The terraces were lovely. On the ground floor a small courtyard with fountain. The rooms were off this courtyard. The 1sr floor again another simple space to relax in. Small pool, shower, lots of chairs, shaded areas. table. Here was also the separated, enclosed breakfast room.

This “ boutique” hotel cannot, of course, offer the same facilities as a larger more conventional hotel. I should have been more aware of this. Reception from 9am - 8pm. If any problem call an “ emergency “ number via your mobile. No telephone in room. Confusion over whether there was a laundry service or not. Breakfast was laid out for you. No buffet, no choice - tell Reception what you want the day before. In fridge only a bottle of water, though given a small bottle of wine on my last day. But after all there’s only I think 5 rooms and 5 staff and I believe they do their very best. My advice to avoid any disappointment ask Reception beforehand. They will help.

Beautiful property behind an inconspicuous facade. Moorish courtyard and roof terrace, de luxe rooms with personal touches, very quiet, just the calm trickle of the fountain in the courtyard to lull you to sleep on a very comfortable mattress.

On check out, I drew to the attention of the very helpful receptionist that the circular bath seemed to have a leak underneath which sent a small amount of water onto the surrounding floor, necessitating the use of towels to keep it safe. She was unaware of this and would have it attended to that morning. Apart from this, full marks.

This hotel is worth the effort to find as it is a hidden oasis close to the Alacazar as well as the local eateries and bars. The suites are beautifully appointed with Morrocon influences and everything you need for a comfortable retreat is there including a roof top to take in the views and a spa bath which was too cold to enjoy this time of year. The inner courtyard was a visual welcome to Almeria's little secret hideaway.

The graffiti on the buildings nearby are a bit off putting but indicative of the local vibe.

Hotel is in great location near city centre but in quiet street. We stayed in Jayran junior suite which was like a private residence. The owner and rest of staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tranquil oasis in which to relax after an exhausting day of sightseeing. The staff were amazing and attentive, but discreet. Really comfortable and clean room and a relaxing patio and pool area. Fresh and locally produced continental breakfast. The hotel is ideally located for all the main sites and areas. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. About 20 minutes away from the beach. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Clean, air conditioned compact rooms cleverly designed with everything we needed for a one night stay. The six or so rooms are located in a sunken courtyard with some natural light through a center window. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location near the Alcazar, the inexpensive adjacent garage parking, and the terrace though it did not have a view it was peaceful.

Everything was top notch: the heavenly desing of the room (celestial), the "rain"-shower, the large king-size bed, the satin sheets, the always kind and helpfull Pedro, Maria and rest of the staff. The breakfast was variated and had perfect cappuccino's, served in a cozy room. The discount from Pedro on the public parking seemed more difficult than it finaly was. It appeared simple and logical, no problem at all. It costs 12 euro' s a day. The parking is less than a 5 min walk from the hotel. There is a common lounge with a full view on the Muralla. In short: THNX a lot Pedro end Maria, you made our stay in Almeria perfect! 😘

This hotel is a total gem! The owners are very kind and attentive. The grounds are spotless and well-maintained. The rooms are quiet and comfortable with modern/industrial/trendy touches… the mirrors, shower, bathtub, walls, art, light fixtures… everything is very nice! They also have a Smart TV, espresso machine and mini fridge. The rooms smell amazing too. The water fountain in the courtyard is very relaxing to listen to at night. There is a small pool (which we didn’t use) but perfect for cooling off. The location is very convenient- parking is available nearby, and it is within short walking distance to the main square and so many restaurants/bars, markets, retail stores, etc. but the hotel itself is tucked away on a quieter street. We walked to the beach (took about 20 mins) but there are taxis lined up around the corner. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our 3 nights here. Highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay was wonderful! The staff was very helpful and kind, we had some challenges with our car and they were very kind to support! The room is lovely and the courtyard is just beautiful! We decided to enjoy the breakfast which we enjoyed. The location is convenient as well, in the city center so you can walk to bars, restaurants and the main sights. They recommended us an underground parking closeby which worked well for us.

Perfect location with superb helpful staff. The room is compact but well thought out and elegant. There is a beautiful terrace for relaxing. We stayed for 4 nights as Almeria is a charming low key city. We were given an excellent small bottle of red wine as a measure of their hospitality!
