If you travel light, like us, this hotel is perfect. It's located in a pedestrian area, so you don't get traffic noise. It's smack-dab in the middle of everything you want to see, and close to public transportation. Since it's only about a 2-minute walk to Plaza de Catalunya, you are in the middle of everything. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Plus, it's close to all sorts of cafés and eating places.

I really liked this hotel. Advice: don't buy the breakfast package. There's a lovely café right next door.

Fab location. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Coffee machine downstairs made up for no kettle in the room. The hotel has kept many of the original features which is something I looked for when booking.

Nothing we didn't like about our stay. We didn't book breakfast or eat in the hotel which was ok as you aren't stuck for choice of places to eat at.

If you are light sleeper I would not recommend this hotel, the walls are thin as paper. We stayed in the room on 3rd floor and above our room there were annoying sound like every 15 minutes at night and morning. Like if someone was moving furniture. I coulnt sleep even with earplugs...

Great hotel and great location if you wish to stay in central Barcelona. The hotel has an old style to it, but it was fresh, clean and the staff were very friendly. These days it is great to stay at a hotel where the still clean the room every day without you having to tell them. The hotel is located in a cosy side street from the Rambla with fantastic small coffeeshops just when you exit the hotel, so easy to eat breakfast at a very affordable price.

When we booked, there were the option for a queenside bed, which we chose. However, please be aware that the hotel hava a limited numer of queenside beds and we didn't get one - besides that all was good!

A lovely boutique hotel steps from Las Ramblas and the Boqueria Market with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. We were very happy with the balcony view of street life -- a little noisy with windows open, but quiet once closed.

I had some difficulty with the inescapable stairs after spraining an ankle earlier in the trip -- there is an elevator but it did not go to our room. I was NOT happy with changed room prices after booking, but the rise in room rates our last two days was apparently due to fees imposed by Booking.com rather than the management. Might try to book directly next time to save money. We lost hot water halfway through the stay, though management did address the problem quickly.

the twin beds! I booked a double and they put two twins together but they were not connected securely in anyway and the beds kept moving apart in the middle of the night

Location was excellent. Rooms were clean Beds were very comfortable. Hotel lobby is stunning.

Only a recommendation, would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in room.

great location 2 minutes walking from Catalonia square. place was clean and they kept our bags from checkout till flight time.

You can here every noise from the hall and from the other rooms. it’s quite annoying

The location is fantastic!

The bathroom towels were pretty bad. Very small and thin. No face cloths. The bed sheets were only ok. We were there 4 nights. The sheets were never changed. That was OK but it would have been nice to have fresh pillow cases every 2 nights. Two of the front desk people were great, the guy and the long-haired woman. The night woman Milagros needs either more customer service training or a better attitude.
