It was my first ever visit to Barcelona. I had such an amazing time, beautiful city, very friendly people and the weather was amazing who was very lucky. Hotel Turin was located in an amazing place smack in the middle of everything you needed great restaurants, food markets bars, and not far from the beach.great transport links to get you around the city wherever you needed to go. The staff there were amazing friendly and very helpful. If any questions needed to be asked or recommendations they were very helpful . The bonus was the garden in the middle where you could sit outside in peace and quiet in the middle of the hotewhere you had breakfast ,chill out read a book or enjoy the sunshine.. The hotel is located near the main street of La Rambla, but it is around the corner, so the place is quite quiet. Our room had view to the courtyard and the terrace. Carrefour is nearby and several bars and restaurants downstairs. The housekeeping were particularly good, the maids were nice and helpful, they cleaned wet our room every day. The hotel offers many brochures with discounts to various attractions and events, and you can jus order it at the reception desk. There is a luggage storage room.

The breakfast is basically good, but it was the same all the days of our stay, so it got a bit boring at the end. Our room was on the fifth floor, so we had to take the elevator a lot. I agree with those who said above that the sink near the exit door of the room is a strange solution.

Good location on the Ramblas. 300 meters from Metro LICEU. 500 Meters from Placa Catalunya. 400 meters from Primark shop. 200 meters from Boqueria market. Quiet - not large - hotel. Friendly staff including the chambermaid. Satisfying breakfast.

Lack of a kettle in room is a significant disadvantage. It is unacceptable to leave room in the middle of the night, to dress yourself, to take the elevator to the lobby - just in order to prepare a cup of tea or coffee.

The hotel is very coinvently located in the city. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was awesome and had wide variety. They also made us cheese sandwiches upon request since we don't eat a lot of meat. Rooms were comfy and cozy. When we contacted the hotel earlier with some questions, the staff answered very well and helped us solving our queries. I would definitely recommend this hotel to the families travelling for vacations.

Nothing stood out much. If I have to pick something, they could add daily special on breakfast menu so that something new can be seen every day. The shower door was making a little squeaky noise.

Location was a top ! Really close to everything that you would like to see in Barcelona. Great neighborhood with amazing restaurants, really liked Bar Lobo. Staff were amazing, friendly and helping.

The rooms were quite outdated, you could tell the furniture and bathroom was already “tired”, no ventilation in bathroom as well. Towels were also a little ripped off and very thin. And one of the blankets was smelly ( sweat). Breakfast wasn’t that great for a 15€, poor choice of actual meals.

According to the photographs on the website, we booked a regular double room with separate bathroom. We got a very dark, narrow room with the sink outside the bathroom. It was fine, given the time we spent in the room. However, it seems weird to not differentiate prices between large rooms with full bathrooms and the kind of room we got. We kind of felt we received less than what we paid for.

Located next to the Rambla and Place de la Catalunya the hotel is very comfortable. You can get there from the airport in 20/30 minutes with the shuttle, that is cheap and cozy. The position is really in the centre of Barcelona, a city we love so much. The hotel is open 24 hours and the staff is always kind. The room is well furnished, also if the furniture is not new. The hotel has many facilities, like the possibility of making a tea at night, in the hall, or to put your luggages in a locked cabinet the day you have checked out. The breakfast is complete and everything is good. It has satisfied us. The price was affordable, hight relation quality/price (but I have to say we stayed here in low season.

The hotel satisfied us, it is difficult to find defects. Just one thing: the breakfast was good but the coffee is not up to par the other food.

Location is excellent. Perfect place to use as a pit stop in Barcelona. Its a lively part of the city- many restaurants, bars and cafes are super close by and even on the same road. Also I felt safe walking home at night as its such a lively and well lit part of town. I was really pleased with the bathroom- small but nice and clean and great shower pressure (important!). The room was small and cosy - I didnt spend much time in the room as I was out exploring so its perfect place to lay your head after a day of exploring. The outside terrace is also very nice! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Barcelona.

The breakfast was very good. Excellent expresso coffee, fresh fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, great danishes and croissants, but the hot foods are just so so (North American tastes). The TV was the worst in terms of English language news as well as how to operate and satellite channels, very few!! CNN, BBC, MSNBC, etc were always over around midnight, nothing 24hrs, only Spanish TV programs. Location was 100% EXCELLENT just steps away from La Rambla 1 block away from Plaça de Catalunya near the best taxi stops during morning rush and all tourist buses. Steps to Mercat de la Boqueria with excellent grilled seafood (tapas) counters and food stalls. Le Meridian Hotel and Hotel 1898 (both 4+) right at La Rambla street entrance to Turin Hotel are GREAT landmarks. Really good cheap big grocery shop for drinks, snacks and toiletries right beside Turin on the left. Walking distance to the university area with great outdoor seating cheap beer and food! Best free view of Barcelona with Sagrada Familia and a HUGE food fair on 9th fl El Cortz Inglés department store. GO THERE!! This was the BEST hotel in all my stays in Barcelona for location 100% and staff service. BEWARE of pickpockets 24hours and everywhere!!

The bed was very small for a queen and the linens not so great. No ice machine nor ice bucket but rather frozen "bags" of ice cubes available from the front desk person. Didn't like the satellite TV stations available.
