Breakfasts, lots of plants, very elegantly, nice garden and hotel , big room with view over see , we slept very well in large bed , friendly and helpful stuff , always with smile of their face,

in our opinion everything was on the high level except pool.. we don’t know if it was filter system issue, but the water was full of “garbage” - hairs, tissues, and some other objects. In the corner on the surface floated fine dust or kind of sediment . ( it was short after the pool was cleaned by the hotel service with kind of net on the stick ) the second issue is, that people don’t take shower before entering to the pool, we count only 4 guests who did took a shower. It should be obligatory to do this. I know that the pool is chemically cleaned , although it felt unhygienic . Maybe clear information about taking shower hanging in each corner of the pool should help . Otherwise people dont care :(

The food was very good especially the fish and meat cooked on order. They have an indoor pool so if it is a bit colder than expected one can use that pool to still get some swimming done. The sea-view room has a wonderful view of the strait of Gibraltar on clear days and also the coast of Africa was visible...spectacular!

The beach was not very nice but we visited at the beginning of May so it was also not possible to swim (waves and cold water). The hotel is situated far from the center of Estepona. So it is not possible to reach downtown by foot. This hotel is good if you just want to relax and stay by the pool. However, if you want to visit places they do have field trip options.

Unfortunately we did not have half board only breakfast, although we believed this had all been sorted. We emailed you on quite a few occasions to try to sort it out, but you did not answer, we ended up having to pay 60 euros for our evening meal. We had to leave early due to a premedical condition, the front desk staff were excellent, and even refunded the payment which was an overpayment due to only spending a week at the hotel instead of the three weeks we paid for, cannot fault them.

Lovely welcome and the hotel has a faded grandeur. Room huge and great view of the sea. Nice private beach, loved the indoor pool and sunbathing deck. Breakfast is great, vast selection to suit everyone

The hotel is massive, and didn’t quite feel 5 star. It’s clean but a bit dated, and also a taxi ride from anywhere. Fine if you want to spend your holiday by the pool and eating in but probably better if you have a car to explore the area. There was also a lot of mosquitos. Got to the point we couldn’t open the patio door but think they might have come in the air con. Not sure if it was a one off.

Staff very friendly, we got a room upgrade on behalf of the hotel and all i can say is they are the best. Room massive clean and bed was very comfortable. Food was excellent drinks all good. Pool was really nice and big there is also an adult pool up top which was amazing too if you'd like some quiet time. Spa was also amazing i totally recommend. I will defiantly come back to this amazing hotel :)

What I didn't like was people getting the sunbeds before hand and leaving the towels if they are going to the pool its ok. Problem is that some never got to the pool all day. And unfortunately leaving some guests without any sunbeds that's the only thing I didn't like.

On arrival Linda on reception upgraded us to a lovely seaview suite as we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and had prosecco delivered to our room on the day. Thank you. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options. Loved the costal path right outside at the back of the hotel, great for running and walking, plenty of free parking available. Hotel is well kept and clean. Estepona old town is wonderful, full of charm, great restaurants, bars, café's and shopping. We had a great stay and look forward to going back.

The beach outside the hotel is stoney and unusable but the lovely Playa del Cristo beach is only 1 mile away.

Excellent room, with a large comfortable bed and an excellent view from the balcony. The balcony was a real highlight. Breakfast was also good. The spa was a real selling point for the hotel, and we enjoyed using it daily!

The hotel could definitely use an upgrade / facelift overall. It felt a bit tired and dated, and things like the TV in the room are not what I would expect from a modern 5 star hotel. It was also a surprise that the use of the spa is not included as complimentary for guests at the hotel - given the cost, this was frankly disappointing.

the hotel is comfortable, very spacious rooms, bathrooms, large beds, large corridors. the heated pool on the top is really good to have especially in the cold months or raining days. staff is helpful at the reception. parking is ok. location is next to beach and a very nice path along the seashore on which jogging is a must :) There is always cava available for breakfast.

location is farer from city center or port, you would need a car or taxi to access it. Breakfast is poor for a 5* and monotonous. Maybe the terrace and the restaurant from first floor could be used for breakfast, it would be very nice. there were lots of mosquitos, we asked for more devices in our room. rooms are a bit outdated, but they have a charm. the lobby and bar area is not very cosy. not many possibilities to eat dinner in the hotel. the spa needs a renovation.

Beautiful views from our room. The adults only Al a cart restaurant was very good and the staff was fantastic. Our room was large and the balcony rail was low enough to see the view while sitting down.

It’s very spread out and the elevators on the opposite end of the hotel from the restaurant do not get you to the restaurant floor. It’s absolutely not accessible for handicapped individuals. I made an appointment at the spa and could not get to the actual location for my manicure. Finally, the signage is poorly done. I had to be on the right elevator to find any signage for the location needed.

Staff, facilities, pool and dinning area,spa, room and view, breakfast choice was great.

Walk to the room ! Access to the breakfast area in the morning, sign would be a good idea. The pineapple at the bar was old and when my wife had a piña colada a piece was used, it was over ripe ! As you use fresh pineapple for breakfast it should be possible to put a new one in the bar everyday and use the bar one for that days breakfast, simple solution. DETAIL…. Shower taps were very confusing, took me ages to figure them out. Sign would help. We were not advised upon arrival that Spa area was freely available during stay and treatments/massages were the only charges, it was also not stated in the Spa leaflet. Leaflets in rooms should be in the guests language if possible.
