The location was good. The staff were exemplary, and should be commended by their seniors. They make the hotel

I thought the room looked tired and dated, plus the location of where my room was (308) it was dark and dingy during the day. The carpets in some of the public areas, did also look worn and tired with some tears that were visible. In the past I have stayed in 3 other HCC hotels which were graded as ***, where as the Regente has a **** rating. It is only my opinion, but I assume that the 4 star rating is supported by the fact of its location and that it has a rooftop bar and pool area, and not to forget the staff who were all quite marvellous.

Unfortunately some rooms with horrible view to the dirty wall in the well yard and you don’t know about it booking time

The location was perfect, an extension of the famous but overcrowded Ramblas, it had the styling without the crowd. The architecture of the buildings on surrounding streets was characterful - Spanish old-colonial.

The night time noise of street cleaning by clanging machines echoing in the narrow old high-rise streets. Necessary but disturbing for anyone wanting the balcony doors open to sleep.

The location was amazing, the rooms were nice, the conference rooms were great and the staff were wonderful.

However, the business centre outside of the conference rooms was really just a waiting area. No printer, no business facilities. etc. The breakfast was ok but the toasting machine was broken and the coffee was pretty poor. The scrambled egg was not great either.

The hotel is very good. large, bright, comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. comfortable bed and sheets. excellent location. good and attentive staff. very nice bar on the roof overlooking the city.

the main entrance is reached via a staircase, there could be a ramp for luggage. bathroom amenities were only replenished on request. nothing that interfered with my stay, just suggestions.

Breakfast was very omorehensive with pretty much every breakfast item you could imagine and more. Dozens of pastries, cooked breakfast, fruit cold meats and cheeses, breads and toaster, juices and a coffee machine. The rooftop bar had a great vol damn beer and a small plunge pool. It had shady spots and was a lovely spot to spend an evening. The room was small but well appointed. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was definitely on the small size and wouldn’t accommodate a longer than overnight stay or even a couple of people. It was quite ok as a transit hotel I stayed a single night in and did not unpack my case.

The location of the hotel is perfect as its just a walk from many central locations. The facilities are great with a swimming pool and bar on the roof which gives views of all of Barcelona including the Sagrada Familia. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and accommodating when we needed to have a later check-out due to our flight being in the evening.

We were upgraded to a room with view on the Ramblas! We had a great stay, location wise it is the perfect hotel to stay when you are on a city trip. Lot's of things are interesting places to visit are walking distance from the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The localization is perfect. The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff is quite helpful.

Some rooms are quite dark as the buildings stand close to each other - you will need light during the day. Generally the common space in the hotel is very limitted. They close their bars and roof at 11.00pm

Modern, very clean, staff extremely friendly. Wonderful rooftop bar. Good air con, excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Drinks at rooftop bar were very reasonable. Everything was perfect. Really good location.
