Location location location! If you are looking for a place to stay at Myeongdong area, you can't go wrong with Savoy Hotel. Hidden but very strategic. The station is less than 100m away and there's convenient store just outside. Amenities are basic but does justice to my short stay. The mirror in our bathroom suddenly fall off (probably due to the extreme low temperature outside) but the staff at the hotel was helpful and quick to clean it. Thank you , kamsahabnida.

My only set back was they aren't efficient in responding to messages in the booking.com platform. I had to wait for weeks then months, and only getting responses few days before my check-in date.

It was really close to the Myeongdong metro station and hence easy access to/fro airport, meeting points to day tours etc. Having the convenience store downstairs and cafe within its compound is great. Not to mention that the shopping streets are at the door step as well. Amazing the hotel room was really quiet (except for the occasional noise made by guests when they exit their rooms). Also love the mini clothes cabinet!

I stayed for a total of 7 nights with a gap of 4 nights between, and stayed in two different rooms. The facilities are similar but first room (ironically cheaper per night) was better set up in a way with the controls and plugs more accessible (and a better working hair dryer!).

Just in the heart of Myeondong. Easy access to all things. The subway is literally round the corner, restaurants and beauty products are plenty. Easy to walk around. Hotel staffs are all very helpful and friendly. Being able to communicate in English is a bonus. I will definitely come back to stay here again.

Checked in at 15:30...our flight arrived in the morning...long wait...but hotel able to store our bags until check in

* The location was superb. A minute of walk going to the nearest metro (myeongdong station exit 6) and the hotel is near everything. There is a convenience store right in front. Very easy to find as well. * They gave me free upgrade and I had a very spacious room for myself. * The room was clean when I checked in. Amenities, even slippers were provided. The pillows were soft and bed was comfy. *The staff was amazing, very polite, and accommodating. The gentleman in front desk even assisted me to book a taxi going to the airport. *Housekeeping was available everyday, tho I opted not to have my room accessed without me. Light was a bit dim but tolerable. *I had to extend my stay and it was very easy to settle.

I wish they have an option for breakfast. But I understand that convenience store was just next to the hotel. Also, bathroom had a weird smell of like wood in the beginning. Tho eventually it faded.

The place was within the shopping and street food part of Myeongdong so you can always find something nice to do. The staff were helpful especially with directions and recommendation. The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet had an electronic bidet.

The bathroom was small thus the bathtub was close to the toilet and the shower was inside the bathtub. I had a problem with my key card thus I had to come to the front desk twice due to the problem.

The location of the hotel is literally prime position, bang in the middle of Myeongdong street market, and surrounded by all kinds of shops!!

The hotel staff literally called me multiple times just as I landed in Seoul, to inform me that since they were not able to charge my card, they will cancel my booking. This is the first time I have ever encountered such kind of extreme behaviors, when booked through booking.com.

Definitely value for money.

The only thing I didnt like was that their payment process stated in Booking.com wasn’t aligned with the actual. Based on Booking.com Savoy policy, there should be prepayment by September 16 equivalent to one night stay. This didnt happen and instead I got surprised that they charged the full amount a day before our arrival.

- location was right in Myeongdong, would recommend for those coming to South Korea for the first time. - room was quite big (3 pax) we could open our bags freely - staffs was super friendly and considerate (mum's leg was inconvenient)

The location is great being in the heart of Myeong-dong and having a convinent shop and restaurant underneath.

I would keep hitting my head on the door frame to the bathroom even though I'm average height. I couldn't get the heater to work.
