I'm always a fan of the Big O Show Guesthouse because I've stayed there before and it's a walk away from the train station and is right where you need to be in Yeosu. There's a big common area and porch that you can use in the mornings as well (and it was very quiet when I was there). I think they also upgraded me to a better room which I appreciated.

The only thing I remember from my first stay at the Big O Show was that they used to give their guests some eggs and bread in the morning (which you could cook for breakfast). They didn't have that this time, so I missed that, but still enjoyed my quiet breakfasts and coffee in the cafe area.

Nice location with really kind staff. I didn't know much Korean Language but the staff was very friendly and seemed to have a lot of love for their job. Most of the other guests were families so it felt like a warm place. The bedroom was so spacious that I was surprised they didn't put another bed on it. The breakfast was lively with everyone gathering on the big table. I stayed alone but it didn't felt lonely because of that. You can eat by the terrace if you want a calmer experience seeing the sea and the city starting to move. There is a night 3D show of light and fireworks that is one of the main attractions of the town and you can watch it from the terrace, with a nice view of the sunrise too. You can easily walk from the station. The neighborhood is quite calm and have many cats.

You have to make a phone call at the front desk for the staff to come to help on the check in, since I didn't have a Korean number I had to make an international call. Would be nice to have a telephone on the outside of the front desk window for that.

Indeed a nice view! At least from my room on the 5th floor I was able to see a port and mountains on the seaside. If you get up early, you maybe can sea a sunrise. 6th floor is a kitchen (breakfast was there) with a spacious terrasse. You can indeed observe the Big O Show (photo attached ) instead of paying 20000 won at the port. The owner turned on the record on his smartphone to hear also the music. He was also very polite. The Big O Show us an art installation, a giant projection on the water falling inside a big wheel as well as a laser and a fire show. Ask the personal about timetable of the show.

I got the whole dorm room for my self. It's so spacious & comfortable. Room & toilet are sparkling clean. Shampoo, soap & toothpaste are available. Mattress is thin but not a problem for me. Breakfast has a wide of range: 2 types of cereal, bread, milk, orange juice, coffee, egg, instant noddles. Big O show can be seen from the roof top. When I arrived, I only contacted the owner through email.

Very good facility. The staff was very good. He is very helpful. The guest house roof top is very nice. There is a kitchen and dining and sitting area. You can cook anything you want. Breakfast is free. From the roof top you can see sea view. Home like environment.

Only one thing, It is required one mat outside the bathroom. Otherwise, the room will be dirty because of wet foot.

Big rooms, comfy bed, large, clean bathroom. The top floor is for breakfast and a hang out spot with great views. Also, if the “Big O Show” is playing, you have a great, FREE, view! The guys who run the place are very nice. Located in cool neighborhood very close to the EXPO train station in Yeosu.

neither far from yeosu expo train station nor downtown. i was surprised that even breakfast was included! the view from rooftop is great. clean and comfortable dorm rooms with bathroom inside. staff was very friendly and helped me to store my luggage until my departure in the evening.

Room was very clean and comfy, kitchen is big and with a lot of equipment, basically everything we needed. Parking was convenient also.

We didn't see anyone at the reception nor at the hostel during our whole trip, but that wasn't a major issue.

It was clean. The owner is friendly. The view from the rooftop is pretty amazing, and there are tables that you can enjoy.

I think it would be nice to have some curtains in the dorm beds like many other guesthouses nowadays.

The host was very nice and tried his best to help us.

I don't mind bunkbeds at all but they were not very comfortable at all and actually quite hard. The blankets provided where also quite thin.
