Y's house

We had our own hairdryer, drying rack, washing machine and clothes iron which was very convenient for a long stay. Our host was very friendly and always quick to help us out every time we needed help. We communicated via chat which made that a lot easier! He listened and made all of our requests, helped with our luggage, and we really appreciated that, He also gave us as a welcoming gift lots of water bottles. Would come again!

The room could have been more clean, however it was our choice to clean it better by ourselves and not ask the host to do it. We are sure that he would clean it better if we told him about it. By "more clean" we mean that there was some dirt left on the sinks and dust/dirt under our beds so it was only a matter of deep cleaning.

Everything is great. I've stayed here a few times before and this place is always in my top choices for Hongdae. It's located about 5-min walk from Hongik U. Station Exit 3, in a quiet neighborhood and in walking distance to everything. The room is equipped with a TV, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, kettle, towels, shampoo/soap, etc. Beds and pillows are comfy. The owner is kind and speaks English well, also easy and fast communication via booking message. There is a laundry room too if you need to clean your clothes.

It's not a big deal but this time I stayed here during winter and it was so cold. The bathroom's hot water took a bit of time to start working (but when it worked, it's steaming!)

Excellent location, train can go everywhere from here and easy to access, we took the train to airport when left Seoul, quick and save money. The surroundings are very convient with shops, cafe, resterants and pick-up point for day tour. The facilities are wonderful, we have everything we need as a family with both elder and young adults.

The only thing can be complained is the bad smell from toilet at night time. We had to open the windows.. But the smell coming from sewer seems the problem for Seoul city even when we walked on the street, hope this can be improved.

The staff were super nice! I used the washing machine and when I wanted to use the drying machine, since it was being used by the other, I put my washed clothes on top of the drying machine, unaware that there was actually another drying machine nearby. So, I waited in my room, and when I came back to the laundry room, the staff already put my clothes in that other drying machine and told me kindly about it. 😊 I booked the 3 person room, and the room is quite big, 1 bunk bed and 1 sofa bed. There is a washbasin and a shower room inside. The toilet is right in front of the room door. They have coffee and the other drink I guess, but we didn't have a chance to try it since we were in a hurry the next morning. Overall, I love my stay and will probably go back there! And as a bonus, I got a White Christmas when I stayed here! 💕

The shower room is very small and there is no place to hang your clothes inside. I can't just walk out naked in front of my friends 😅.

We booked a private family room and it has everything you need, hot water maker/refrigerator/hair dryer/sufficient towels in the room. A welcome bottle water for each person and you can also buy drinks and water at lobby. Free coffee at lobby and 500 won if you use the wash machine, so convenient for travelers. Although there’s no elevator in this hostel but when we checked in, the owner was there and helped with putting the luggages to our room, very thoughtful and sweet.

A little bit walk from Hongdae university train station with big luggage, it’s about 5 minutes walk to the house from station if not with luggage, but with luggage you kind of struggle on the road to the house. Other then that, everything is perfect.

The location was convenient but hard to find as we arrive at night. A bit of a walk from the Hongik Station but nevertheless location is good. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Train station is easy to find and goes to most places. What impress me the most it that the rooms are very clean, quiet at night and mattress and pillows are quite comfortable. Hot showers, microwave and kettle available. The owner or manager was very welcoming and allowed us to leave our luggage to explore the city more before our flight home

You can find the place easily and not that far from the train station. A lot of shops around the area and convenient store. MUJI and DAISO just across the train station. Jack who manage the place was helpful. Free water, coffee and tea. Free to use the washing machine and dryer. Detergent/softener is avaiable for a reasonable price. I like that the shower and toilet are two seperate cubicle. A drying rack was also provided inside the room.

No elevator but managable.

Basically everything. The location might be a bit of a walk for some people but I think it's not that far from Hongik Station Exit 3 and it's quiet at night. I stayed here before so I know the room was nice with facilities (TV, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, etc.) provided. I really like that the shower is separated from the toilet, very convenient when staying with friends.

Maybe there should be a tray or place for placing personal toiletries in the shower. The common area on ground floor is a bit small but not really an issue.

Staff are super helpful, they helped us bring our luggage to the first floor. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Washroom and toilet are clean with complete amenities Location-around 5 minutes walk from exit 3 Hongik univ. station Refrigerator, mini kitchen, are ok. Communication with the owner was smooth via booking.vom and kakao talk. Value for money Super recommended I'll definitely think about it when coming again in Korea...

We should pay for using washing machine No space for drying the clothes

Very easy access with Passcode given. We are family of 5 with 2 elderly, 2 adults and 1 kid. We like the atmosphere and surrounding there. Not too crowded and hectic area. Simple and relaxing while all the things we need easily accessible. Room is small but comfortable. We are happy with it. There are shared kitchen where we can use to prepare simple meals. Washing machine and dryer available which is a plus point.
