Location was superb, at least for us… not in the middle of the completely crowded touristic areas, but in the more elegant area of Barcelona next to all branded retail stores. Location was close to everything, we literally walked to barceloneta down south and Sahrada up north. We rarely needed transportation. In case we did need, couple of bus stops around the hotel and a metro station just across the road.

I think free water wouldve been amazing as we had to keep making sure we bring water bottles back to the hotel with us. (Most and nearby supermarkets are quite expensive for water, cheaper ones are a bit far). Still not a big deal for me and would definitely repeat the stay.

We loved how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We also enjoyed the special little extra touches such as a welcome glass of champagne, macerons in our room, chocolate when we left and even some tasty little coconut treats from the kitchen staff on our first day. We were also able to leave our suitcases at reception on the first and last day once we'd checked out of our room which was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful with a good selection to choose from. Also lovely little rooftop pool.

We didn't like the noise from the rooftop bar as our room faced the centre of the hotel where it was quite loud but this turned out not to be an ongoing problem because as soon as we mentioned it to the hotel staff they immediately moved us too a beautiful room with a balcony facing the outside, which was perfect for us. So, thank you hotel Anna.

A cool hotel that attracts younger people, in a very good location in the Eixample, if you like that slightly fancier area of Barcelona, right on the corner of Paseo de Gracia. Everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The hotel is completely styled, the rooms decorated in wild colors, they are not very big but big enough. Very comfortable bed with a myriad of pillows. Very good soundproof windows. Nice bathroom with nostalgia fittings styled on old. Fun detail: the wall of the shower is transparent from the inside and a mirror from the outside. Breakfast is the classic, generous buffet with more or less everything you need, but nothing extraordinary. On the roof, a small refreshment pool and sun loungers, and a second terrace with a cool open air bar open to the public with a view of the Paseo de Gracia and the famous Casa Batllo by Gaudí.

One small thing: the shower head can not be fixed anywhere to direct the jet.

The location was good and central for all attractions we were interested in. The room was comfortable and well equipped though I thought I had booked a room with a balcony as the paperwork seemed to indicate that but there was no balcony with our room 411. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we preferred to start our day and stop to eat/drink when we came across something that appealed to us.

I would definitely want a balcony if I came again as it was a little claustrophobic with no outside space or sizeable windows.

first day my room is very very small I am not expecting what I pay then next day Mariona change my room the room size is ok but back view also room need deep cleaning specially all Elictric switch & lights next room toilet flush voice coming outside carpet also need to wash breakfast is average I asked for fry eggs but she refused!

We liked the design of the room. Ahead of arrival we feared it would be too colorful (we stayed in the red room) but it was really nice. The beds were comfortable, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere cozy and welcoming. The rooftop and pool seem nice, though we did not really make use of them. Location was a perfect balance between being within a walking distance from most points of interest while not being in the midst of it. The bathroom was both nicely designed and convenient.

The gap between the desk and the bed was a bit narrow, making it difficult to cross the room when someone was sitting there.

The location is superb! Quint hotel with rooftop bar on 8th floor. Great food and cocktails there. Breakfast was a buffet and quite good. Room and bathroom spacious.

The tiles on the floor everywhere. Now I dont mind that as they actually provide slippers but floor was so dirty, like it hasnt been washed for months. When you have tiles in rooms its not enough just to vacuum, it needs to be clean before new guests arrive into the room. Stains everywhere on the floor and that is my only complaint really.

Great breakfast!!! Good food with a lot of options. The location is perfect, Casa Batllo is, literally, across the stress, Rambla Catalana is the next street, if you want an area with lots of restaurants. Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla are 5 minutes walking. The metro connections from Passeig de Gracia station suited me best with direct lines to Barceloneta, Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia. The staff is supportive and accomodating.

Whatever you do, don’t pick the cheapest room! You’ll need to upgrade to something larger as you won’t have space even to put your luggage, no matter how small it is. Luckily, the staff will help you upgrade at not a huge price difference.

The staff at the reception…especially the lady that work the day shift. she was always friendly and helpful, I forgot the name. Also Javier from the evening shift, he was very helpful when I needed to upgrade and provided me with reasonable advise and rates. Breakfast was good and the location is outstanding. Room was nice but pay attention to the information provided because some of the rooms are very small. The shower is wonderful and they provide all amenities.

I think it’s time for a deep cleaning to the floors at the rooms. some stains are visible. Also still they seem to not recognize loyal customers. I’m not sure they integrate customers information from their other hotels…no loyalty cards or programs offerd.

The hotel was fairly quiet and welcoming. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Really good selection of breads, cereals, meats, sweet treats, juice, fruit, good coffee and hot food too. The special of the day was a mini croissant with parma ham - so tasty! The breakfast room was also really nice too. The location was really good. Near the centre (down a side road from the Batlo house), but not too loud and there are some great little cafes on the surrounding roads.

There were some stains on the floor in the bathroom and water marks on the walls and down the side of the sink area. The hotel could use a few little updates, but it was still a really nice stay.
