excellent location, staff were excellent

The room was quieter than expected. The room size was a bit larger than expected. We appreciated having the option of room service. The roof top pool deck was a nice escape and we appreciated having other food options other than tapas, proscuitto and ham after 12 days in Spain. Pool bar host was not very cheerful but really kind to fold a towel for my husband to sit more comfortable in the rope dining chairs without him asking. Also our room was ready an hour before check in when the 2 PM check in was already earlier than expected. We arrived early so this was really appreciated. Proximity of Boqueria was super.

It would have been nice to have umbrellas by the lounge chairs since it was in the high 80s. Beds and pillows were a bit stiff. No room service and hotel directory info in the room. We did not know how to call the desk or get room service and a staff member had to bring us a breakfast menu to order from. She kindly waited outside of our room to get the order form back (same woman who helped us on the pool deck). The room cost on Priceline was $228 per night but our receipt showed costs ranging from $216 to $350/night for our 5 night stay. I am not sure how the average worked out but I think it was higher. We wished the window/door opened all the way for additional fresh air.

The location was right in the heart of Las Ramblas, close to everything and easy to access. Loved the refreshing rooftop pool after long days of walking and the beautiful view of the city. The breakfast options are decent for the price. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean

The staff were fine, but the front desk staff seemed to just tolerate guests, and weren't the friendliest, which is understandable given all the types of guests they must have to deal with. But we stayed in other hotels during our travels in Spain where the staff were much nicer. The cleaning staff were always very kind

My husband and I stayed there for a week because the location of the hotel is perfect for Las Ramblas with bus stops and metro stations near by.The airport bus which is very convenient and inexpensive is not far from the hotel either. The room we had was spacious and the bed very comfortable, it has a bath as well as a shower which my husband and I like, there was also a fridge and a kettle.This is the 3rd time I've stayed there, once with my friend and twice with my husband.

The room my husband and I had was the end one on the corridor which faced the side street which was close to the main street so the noise of people and vehicles went on until the early hours. My husband and I got very little sleep the week we stayed, however we will stay there again the next time we visit Barcelona.

The hotel location is perfect for a visit to Barcelona - steps to Las Ramblas, lots of restaurants and a few minutes walk to touristy sites like the hop-on, hop-off bus, Palau Guell and the Cathedral. We visited Sagrada Familia (spectacular Gaudi cathedral) by taxi which cost less than 10 Euro. The hotel is very modern & new. We liked the breakfast and bar/restaurant. The roof-top patio view was a bonus with lots of sofas to enjoy the ambiance. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

WiFi in our room could have been stronger. Otherwise, everything was good.

Air conditioning wasn’t working so the room was too warm. We had to leave the window open to be able to sleep but then unable to close the curtains (black out). One of the staff at the reception (a short, slim male) was unfriendly, he shouted when we parked the car in the wrong spot - which happened because he didn’t explain properly when I asked (we only needed to unload the luggages). As you offer a la carte breakfast would be a good idea to have more staff to serve people. It took a while.

Nice hotel and very central to everything. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good & very relaxed atmosphere. Hotel is clean & my room was nice. I had read some reviews of the rooms been old & not clean. I couldn't find fault with the hotel. Theonly complaint was that I had a taxi booked for the airport & was cancelled without prior notice. The marathon was on and some roads were closed. This would have been known in advance ,to be told on that morning to go out and find one was not good service. Got sorted in the end but was an hour getting there.

The hotel is perfect location for Central Barcelona. It is right off the main La Rambla road so you can walk there within a minute but not right on the busy road. You can walk from the hotel to many different sight seeing locations, so many bars and restaurants and shops around Gothic Quarter. There is a taxi rank steps from the hotel if you are travelling further. Reception were very helpful with helping book our taxi to the airport for a very early morning flight, which was waiting for us as soon as we checked out at 5am. Hotel was clean, spacious room, staff were friendly. Check in was super quick and easy and the price was amazing for location! Could not fault the hotel on this.

The only downfall was the beds were not the most comfortable and the noise travelled through the rooms and from outside very easily. However everything else was perfect!

No information in the room regarding services eg iron, ironing board, reception phone number, tried all numbers and finally had to visit reception for the iron, no room service menu .

Location is very central, staff are nice, room was big and the bed was comfortable.

There were no hangers in the room to hang the towels, coats etc. Also there was no décor to the room which left it feeling a bit empty. We had a problem with our shower douche that it kept giving small electrical shocks every time we touched it. Nothing dramatic but not comfortable either. We told this to the reception and they said they will send someone over but it wasn't fixed during our stay.
