Very convenient location if you would like to see Barcelona's sightseeing and live near shopping area. Staff was very friendly. Rooms and reception decorated very stylish and I can recommend this boutique hotel to travelers who love unusual hotels.

The standard room we got after check-in was very small, without any windows and fresh air. The bathroom was not separated from the room. After we spoke Booking.com support we were transferred to another room.

The location is perfect , the coziness of the places and the beauty of the attention to details in the interior. 24hours staff which sometimes not common in Europe. I loved everything about my room category , it might be small for some peoples taste but for me it’s perfect size and even enough for two, plus again really cozy interior and so clean. I haven’t tried breakfast so I can’t judge on that. They also have few beautiful spacious living rooms to read or work. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. And finally the bed and the pillows are super comfy

Unfortunately my booking was the last room available so I got room 6 which is right next to the hotel entrance and being a small boutique hotel I can hear people checking in and out ringing the door bell and discussing. The staff was very sorry for that but there were no other room available, I think it’s just room 6 cause from what I saw the location of the other rooms is great and I don’t think it’s noisy so make sure when booking to avoid room 6 if you’re a light sleeper.

The room is located on a busy street. The view is nice, yet street noise of cafes below continue very late into the night.

Centrally located on the Passeig de Gracia, near public transportation, restaurants and shopping. Our room looked across the boulevard at Gaudí’s stunning Casa Battló. In spite of the busy location, our room was super-quiet. The entry from the street is quite secure, with the hotel located one level up from the street. Spacious room and bath, interesting decor, beautiful linens and towels. A very nice breakfast is available for an additional charge, with eggs cooked to order, a variety of pastries, breads and fruit, cheeses and meats. The artful decor is continued throughout the lounge spaces, which offer a pleasant and serene space to have a drink at the end of the day. Very accommodating staff ready to help in any way.

Location, location, location. You can barely beat the location of this hotel. Cleanliness level is excellent; everything was pristine. Additionally design is superb; you feel in a sophisticated, well taken care of place.

Our room had NO daylight whatsoever. Our window faced a wall with no daylight and that made waking up a bit difficult. On top of that, whenever we went into the room during the day, it felt like midnight. It didn't hurt us because we didn't spend much, but we assumed we were paying the price for a regular room (and by regular I mean with sun light). If you like sunlight, make sure to ask for it.

The property is a real treasure for a short stay in Barcelona. Perfectly located in the heart of the city, super clean and well equipped rooms with an amazing view to Casa Batlló, satisfying charismatic interior design and atmosphere is so relaxed. The staff is always friendly and professional. Cannot be grateful enough for having us for the second time already. We will definitely return again and again. Thank you wholeheartedly!

We liked how quaint and private entrance and property are. The decor/design is special and I understand done by famous interior designer. The rooms are unique to one another. they have nice bathtubs and fixtures. the water is replenished daily and room was serviced.

I feel that when spending thousands for a fews days at a property there could be some personal touches. It would have been nice to receive welcome gift, note, or similar. I have experienced this at much bigger hotels. The Gallery in Barcelona did it for a single night stay I didn’t feel a welcomed experience even upon check in. You also cannot expect to have windows open at all. The noise goes to wee hours in the front, street rooms. I did not sleep but that’s also jet lag.

Perfect location centrally in Barcelona near Old Quarter, Metro stop, and right across the street from Casa Batlo. Incredibly helpful staff especially since they have it staffed 24/7 with helpful staff with only a total of nine rooms. Great breakfast with cook to order eggs. Very much a boutique hotel with only 9 rooms occupying the second floor of a nice apartment building. Security was excellent.

Only downside was no natural light since I think all rooms are interior rooms. Upside was no noise from a very busy street outside.

Everything about the Margot House is exceptional. The star are very helpful, kind, and add a thorough dimension to the place. I found the interior to have just the right balance between edgy, yet a clean style - definitely will inspire my own home down the road. The entire place was very clean, and I love the added touch of having freshening kit, as I had come from the airport with no luggage/ hardly anything on my back. Seeing that my flight was not until 3am the following day, the house was so kind as to let me work and relax in the common area/lobby. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends who visit Barcelona because it is truly a special place.

I picked this hotel partly for it’s mid town location - a few blocks up from Plaza Cataluña and sitting right on top of the Passeig de Gracia metro and train stations. There are plenty of places to eat and shop within a few minutes of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional and when I returned to the hotel I was generally greeted by name and given my key without having to ask. It is a stylish and comfortable hotel.

For me the obligatory emergency evacuation notice was mounted much too high on the bedroom door. I’m not a tall person and I wear varifocal glasses where I look through the bottom of the lens to read so with the notice being so high up I could barely read any of it even with my head bent right back. As a frequent traveller this is the first thing I look for in any hotel room.
