Location: easy access by car, near the main road, out of the town. Some noise from traffic, but not especially heavy. The hotel has an own restaurant in another building across the street (we dined and food was very good). There are other two restaurants closely. Walking distance (about 5 min) to Termas de Melgaço (Melgaço spa). In Portugal “termas” does not mean thermal baths, just a place with mineral springs. There is a nice park and a pool with different jets and bubbles, open for public. We came there at 10am on Sunday and we had all pool for our disposal for an hour (later four more people came). Ask at reception for 15% discount for the pool. Hotel: has a private poll where you can swim 8h-20h. Room: large, comfortable, equipped with a refrigerator; lighting: would prefer stronger, but enough for reading. Bed: large and comfortable. Bathroom: large, comfortable, large shower cabin, heated, equipped with a regular electric socket. A space to dry your swimsuit. Breakfast: reasonable good, sweets, ham, cheese, juice, no vegetables. WiFi: OK Staff: nice and helpful, we have got free late check-out to enjoy the Termas. Parking: Free private parking. Large, shaded by trees.

Electric sockets in the room: only one available, more electric sockets, especially located near the bed would make the room more comfortable.

Very polite and facilitating staff, AMAZING BREAKFAST where I could enjoy some Portuguese egg tarts, homemade jam, ham, and many other offerings. I absolutely loved it. The coffee was so good as well Clean and well equipped rooms. There's elevator. Next to the hot springs. Highly recommended. Especially for families. I travelled with my 70yo dad and he found it comfortable.

While it was not hard to find, signs for parking lot could be clearer.

Loved the remoteness of this hotel. You need a car or don't stay here. Older hotel with Lovely grounds and pool.

Breakfast was adequate only. Coffee, hardboiled eggs, some fruit, bread, etc. You get what you pay for.

The lady at reception was 5***** and she got out of her way to make steak sandwiches because the kitchen was already closed very much appreciated top lady thank you very much
