This is a great hotel, we stayed here from 11/4/2023-11/17/2023, located in myeongdong (exit 10). Keep in mind it’s all stairs for that exit when bringing your luggage from the subway. Great view of Namsan Tower, even more lovely when lit up at night. Staff were excellent and friendly, they spoke in English and many other languages. 711 and emart are close by the hotel if needed. Location was perfect since walking to see everything myeongdong has to offer is all close by. Many subway entrance/exits are nearby so it is easy to get by. There is a bus stop nearby which is a 10-15 min walk which is convenient as well! If you are wondering, there is an airport bus shuttle that can take you to Incheon terminal which was perfect. They accept cash & tmoney and is located walking past exit 10 until you see a airport bus shuttle sign with a worker there (the hotel will have the timetable of the bus schedule)This is a great hotel if you wanna stay in myeongdong. I highly recommend it!

There are protest signs out the hotel and protesters at night, but they don’t bother you. The AC is controlled by the hotel so we were not able to control the room temp even if we changed the settings sadly.

bed too soft and it hard to sleep well. facilities is aged if you carry big luggage do not use exit 8, 9, 10, pls use exit 1 lift then cross the road or use exit 7 escalator.

The location in Myeongdong which was walking distance to the subway and bus station was perfect. Myeongdong shops were just at the back of the hotel. The Quad room with a partition was also ideal for a group of friends, providing privacy and space. The room was kept clean and smelling nice and the toiletries were also good to use.

There was some sort of employee layoff protest at the side of the building which was sad.

It's located on the prime Myungdong which is a center of Seoul. You can easily go any place in Seoul quickly. I stayed in a room with quadruple bed which is hard to find, and it is enough for our family of four.

It looks like there was a recent layoff of hotel employees and a labor strike in front of the hotel gate. It was inconvenient.

The location is perfect. Near the market places, stores, the hanock villages, Namsan, the stream, the Palaces and temples. Metro exit in front, bus stops nearby. The metro exit doesn't have escalators/elevators and it had a lot of stairs so think of this in case you have large suitcases. My room view (Namsan) was amazing. Room is big. I was expecting problems with room temperature based on some comments here but I didn't have any. It was perfect. Oh and we even had a Japanese type toilet, wonderful. If you're staying long term, know that they only clean once a week (for free) and had to be scheduled as soon as you check in...which is ok with me but might be important detail for others. The cleaning lady was very pleasant and friendly! The staff were courteous and really try hard despite the language challenge. You can also use the microwave and water dispenser on the 15th floor. Other facilities were closed but understandably (health restrictions) so it's not the hotel's fault.

Their payment terminal didn't accept my visa cards (I have been using them fine for other merchants so it's just them, for whatever reason). Had to pay cash, which is a lot because we're staying a week and a half (didn't carry that much wons with me). They take foreign money, I had Euros but they'd only accept USD, haha. Had to go out and find a bank but at least they let me leave my suitcases at the hotel while I did this and they offered me a fresh bottle of water which was nice after the long trip and carrying the suitcases up the metro stairs (see related comment).

Convenient location near myeongdong train strain and night market. Easy access to places and many shuttle bus pick up location. Quad room has a little living area with sofa and two TVs in the rooms. Daily room service with bottled water and fresh towels. Walking distance to namsam cable car station.

Staff level and morale felt low, there were ex- staff quietly protesting with banners in front of the hotel. Hotel felt alittle worn out and dated, though I could imagine when it was first built it must be rather lavish.

Very convenient location, subway Myeongdong station is right in front of the hotel. Busy Myeongdong street is very close.

When my room key didn’t work, I asked housekeeper to help me. She came with me and unlock the door without checking my ID, or my name I thought this was quite scary. She should have checked my ID and confirmed if I am staying in that room. I was concerned about their security.

Beautiful central location with a great view of Seoul Charming, very comfortable and clean, well equipped suite Friendly and helpful staff

- Nothing major - Visited just after Covid restrictions were lifted from 1 Oct and some of their restaurant facilities were not functional yet. It wasn’t a problem really as there were many lovely eateries close by. - Open WiFi facility worked perfectly when in lobby area but at times dropped signal in our room.

Convenient location next to exit 10 of myeongdong subway station. Gym and shower facilities with gym wear and shoes provided. Daily cleaning of room and daily provisions of toiletries such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner

Sauna was not working. Descending Escalator not working. Have to climb down stairs albeit short one. But a bit troublesome to move luggages down the steps. Toilet flush not as strong. Sometimes unable to flush thoroughly

Location is good and it has good room for 3-4pax. It’s hard to find room that can accommodate 3-4. As we need it to stay with kids.
