. The property is easy to find, self check in and check out was smooth. The room and bathroom were clean and functional.

Nothing, everything was good. As indicated in the accommodation description, the bedroom and bathroom are quite small.

It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The best thing was the location and how close it is to everything (but it is not noisy at all)

Not that I didn’t like it but we had an inconvenience with the mattress but we talked to the owner and she solved it right away, she was able to get us new mattresses the very next day (thank you very much for caring for your guests!)

The location is super convenience, near subway station, Hongdae shopping center, many cafe and restaurant. The facility provide every equipment needed, towel (you can pick up yourself), vacuum machine, water dispenser, Hair dryer, Hair straightener, Table, chairs, Sink, plate, etc. The staff is very responsive.

The room of 4 is too small for 4. No space for large luggage. No elevator so we have to carry the luggage to the third floor ourselves.

Location-wise is perfect. It's close to the subway and Hongdae street which you can find everything you want, clothing, food, cafe, boardgame cafe, secondhand shops, brandname shops, streetfood, etc. The room is small but it has everything you need - the kitchen has all neccessary utensils, room has enough space for 2 large luggages, universal socket and USB + extra cables next to the bed, working table, etc. I loved their pillow so much! It's the secret for the sound sleep! Facilities outside the room is just sustainable that you could stay for months. There are water dispensers on all floors, slippers, hot water, washing machine, clothes dryer, rooftop, weighing machine for the luiggage etc.

I would give it 10 scores if it has an elevator but I know it's not plausible from the space. I was staying on the third floor with 10kg luggage. There's a stair at the front door and also small stairways in the building which makes it difficult to drag it up. Apart from that, all is good.
