The interior rooms were far bigger than I expected with huge shower, also had a fridge which it didn't say on room description so very happy that I was able to keep our drinks cool. Location was absolutely brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed being by the roof top bar in the evenings enjoying a drink. Nice plunge pool which was ideal just to cool off. Air con worked really well which was certainly needed.

Nothing it really was superb. The only way you could improve is by providing tea & coffee facilities. We were aware before the stay so brought our own.

What a wonderful little boutique hotel! Great rooms, top central location, wonderful rooftop pool overlooking the cathedral, very good value breakfast, comfortable rooms, friendly staff (especially ladies at breakfast, Carmen on reception and rooftop barman who opened the bar up for us), very reasonable price for the stay as well as food/drink, couldn't fault it, we loved it

Just a note to be careful as the tiles next to the pool are fatally slippery and if you want to sleep past 8am take earplugs as the cathedral bells go every 15 mins. Could be tricky to park nearby (we parked for free by the park near the marina)

wonderful location, great view from our room which was a superior double overlooking the cathedral square and had a Juliet balcony. Room was spacious and well appointed. Rooftop bar was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Almeria

The Hotel Location was very good, right next to the Cathedral Square. Convenient location for the local historical sites. Overall property well kept and smart. Comfortable rooms and beds. Staff friendly and helpful. We were travelling around Andalucia in a car and the hotel have private parking facilities nearby. Helpful staff to show us where to park. Would be good to see it during summer time.

As we were travelling in February we didn't get to sample the delights of the roof terrace bar!. Didn't find the downstairs bar very comfortable and relaxing. Staff a bit stressed as not enough staff on to cope with some local private events that were happening. There was a festival on whilst we were there (that was the good bit) but at 4 am in the morning the noise outside the hotel was bad and woke us up. Hopefully not a common issue.

The welcome was great. Carmen, the receptionist, made us most welcome with helpful information and giving us room options if not happy. Although there was a wedding reception on the first day and christening party the second day- both were in the basement function room and the thoughtful addition of curtains on the staircase they did not disturb our stay at all. All staff were superb. Breakfast was extensive. Outdoor seating available too. Our room was massive. Bed very comfortable and although 2 singles they were very big and together. Bathroom large with walk in shower and bidet and double sinks. Towels large and fluffy!! Our window looked into an small side street and although had various night life places, once our windows were closed we heard very little. The roof bar and plunge pool area was great! Such brilliant views of the square and Alcazaba- sunset and night time. Location was superb- at the cathedral square near a great area of tapas bars and range of restaurants only 2 streets away. Esplanade was about 5 mins walk but of little interest to us. We visited the Alcazaba only 7 mins walk away- free entry for EU citizens. Still being developed but well worth the visit. We used the small sight seeing train once €3.50-no commentary but a nice short trip around the area. Overall the hotel was superb- set in an old hotel but sympathetically refurbished with modern touches. We loved it!! Highly recommended.👍

Charming old hotel located right in the centre of the old city. Room was lovely, spacious and a large bed with a great bathroom. Wonderful views from the rooftop terrace with its small pool, the terrace became a bar and restaurant in the late evenings. Breakfast was a tasty selection of Spanish cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, juices, bread and croissants. I noticed some reviews complain about the noise of the cathedral bell - it didn't disturb me at all and is silenced from midnight to 8am

I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

The reception staff are very nice and welcoming, as are the cleaners The rooms are spacious.

The location is difficult with a car and the parking, while close by, is a cumbersome experience. The toiletries in the bathhroom are very mean. The staff at the roof terrace bar are rather off-hand. For a hotel which is supposedly among the most prestigious in Almeria, the overall experience for the price is a little disappointing.

Excellent building, excellent rooms, fantastic location, kind staff, and the best roof terrace with a view to the main Cathedral square and the Alcazaba, wondeful day or night. Excellent large room, i was in room 22, and it had side view to the Cathedral and the side street. less loud than elsewhere. Very comfy bed. Place was super clean. Decent towels, unlike may other establishments of this calibre

Coffee and tea making facilities would make it so so much better. Room 22 I stayed in windows are above the hotel cafe, loud people having breakfast outside early means no sleep if you prefer fresh air to aircon. Without open windows or aircon the room got too stuffy. Bring earplugs if you are noise sensitive for that reason.

The quietness of the hotel in respect of the people. The large room. Friendly staff. Breakfast. Cocktails.

The bed was not comfortable at all. Very hard mattress. The pillows were too big and hurt my neck. My husband is 6ft3 and they were too high for him too. The bar didn't open during the day at the pool but I think this is more of a cultural difference. There was no tea and coffee facilities in the room..

Beautiful location overlooking the cathedral and in the quaint old town area with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars very close by. Around 25 minute walk to the beach. Lovely rooftop area with a small pool and they serve food there as well. The bedroom was very spacious and a large comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t have the breakfast or any food from the hotel so unable to comment. Overall would recommend and may return the future.

Bit noisy at night if you have windows open due to bars and restaurants plus cathedral bells ring every 30 mins. Nothing else negative!
