If you are planning a short trip to Barcelona, this place is great. Located at Rambla and Plaza Catalunya, so most of the most important points to see are within walking distance. At Plaza Catalunya, there is a metro station that allows you to get basically anywhere. The standard of the rooms is not too high, but it is a two-star hotel, so do not expect miracles - the main thing is that it is clean, and the staff is kind and very helpful. To sum up, if the room is to be used for sleeping after a whole day of sightseeing, I definitely recommend it.

In the winter season, be prepared for the room temperatures to be rather low. Radiators are only in the corridors, not in the rooms, so people with low tolerance to cold should take this into account. With a temperature of 10 degrees outside, however, sleep was completely comfortable.

Amazing stay for the price. The best location right at the top of Las Ramblas - perfect access to tours and shops and it’s super easy to stumble back to after some sangrias. The staff were AMAZING. As soon as we checked in they upgraded our room for free, we were given tips, tricks and discounts to local attractions. I cannot thank the staff enough for our treatment/house keeping and general happiness that added to our stay! The hotel was manned 24hours which made us feel super safe. We could even leave our luggage in the hotel on our final day after checkout to explore the city some more. All in all fabulous hotel, amazing for the price, we will definitely be back next time we come to visit as you cannot beat the cleanliness, kindness, location and standard of the hotel!

Of course some facilities were slightly worn, the building itself is old but it adds to the character. If you want brand new everything then go elsewhere. If you want to feel safe and comfortable on a smaller budget - this is the place to be!

This is the best place we could have chosen for our trip. It is close to everything you need to see in Barcelona, Las Ramblas is down the stairs (also you have cheap restaurants for breakfast right downstairs, Burger King, McDonald's, KFC, also a very good pastry shop), you are a walk away from La Boqueria, from the Gothic Quarter, 10 minutes walk to the Colombus Monument, then from the monument you are a few minutes away from the marine and from Barceloneta Beach. Also, the Park of the Ciutadella is very close on your way back to the hotel. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, the cleaners did a great job every day, it is very safe to leave your stuff in the room (even though we locked our luggage every time we went out). The bus to the airport is a few minutes away from the building. We can't wait to come back to this hotel and to wonderful Barcelona!

This is simple hotel which is good for short stay. Located at the central square. Easy to walk around to the shops, restaurants, can walk to the seaside- no need taxi. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We got our room upgraded from inner yard view to the city view with an amazing views to the city centre and got a balcony.

I personally was disturbed by the noise from the corridor as the doors seem to be very thin and not a soundproof. Staff members arrive to clean the rooms every morning and this noise can be heard very clearly even if they are not doing it willingly.

Great location! Right in the heart of Barcelona: on corner of Placa de Catalunya and Ramblas. The hotel located in a very old classic building, high ceiling, balcony overlooking the Placa de Catalunya. It has elevator. Literally few steps to metro, buses, Hop on Hop Off tour buses, any kind of restaurants. Staff is great. Very helpful. You can check in early, or to leave luggage until 3pm, if early check in not available.

Would be nice to have a little fridge/cooler, and a small coffee maker in the room. Hair dryer, too.

Excellent location! Would recommend. I stayed 1 night with my 5 year old daughter. We booked a double room with shared bathroom but they kindly up graded us to a ensuite room. Still small but great for us. The reception staff Lewis and Vanessa were excellent and soo helpful and could speak English. They let me borrow the plug converter for free too. We took the aerobus from the el pret BCN airport which stopped at Placa catalonia and hotel was 2 min walk right next to burger king and Primark. It is next to La Ramblas and everything was right there and open till very late. Lewis booked our tour bus for us and we got the bus from across the road. The hotel is outdated but perfect if you don't plan on staying in lot. They provided towels. Soap and shower gel too.

Everything was great but when the fire alarm went off in the night for a long time there was no way to contact downstairs as phone wasn't working j my room. So I had to go down from fourth floor by stairs with child to be safe and check all is OK. The TV also didn't work. But everything else was great. Highly recommend this place for convinience.

Location is excellent, just a step away from Placa de Catalunya. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Cleaning stuff was excellent as well. They completely cleaned rooms every day, changed bed sheets and towels. We got our room way ahead of check in time and on our last day we could leave our luggage in the hotel. The gave us a small bottle of water every day and you have a safe and air conditioning.

Rooms are relatively small and dark, we would like to have a little bit more of fresh air (we had single interior rooms). We found a few little bugs. One of the rooms didn't have bathroom door (rooms were single bed).

Great value for money, very central and clean! Staff was very, very kind and actually upgraded our room to one with private bathroom without us requesting it. The bed was comfortable and all basic amenities were there. Sunny little balcony with a bit of a view, just perfect for a short stay. We had no issue whatsoever.

We were actually happy with everything, we had some concerns about possible noise but our room was interior (did not face the street but a patio) and truth is we had no problems sleeping through the night.

Great location : the hotel is located in the heart of the city and the main attractions are walking distance from there. Staff is very professional , friendly who is eager to help. We booked a room with a shared bathroom and it was perfectly clean , even in the common area . Good value for the money , I highly recommend it!

Building is a bit old with basic equipment and it can get noisy sometimes.
