Great location, clean facilities

You will start hearing bells from church from 8am - hard to sleep in.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Right in the heart of the action. Supermarket across the road and plenty of choices to eat. Easy walking distance to many things. And metros all close by and easy to use. Always felt safe in this area contrary to things I’ve heard or read. The room was large and clean. Plenty of storage space for luggage. Air con working great as did the wifi. This hotel also has a laundrette which was great to use to wash our clothes during our trip. 9euro to wash and dry a load of washing. I’m the lobby they have free water and coffee or tea 24/7. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to family and friends.

Not very soundproof. Could hear noise from outside, in the hallway and the room next door and above. The lifts are very small but didn’t have any issues going up or down at any time of our stay.

The location is unbeatable! Super close to Placa Cataluña (and therefore also buses, subway, and taxis). You can get to anything you want to see (and there is SO much to see in Barcelona). La Boqueria is also only steps away. Lots of places to eat and shop right outside your door. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our studio was quite comfortable, AC worked great, shower was good. Elevators are small (but that’s the norm here) and reliable.

Because you are right on Las Ramblas, it can be noisy late into the night. Not the property’s fault. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Very good location, situated on Ramblas, 3 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya. The apartment was clean , modern and simple furniture .The breakfast was acceptable, good value for money . The coffee machine in the Lobby which can be used all over the day is a very positive thing. Same the soda and filtered water machine.Air conditioning very good .

One ( of two) of the lifts was in reparation for 4 days and we had to wait too long to get a ride .I think that the Management should shorten this . On breakfast there were no vegetables ( no cucumbers nor bell peppers), but sometimes 1 or 2 tomatoes not so attractive. Although we were at the 9th floor . the bells of the nearby Cathedral, announcing the hour every 15 min was noisy.

The location is ideal, onto the Ramblas, near a metro and 5 min walk to gothic quarter. the place has a modern feel. Very clean. No cleaning during the stay but this was an option offered on reception. Free tea and coffee from downstairs. Roof deck was nice. Modern big rooms with aircon. Friendly staff. Security on door.

A pool on the rooftop would be nice. A shower room for guests that have already checked out and collecting luggage would be useful

Citadines Ramblas was the perfect location for my first stay in Barcelona. The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Las Ramblas where we could walk out from our hotel and venture to many restaurants, activities and main attractions in the city. We were also a short taxi ride from the beaches (approximately 15 mins commute). We also loved venturing around the Gothic area, which was also a short walk from the hotel. Our hotel room was spacious for two people and included a kitchenette and a large bathroom. The staff at the Citadines were wonderful and very helpful. And I appreciated the security outside the main entrance of the hotel. Thank you!

Nothing significant. We did have issues with the vending machine; however, that wasn't a big deal for us.

Room extremely clean and when serviced mid-week it was again left in first class condition. The Reception, eating and meeting areas were similarly spotlessly clean and tidy. Location is central for exploring Barcelona although being on Ramblas can mean background noise at night, especially if you want to have the window open, you get used to it. Good feeling of security. Brilliant view south to the sea from the top floor Terrace and our top floor bedroom. The availability of the Sun Terrace was a big bonus. Reception staff courteous and helpful, offering good advice on travel in and around city.

Very centrally located and staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel room was decently clean and a good size for the amount we paid.

The area around the property can get a bit dodge at night with hobos hanging around doing drugs. There is a security outside the hotel keeping an eye out though. There was quite a lot of street noise at night while trying to sleep with chapel bell chiming every 15 minutes. Rooms unfortunately aren’t serviced during your stay which results in rubbish building up and tea coffee etc not replenished

A Great central location but quiet room with a nice outlook at the rear. Modern and for a city spacious Very nice bathroom and walk in shower Good security with ground floor doors operated by key card and security guard there at most times. Comfortable bed - had a great nights sleep So nice the dog was welcome ( even if they did charge 15 euros for the night) The reception were very helpful with a late checkout being no problem The parking was secure and much cheaper than the other car parks around We could leave the car for a full 24 hours for 25 Euros

Finding it a bit of a problem as it is on the Ramblas BUT the door is set back along an alley way In the end we parked in another car park and walked to actually find it. More and better signage would help, Google maps kept telling us we had arrived but it didn’t “ jump out “ at us.

The location is great, on La Rambla and close to everything. Metro and bus are also available to reach the beach or park Guell. The room is clean, with nice little kitchen. Very useful, with fridge and stove and microwave and kettle. We were there in Feb, heating was available and probably air conditioning as well, easy to use.

There is no hanging hook in the whole room. Not in the hallway not in the kitchen. It is minor thing, but annoying. Also due to the location, it is noisy, though they do good job with noise insulation. However bring ear plugs for sleeping. One other problem is the shower, very slippery when the soap or shampoo is rinsed. Very, very slippery. And bring your own shampoo.
