Room was really clean and comfortable, the bed was great. The hotel is well maintained and looks great inside out. Reception staff was very friedly and helpful.

Most of the staff at the restaurant does not speak English, so we kinda stuggled each time to place our order. Unacceptable for a hotel restaurant, especially for a 4 star hotel.

A big shout out to Justyna and Mureia at reception who were very personable and keen to make our stay enjoyable. They were exceptional and very attentive to our needs. We also loved the convenience of the hotel restaurant and sampled a number of their dishes which we thouroughly enjoyed. If you're looking for a peaceful and clean environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre then I would definitely recommend this hotel. There are close transport links into the city centre as well as the beach and other attractions. We would definitely choose the same hotel on our next visit.

I would have given my overall experience the maximum score of 10 if the hotel had a pool/Jacuzzi and sauna facilities.

The personal on the reception was very friendly and responsive, they change our room on a bigger and better one after a water leak problem in the bathroom. Sound isolation from the street was very good in both rooms. The location of the hotel is good, in 9 minutes walking distance metro line L3, which can bring you directly to the city center in 20-25 minutes, and very good connection to the airport by metro (only one switch). Overall the room was clean and there was wine/bottle opener, and coffee machine.

In the first room which we got was cracked shower tray in the bathroom, but we got a room upgrade. There were also a few ants in the first room near the entrance, but we didn't see them in the other room. The lighting in the room could be better. The soundproofing from the corridor is terrible, you can hear everything very loudly.

The location was perfect, very nice area of the city and way more quiet if you like it that way. The staff was extremely friendly and the bed very nice and comfortable. Generally very good value for money

The water in the shower was not that warm and the sound proofing was less than expected. However the area is quiet, so at the end it was not much bother. Also in the room description it was mentioned that there will be slippers provided in the room, but there weren't any

Nice location, 7-8 min of walking to metro line that will take you anywhere you need as a tourist. It was cleaned every day, towels changed also. Enough space in a room for 2 persons, where to leave luggage. Room looks modern.

Bathroom without a brush for a toilet and there is no air vent in bathroom to take the steam out when you shower. Also, bed was not so comfortable, with hard mattress, I had a feeling like I am sleeping on the floor

The location (quiet), the room and the beds, the breakfast and the staff that was always very helpful to us. Speifically Olliver who made our son (8) feel like home :-).

When you have a room at the front side it can be a little noisy since the restaurant/bar is downstairs and has a terrasse that can be quite busy in the evenings, but we didn't really mind because around midnight the restaurant closes.

dark decor. no mirror to do makeup etc (only mirror in bathroom where lighting dim). charged for making own coffee in the room (missed the tiny sign that said tea bag supplied free but coffee capsule charged). staff in restaurant friendly but a bit over-familiar. heating/cooling in room slow to respond.

The hotel is in a quiet area, but it's only a couple of minutes from the bus stop and 10 minutes from Maria Cristina. The staff let me check in early and were helpful. The room was big and modern with a fridge and safe. Having a terrace was a good addition. The whole hotel was very clean. The restaurant attached to it was nice too.

Really well put-together, new or recently updated, very nice and polite staff, attention to details, plus good food for breakfast, in conclusion a pleasure. Would come back & recommend with no hesitation.

Not sure if it would be technically possible to sound-proof the rooms a bit more (might be a good/big? investment for the street-side/above the terrace), but other that that nothing to suggest.

Upper Diagonal Hotel is a nice comfortable boutique hotel situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood, very close to the place where I had my meetings. It has all the facilities and services that you need to make your stay enjoyable. The staff is nice, professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

I do not have much to say. Upper Diagonal Hotel is a well kept and organized hotel and I wish there were more like it in the world it would make my life easier! Being a two floor building there is no loss of time to get in and get out.
