Great location for first time visitors to Barcelona. We were able to walk everywhere except Parc Gaul. The front deck staff were exceptional and secured dinner reservations in a restaurant we were unable to reserve - they also made excellent restaurant recommendations. It was great to have outdoor space when we needed a break in the afternoon - the roof top pool area and outdoor lounge spaces were lovely.

It’s a 25 minute walk to the Gothic quarter where there is an abundance of restaurants and lovely winding alleys - we walked it but after a full day on our feet would have liked to be closer. That being said, it was also great being away from this heavily touristed area.

Amazing hotel. Stayed 3 nights in a very comfortable room. Beds were comfortable with wonderful sheets/pillows. Spacious shower w/separate toilet. Slippers/robes were a nice touch along with complimentary drink tickets & Cava bottle on ice. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Quiet, even facing a busy street. Blackout sliding doors allowed us to sleep in after late wedding affair. Safe and secure hotel. Small dipping pool & bar on 5th floor. Live music at times in bar downstairs. Great restaurants & shopping blocks away.

Wish parking was a little cheaper, but in line with other hotels.

The room size was great and, since I was with my partner I like the fact that the bathroom is "open air" with two sinks. Breakfast was great with many options. Some of them even freshly made. The location is great, right across Passeig de Gracia, definitely the most exciting street of Barcelona with many shops and attractions like Casa Batlo and Casa Mila.

The cleaning lady knocked at our door on Sunday morning when we were still in bed. She mistaken the room so not a big deal but something to pay a little more attention.

Location was absolutely brilliant, so easy to get to and only 20 mins away from the airport. All of the staff were brilliant, very welcoming and extremely helpful. Highly recommended, would definitely return. We had a fantastic stay and couldn't find fault with this place. Thank you.

The rooftop was really lovely but would have been even better if the bar was open so we could have had a drink up there but really wasn't an issue at all they had a lovely bar downstairs with another really great seating area outside too. There really was nothing to dislike at all!

Staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. The little pool area on floor 5 was great to chill for a few hours after a day of sightseeing. Rooms spacious and modern.

Could do with better soundproofing between the rooms.

The hotel is nicely located very close to the Passeig de Gracia, several metro stations and quite few restaurants. It is quite new and very neatly designed, however some rooms seem to be needing a renovation. The hotel has a nice bar and the restaurant. The cleaning service was especially good. Also, the breakfast was fantastic.

Some hotel rooms already need a renovation. There was a bit of chaos in the reception, especially when the hotel had events in the lobby. Restaurant’s menu could be improved. The cosmetics, as for a five stars hotel, could be better

Greeted by friendly and attentive staff. Great size of room, although a little expensive. Lovely little pool terrace (yes - the pool is small but big enough for a dip after a day of sightseeing). Great food selection at breakfast but limited options if you choose to eat there in the evenings.

For a 5* hotel at high end prices there could have been something extra available - perhaps a spa room offering massages, facials etc? Open plan bedroom/ bathroom with opaque glass door to toilet may be an issue with some people

Super location in the centre of Barcelona, easily accessed by car or public transport (underground station nearby). Parking is onsite under the hotel and is very safe. The rooms are a very nice modern design, quite bright and contemporary. Breakfast is buffet style with menu options offered by a very friendly and helpful host. The staff in this hotel can not do enough to accommodate you, whatever you need/want they can help. Compared to other hotels nearby of this standard, Ocean Drive offers excellent value for money.

I really like this hotel and will come back, the only drawback for me is the lack of fresh air in the rooms as the windows do not open, so the a/c is operating constantly and is quite noisy.

Receptionists: Very welcoming and friendly. Staff flexibility and openness to assist guests during their stay. Staff are very informative. l was able to obtain all information about different tourist attractions and services in the area. I will definitely book to stay at your hotel or visit other Od hotels in the future. Big thank you to Receptionist: Sofia. Sofia was very approachable. Sofia helped navigate most local services Restaurant & bar. - Very friendly staff - Good sense of hospitality mainly staff member - Javier ( Big thank you) - Delicious breakfast food ( more options available for guests. - Fantastic settings plus entertainment as a bonus. **** I will recommend Ocean Drive Barcelona and Od hotels to all my family, friends and work colleagues in Australia plus connections overseas. keep up the great work.
