Peaceful and private boutique hotel located a short 15 minute walk to central San Sebastián. There are bicycles available although we didn’t use them. We stayed in a garden privilege room (105) which has plenty of space for two people to relax. The decor and general aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful, it’s kept incredibly clean and every member of staff was warm and friendly. JM on the bar made some great recommendations for food and drinks. I proposed to my girlfriend whilst in San Sebastián and they were helpful in arranging champagne on our return. Couldn’t really fault any part of the stay.

15 minute stroll into town and beach. Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Secure onsite parking. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Beautiful building, well managed, professional staff, room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel provides free bicycles for guests to go around the city, which is good touch.

Hotel charges EUR10 per night for car park. Considering it is at hotel's ground and we are paying over 300 per night to stay here, don't think this charge is appropriate. We have read review from elsewhere that parking is free of charge, so we were disappointed.

The room was very cosy, clean and with a touch of attention to every detail. I wouls like to thank cleaning team, the room was always super clean.

Breakfast price and logic behind it. Breakfast price is 20e per person but there is little choice of what you can eat. Also if a 5 year kid orders fried egg they charge the same 20e :) so a child eats 1 egg and a peace of bread and you need to pay full price. This to be said 60e for a breakfast sounds too expensive as well not matching the price. A smell in the room could be improved based on aircondition ventilation. aircondition only hot wind, it felt there was no circulation in the room.

We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the hotel - staff were very welcoming and helpful, the facilities are well maintained, room was very spacious and decorated beautifully, breakfast was nicely done and decent value, on-site parking made it easier with rental car - overall we thought the hotel was the best value for money in San Sebastian.

Nothing really - only point to note is the hotel is about a 15/20 minute walk to old town, but it's easily accessible with buses and taxis if you don't want to walk, and there are also bikes available through the hotel.

nothing it’s just perfect

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The design and the ambiance were just amazing, so classy and sophisticated. Room was clean, newly-renovated, spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast – outstanding. Altogether this was a textbook 5-star experience. They even have evening turn-down service you rarely get at most 5 stars, let alone a 4-star. Can't wait to return!

The only downside is the location not in the city center. Not a problem if you travel by car though. And the hotel is definitely worth this little inconvenience.

The property was beautiful and clean . Everything was just as beautiful as the photos . Everyone was so friendly and helpful . They really go above and beyond for their customers . I never felt so happy at a hotel . I would visit this small town again just to visit Hotel Villa Soro.

Everything was great! If you don’t have a car it could be a commute to get to and from the main areas. But the Hotel itself makes up for it and they also have bikes you can use which is very helpful .

Bonkers food offering … no room service available until bar open anyway, so just from 7.0-11.0pm… given you can’t check in til after 3.0pm and wanting lunch by time you check in we had to walk to local restaurants and then after 4.0 pm so they all closed for lunch service too… when you go out to eat elsewhere in evenings, as restaurants generally don’t open u til 8.30pm, by time you back to hotel it gone 11.0 pm and no drinks available as bar closed … as most of bar food is basic cold/ easy assembly stuff this surely could be offered in daytime too… beautiful immaculate hotel but as lack of any services just lacks soul…. Saved by amazing barman … when we did mange to get back in by 11.0 pm!

Our stay at Villa Soro was a great experience. The design of the hotel is geat and it is a very pleasent (to the eye!) place to be! The staff is extremely helfpul and accomodating, you feel taken care of really well (they call for your cab; the rooms is cleaned during the day; almost every evening we got a sweet surprise to our room). There is an ambient space downstairs where you can relax in comfortable sofas, listen to gentle music, and drink coffee/tea or alcoholic drinks from the bar while browsing though interesting albums they have left there. The hotel is quite close to Zurriola Beach (a c. 10 minutes walk), which is THE destination for sufers, but regular visitor can also have fun jumping thorugh the waves or sun-bathing. The old town is a 20-minutes walk away, which is very convenient - you do not heave to listen to the sounds of the night life but instead can take a walk back to the hotel after a great meal late in the evening. We would definitely recommend this place if you want to relax and be surrounded with nice decor and great people!

Just a minor thing that could be related to personal preferences: The breakfast was tasteful, the staff was accomodating to our needs, though I would prefer a bit more diversity to what is offered.
