I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ona Cala Pi, and I must say it is a perfect place to spend a calm week with family, especially if you have three kids. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing us with a homely atmosphere during our stay. It was a pleasant surprise to find a washing machine and a full kitchen in the room, which made our stay even more convenient. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Cala Pi beach from our room. Waking up to such a mesmerizing sight every morning was truly amazing and added to the overall charm of the place. The beauty of the beach was unparalleled, and we found ourselves spending a significant amount of time simply admiring the natural splendor. One of the best decisions we made during our stay was opting for the Half board option. It proved to be excellent value for money as the food served was rich in flavors and offered a delightful variety. Each meal was a culinary delight, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the diverse dishes. The restaurant staff were attentive and always ready to assist, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The resort also offered evening discos for kids, which kept our little ones entertained and allowed them to make new friends. Additionally, there were daily activities organized by the kids club, providing a fun-filled experience for our children. They had a great time participating in various games and events, making their stay memorable. To explore the beautiful island of Majorca, we decided to rent a car from Palma Airport. We chose Vanrell as our car rental service, and they provided an excellent experience. The short drive from the airport to Cala Pi was pleasant, and the car proved to be reliable throughout our trip. The only challenge we faced was parking, but we managed to find free spaces every time, so it didn't hinder our exploration of the island.

The breakfast area tended to be crowded, especially during peak hours, which made it difficult to secure a table that could accommodate all of us comfortably. This situation was a bit inconvenient as we had to search for available seats or wait for others to finish their meals before we could find a place to sit together.

The complex is right above the beach, with beautifully maintained gardens, giving coolness and union with nature. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, the staff friendly and responsive. We stayed for a week in a two bedroom apartment and they fulfilled our desire for easy access but also for a nice view. The beds are comfortable, the furniture is made of solid wood and wrought iron - there are traces of their use, but the style and comfort they provide prevails. The restaurant is spacious, with a cool green terrace. The food is plentiful and varied, a large selection of salads, meat, fish (every night 3 types) and vegan dishes. At least 15 types of desserts, even colorful candies for the kids. 😀 A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday! We will be back again. We love you Ona cala pi!

Nothing to stand out. Small things may be found, but they do not matter to the overall assessment.

The hotel is in a rather untouched part of the island, quiet and next to a lovely beach and a scenic trail along the coast leading to another hidden "cala". The rooms are actually apartments equipped with a kitchen and cutlery. We found that very convenient as it allowed us to cook for our big group of nine and not rely on going out for every meal. The hotel has a convenience store with a limited but sufficient variety of food, including bread, some vegetables and fruit. For more options, it's necessary to drive to Llucmajor or other towns nearby. Excellent, massive breakfast was included in the room. It was a buffet including English breakfast, cereals, bread, pastries, pancakes, cold cuts, and fruits.

It is a relatively secluded area of the island. We enjoyed that very much but it also meant that there weren't many options to go out to eat or shopping.

The half-board package was excellent value and we were delighted with the location of our apartment, with a big garden and right beside the pool. The staff did everything they could to ensure we had a great stay. The animation team was also great especially Rafi, Celina and Axis. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food on offer. The place is exceptionally quiet which was great for a family holiday with two children.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. My only criticism is that the apartment wasn't really cleaned while we were there, the team came and changed the beds once. However anytime we requested fresh towels or anything, the team sent them down straight away. One big negative is the cost of basic groceries in the convenience store located within the hotel grounds and operated by the Ona Group. It is the only place you can buy essentials in the local area and it's disappointing that because of this, some of the prices are extortionate. As an example, a pack of nappies are almost 23euro and a carton of milk is 5euro.

Fantastic set up, great apartment, great little kitchen. Lift to the upper floors. Air con in most of the rooms. Two pools. Amazing animation team for the kids. Lots of space. Good convenience shops nearby. Helpful reception. Nice food, good variety. Lots of fresh fruit and salad. So close to a beach in a cove which was stunning. Bus stop. Couple of external restaurants nearby. Would probably rent a car next time, Cala Pi is lovely but little.

Nothing really. Worth noting there are a lot of stairs/steps in the hotel. The beach is down 147 steps which wasn't an issue for most of us but meant my mother wasn't able to go to the beach as she has limited mobility. I missed that info in the write up. The restaurant is also down a long flight of stairs. Relatively small windows for breakfast and evening meal but was fine and lovely food.

All the staff working very hard to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable gor sure specially Reception snd entertainment Only the waitresses need to work on their attitude and put smile on or don't work with people if you don't enjoy 🤭! I would like to say big Thank you for Reception to make my wish came true with the beautiful sea view apartment 🥰so Thank you again!

Waitresses need to work on their attitude!!!!! Unfortunately cala pi beach snd even cala beltran was full of garbage snd plastic in the sea!!!I understand this is not the hot fault and they trying their best to deal with the council to tidy up!

Location is great in terms of beach access, cala pi beach is just 3 mins away. There are not many restaurants around. Area is a bit remote, but we liked that. Apartment is great, you have a huge living room, balcony, speacial room for rack & drying, cosy bedroom and comfy bed. We also had a very good terrace w/ barbeque and sunbeds. Breakfast was nice, (not incredible) but enough for us. Downstairs, there is a small market, you can find many thing. There is a very good pizzeria and another restaurant. All in all, good value for money, if you want to have a chill and remote vacation. We will come back for sure

All the staff - reception, restaurant, maintenance - were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for our needs. There was a washing machine and cooking facilities. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the buffet breakfast was very good - too good for my diet :-)

I don't think anything could have been better for what we wanted. However, a couple of words of warning if you are thinking of coming in high season: 1. Sound travelled a long way (because the hotel, being in a warm climate had no carpets to absorb sound) so noisy people in adjacent rooms would be very annoying. Luckily we only had such neighbours for one night of our holiday. 2. There were two poolside bars which were not open as it was early season. It would be something that I would avoid like the plague had they been open with the subsequent music and crowded pools - so if you prefer quiet like me, worth checking whether or not they would be open for your stay.

Front desk was fantastic, all of them but special shout out to Elena, Luis, and the (German?) woman who's been there for 17 years. The two who ran the Mini disco, Maria and Sammy I believe were great with our toddler and she partied the night away (until 2030). It's a quiet area and quiet hotel at night which is exactly what we wanted. Thanks so much everyone. Also enjoyed the amazing private beach, needs to be seen to be believed, and the breakfast buffet! They have a WhatsApp for communication before arrival and during stay that they are so quick to answer and its so helpful. The room was awesome, totally exceeded expectations, thanks Luis, could have stayed forever, will definitely be back!

As mentioned in previous reviews, yes the apartments are a little dated however they are spacious, clean and everything works. Kitchen had everything we needed including a washing machine. Reception staff were exceptional and I like that they use WhatsApp so you don’t have to keep going there in person. The girls at the pool bar were fantastic- great fun.

Our main disappointment was that the bar in the restaurant closed at 10.30pm and to be honest, the staff there were not that friendly (which was a shame as everyone else was so nice). Most holidays we’ve been on have much later opening times and tend to have a smile on their face. I understand that this is a quiet, family resort but 10.30pm does seem early.
