Spotlessly clean. Excellent location, in Bari Gotic, but only 4 min from Plaza Catalunya, so easily assessable to rest of the city, & all forms of transit. In a busy area, but on a quieter side street, minimal noise issues, even though it's city center. Grocery stores, Mercat Boqueria, pharmacies, gadget stores, department stores, La Catedral, within 5 min walk. Cafes outside the front door. Has the rare mini-fridge in-room, they usually have a spare kettle on hand, & a shared, clean, microwave.

The wifi on the 4th fl. could be a bit spotty at times, called front desk (only 4x in 13 days) to re-set router, & it was fixed immediately. No worse than my wifi at home!

It has a wonderful location, couldn't be more convenient for a tourist: next to La Rambla, close to the cathedral, a short walk to Passeig de Gracia and the Gaudí houses there, and a short walk to the Picasso Museum and Santa Maria del Mar as well. The room had a balcony where we could watch the street and where my mother could smoke.

There was no breakfast option, only a modest coffee machine on one of the floors.

This hotel is very well located. 2 minutes walk to Piazza Catalunya, public transport (buses, trains, etc). There are several restaurants, cafes and stores on the same street. A very quiet street at night yet close to everything. The hotel is kept clean with daily cleanings. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The AC was not cold enough and they kept scheduling power out periods. I also think the price charged is higher than it should be for a hotel that offers nothing but a room to stay. The stairs were quite steep and could be actually very dangerous. There is only one small elevator and in case of a need for a quick evacuation, those stairs could be dangrous and even fatal if someone was to fall.

the Catalunya was a very nice modern & clean hotel in a great location on a quiet street in the Las Ramblas neighborhood. it was safe & close to many great restaurants! I would recommend this hotel for those who want to be close to all the sights in Barcelona!

the 1/2 shower door did not provide enough of coverage to prevent water from spraying all over the floor & toilet. it needs a larger door to prevent this. There was no way to reduce the water spraying all over the place.

I was not aware of how great the location is. The hotel is very central, near everything you will have to visit in Barcelona. If you come to the airport by bus, you will arrive at plaça da catalunya and the hotel is 5min walk. On the same street you have a very good and affordable coffee so that you can snack/breakfast or buy anything to go. A pharmacy, restaurant ... basically anything you will need. Related to the room/hotel itself. It is very good. The staff are very nice and welcoming! The rooms are small but enough! The bed is very comfortable and everything was clean. Every day our room was cleaned. If I ever return to Barcelona I will go to this hotel again. If my friends ask me for a place to stay i will also recommend this hotel! I loved it

It's a central street. With central streets on a friday night you will have noise. Fortunately, the windows actually don't let the sound enter a lot :) If you need absolute silence to fall asleep, maybe you will have problems if you are visiting during a weekend, but it is totally ok either way

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly and check in was simple and quick. My room was comfortable and no issues with the AC! No breakfast at the hotel but a few cafes and bakeries almost next door. A very comfortable, but short stay.

Where my room was located (quiet corner room), there is an air space outside the room with the ducting etc., visible so that was a little surprising on arrival but when retro-fitting old buildings this is probably the only thing they could do!

The staff was lovely -- cheerful and patient and willing to store our bags for a few hours. The location was excellent -- close to the airport bus stop and a subway station. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, as well. Our room was immaculate and the AC was very much appreciated in the middle of an August heat wave.

Our room was very small and bare bones. Our window looked out at a brick wall.

great location in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona near the Pl Catalunya square. Good restaurants,stores all right there! staff was so helpful and kind. The lovely gals at the front desk could answer any question and help with any need. Rooms we’re clean and spacious. There was also a microwave and some vending machines on the 1st floor. I would absolutely book this place again as it made traveling about the city so easy!

There was T anything I could say I didn’t like about this property.

Staff were very helpful on arrival and friendly. Room was ideal for me, had a fridge for water to he kept cold and even a little balcony which I didn't expect in a single room! Shower had great water pressure and location was ideal for getting to the airport, using the metro and walking down la Rambla. I also walked to the sagrada familia which was around 35 minutes.

No complaints!
