The hostel's in a central part of the city, walking distance from the airport bus, near lots of shopping and eating options, and very near a well connected metro station. Staff were friendly and helpful. All the basic things were provided for. There is a lift, though it is very small, so it's usually used for luggages or more elderly people. I prefer the stairs, but there is this option if you're willing to wait during peak periods.

The shower is on the small side, and the room can be stuffy with just one window and a fan. There was a heat wave when we were there, and the fan provided was not sufficient to blow at both bunk beds.

Excellent location, close to passeig de gracia. Next door was nice big supermarket with decent prices. Plaza Catalunia just 5-10 min walk. Room was big enough for 6 beds with lockers. As the building is old, it was a bit noisy but ear plugs did their job. Kitchen had everything you need, even some free stuff to use. Bathrooms and toilets were clean. Bed was comfortable. Price was amazingly low. No extra charge for towels and linen as in the other hostels.

The location was THE BEST, the price was amazing, and I love the fact that I didn't pay extra for booking a female dorm (which is usually the case) the place felt more like a big apartment rather than a hostel which is a BONUS. Apparently on Saturdays there is free pizza but I didn't know about it.

Quite noisy but it's because of the location, so nothing you can do about it.. we had to sleep with the window open since it was quite hot even for November. Also the shower had some problems with the hot/cold water... A small detail, there aren't any key lockers once you do check out, which is usually not a problem for me but I asked if I could leave my backpack inside my room's locker just for an hour (because I was traveling with my laptop) they said no. I didn't want to risk leaving it without a key so I had to carry it around the city.

Location is wonderful. Everyone at the reception was amazingly friendly and nice. We met some new fellows in the kitchen, and the kitchen itself is well equipped. We had no problems cooking, eating and having coffee for free was super nice bonus. There’re also free mini-croissants and tea. They even had free pizza hours on Thursdays and Saturdays. Beds were ok, free towels wonderful.

We stayed on the second floor, and the bathrooms were not quite clean ;( the showers looked quite filthy, so I couldn’t make myself stand there with my bare feet. And there wasn’t AC in the rooms, but it was stated so nothing to complain about. We were provided with two big fans, so sleeping was comfortable enough.

It is a good hostel in the center of Barcelona with walking distance to Playa de Catalunya, House Battlo, Sagrada Familia and to the Sea. The staff of the Hostel are friendly, i liked that they send me in advance all of information I needed to get to the Hostel, that was very helpful. After walking all day and sightseeing in Barcelona I was happy to come to Buba House and have a cup of hot tea in the cozy kitchen and relax in my bed. In the kitchen there are a fridge, teapot, microwave, coffee machine and some dishes. The shower and toilets were clean, the bed was comfortable and sheets clean and ironed. Next door to the Hostel there is a good supermarket. I felt like I had my own lovely place to stay in Barcelona and that's was great! Thank you, Buba House, I will definitely come back!

Very nice hostel. I recommend staying here :) I stayed in a female dorm for 6 girls, quite spacious. Each bed had own power socket, lamp, little shelf and a big locker with key (no need for own padlock). They also provided towels for free. The bathrooms are nice, shower and toilet separate. Two showers, two toilets on each floor. Hand soap, hand towels provided. They have hairdryer. The kitchen is really spacious, has everything you need to cook a meal. There is free tea, coffee, little sweet croissants every day (not from the bakery, but store bought). The internet works really well. The staff is super nice and attentive. Each room has an AC. Very clean, cleaned every day. Quiet in the night and during the day. The neighbourhood is safe and close to many touristic attractions. All in all I really enjoyed my stay in Buba House : )

The location is very good, the room and bathroom were clean, and they provided the towel and clean bedsheets. There was a kitchen as well, just I stayed for one night and did not use that. The personnel was super nice, especially the guy in the reception, if I remember correctly, his name was Omar, he even keep my stuff after check out. I highly recommend the hostel, especially, for solo travelers, and in general, it was good. Also forgot to mention that there was a locker with the key, which is very important because in most of the places, they do not provide this and you additionally need to buy a lock!

In general, I like everything, just my bed was on the second floor (I hope I explain this correctly :D) , a bit inconvenient for me, but in general, I liked everything.

Wonderful friendly staff, couldn’t do enough to help! Allowed us to leave our bags after check-out to avoid carrying them around all day before our flight. Use of the kitchen and free tea/coffee/bread was included in the price. Lovely communal vibe, guests could leave uneaten food items or toiletries for future guests at the end of their stay or label items they wished to store. Not one of our labelled food items was touched, which is more than I can say for my fridge at work! Rooms were simple but spotless and there was unlimited access to fresh towels and the bathrooms had toilet roll and hand soap at all times. Overall a fantastic place for budget travellers that is highly recommended!

Absolutely no complaints!

The location was perfect for the price! Some of the big attractions are about 20 minutes away on foot, very doable and on populated busy streets. There's a metro station and bus stations all around the hostel, so if you prefer public transport, it's easy to get to. The personnel, Tini, were all so nice and helpful! The space did what it needed to do - I was warm, safe, access to a kitchen, it was mostly clean, and well located. It is placed in an old apartment building, so expect small spaces, smaller bathrooms, and doors and floors that creak. It's up one flight of stairs, but there is an elevator if necessary.

The street next to the apartment building is BUSY. There was SO MUCH noise out of our window, all night long. I had earplugs, we eventually shut the window, and it was still really loud traffic noises all night.

Perfect location,5minutes from metro and gorgeous Casa Battlo.Despite the hoste is in the centre,it was quite and peacefull. Staff was very friendly, we got all the usefull information when asked for help. Got towels and shower gel also,that I haven't expected. Kitchen was very comfortable,full of everything you need for breakfast(even for cooking if u want). Thank you Buba House! I had a great holiday at your place with my son!

The only thing that I can mention, that the room was dark.We managed to let in some fresh air by opening the door.
