Great location with a good range of bars, shops and restaurants starting just outside the entrance. The beach is across the prom and is lovely. The hotel was very clean and well kept, with glass screens separating the hotel grounds from the prom. The pool was great too, 1.4m deep at the shallow end and 2.2m at the deep end. There’s a ramp to allow easy access in the shallow end for people with mobility issues… This town and most of the west coast is still very Spanish and non-commercialised and is we’re they holiday. We didn’t hear another English voice the whole time we were there (July 2022) which made a nice change! Rooms are large enough for 2 people comfortably with a newly refitted wetroom type bathroom. We were B & B only. The breakfast was good with a range of hot and cold dishes. The dining room god very busy later and is open from 8:00am where it was much quieter

You can’t access the pool area until 10:30am which was a shame for days when you’re going out in the afternoon, but you can go across the road and go to the beach and swim in the sea. The evening entertainment was pretty loud and didn’t usually finish until midnight. The entertainment is focused towards the Spanish holidaymakers who are the main clientele. It’s probably worth asking for a room on the pool side of the hotel if you want to get to sleep before then.

The location, Valdelagrana, is very seasonal. We went in end May and found enough testaments open within walking distance but most were offering breakfast, a late lunch at 2 or 3pm and then closing around 5. Later in the summer and especially weekends, they open all evening as well. Sea very close and huge beach. Swimming pool large and outdoor though small heated one in the spa. Good buses. Lovely beach bars open for cocktails watching the sunset. Just remember if you come in winter, evening restaurants are closed.

The hotel was very nice, well located next to the beach and with a nice view from the balcony, the breakfast was varied and delicious

There were ants on the bed, we mentioned this 2 times and the ants kept coming, sadly this was very uncomfortable

The staff was very friendly and helpful, amazingly so. On-site parking and reserved parking for handicapped persons. The premises were spotless, the dining facilities spacious and the food was good, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The swimming pool was large, had an ample number of sun loungers and a nice, large poolside bar. Poolside saxophone music was offered in the morning.

The elevator situation was in shambles. The elevators were too small to accommodate the number of hotel guests and too few. The waiting time was much too long and many guest opted to negotiate the stairways. Although the hotel is a beachfront hotel, you have to walk out to the street, past shops and restaurants before hitting the beach.

In general the hotel was lovely. The reception was really neat and spacious. Had a lovely bar area and next to it the buffet restaurant that had a wide variety of food divided during the week. Direct exit to the beach front and a large pool to chill! Rooms are very spacious, empty minibar which is a plus in my opinion and room cleaning service was very lovely. Safe box for wider security and room keys are made so you can tie around your wrist to avoid loss. It was our first low cost couple holiday and we really appreciated the quality considering the price.

We kind of expected this due to other comments but as we didnt choose beach view, we got a room that faced the parking. We didnt mind the view as expected but we had the balcony just above the truck/maintenance entrace that made lots of noises in the morning when workers passed by. We are not people who tend to be bothered by these things but our hotel neighbours did and complained and got offered a new room. Probably what my partner and I hated the most was the bed quality. My body ached more once waking up that going to sleep after a long day walking. Expect some back pain!

Beautiful big hotel, the location is great, just in front of the beach. The hotel has access to the beach, rooms with balcony facing the beach as request. The breakfast is good, with plenty options for vegan and vegetarians, the restaurant has visibility to the beach as well. The hotel is near the area for the restaurants and bars. Valdelagrana Train Station at 15-20min walk. Nice bar area, with big glass windows, family atmosphere, and the staff is always willing to help. The receptionist are very nice, Irene gave us the welcome and even the hotel was busy at the time we arrived, she helped us with no rush and she is really kind. Miguel gave us a great recommendation to go to Cadiz and explained to us how to get there. (30 minutes in the Catamaran, Ferri, and only €2.50 the ticket). The Supermarket only 5 min walk. Recommendation: take the time to walk the trails in Los Toruños Natural Park, beautiful place.

Our room non-smoking room was 109 which was in an enclosed porch with room 110 where the occupants were constantly smoking weed and strong cigars. This smell travelled into our room when we opened the door . We did not complain as we were out all day and we assumed that the occupants were allowed to be smoking otherwise the smoke alarms would have gone off ! The outdoor pool was closed during our stay even though it was warm weather The indoor pool was not open until 10am on Sundays and cost extra - it should be open so we could swim before breakfast The keycards kept having to be reset which was annoying every time we tried to leave the car park !

I stayed one week and I enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was very tasty. The room was with a wonderful view. I could see the sun rise and sunset and the beach. The beach fine sands a few steps and the Railwaystation to Seville and Cadiz about 10 minutes walk. One night we had a concert. But all the other nights I heard only the waves if the Alantic. Many restaunts on the Boardwalk. Mostly Spanish guests. I think you will like it.

Breakfast and location:

Pool area needs work. The Pool bar needs to offer more service, food and create more atmosphere: Build out the chairs etc versus people find there own: Use the grass area better that was empty, put a sandpit for volleyball in or beach football as an example: Put an outdoor gym in as well and I would put a swim lane in from 8am to 10am for people to train.. The evening meal needs to be more selections, like offer a BBQ one night a week? The room for a family was a little small and offer room service and also I would make sure in the Lobby you need a person to loo after trips, simple customer questions, having to que with a ticket was a little crazy.

The breakfast and lunch were exceptional, the buffet was really variate and all the food was amazing. Also, the room had excellent views. The hotel was in a very good location, in 1st line of beach. Also, congrats to the lovely animators and entertainment guys from the pool!

The shower was very modern, but water was likely to spill across the bathroom floor when showering. Also, the little gel bottle amenities barely produced soap. Not a huge problem, but it would be nice if it was changed and if more amenities were added, such as a shampoo and conditioner, or a little nail file.
