The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the train station and close to some good restaurants. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Looking onto a narrow side street meant we had no view, but it was quiet at night, ensuring undisturbed sleep. Breakfast was waiter service with an extensive menu to choose from.

I would have prepared a self-service breakfast buffet where I could choose the quantities I wanted. Also it would have been good to have had a selection of breads, rolls, cheeses etc. The only bread options on the menu were white rolls/toast or croissants.

The Casa Consistorial is a fantastic/ fabulous hotel. We have been to all the great cities of Spain, and this is the greatest hotel by far. We loved it. It's not too big and not too small. The staff are very professional and friendly, they make you feel at home. The rooftop pool is amazing, and beds for everyone. Carmel and I loved it, and we will be back. We would also like to thank the manager and staff for the lovely gesture of the bottle of champagne for our 50th anniversary. It was totally unexpected but much Appreciated xx.

Staff at the reception and room cleaning team are the invaluable asset to this hotel. The people who work at this hotel made our stay so welcoming and warm, we are extremely grateful to their effort in making us feel at home! I would rate the staff of this hotel 10! The breakfast was not buffet, one needs to make order and be served by a staff, which could be a slow process if you are on a tight schedule to go out. However the kitchen does a good job on the hot food. The room size is on the small side however sufficient for what we were looking for. Bathroom was always clean. Location is a 10 star too - walking distance to everywhere, 3 mins walking to the beach front. Overall, it's a very classy hotel. We'll come back to stay many times for sure!

comfortable rooms, clean towels every day and bath robes. we have stayed here before, and prefer previous rooms but this room was good, not as plush as the others we have had.

the pool terrance was being maintained when we stayed so couldn't use the terrace on some days. but appreciate the hotel is maintaining the property, hope next time we can use the terrace.

Staff were extremely helpful at front desk and very accommodating. It was like coming home, we had a great stay last visit too. Balconies are small but the location is really great for centre of town, transport links and beach. We had a fantastic short break and will be returning again. Lovely terrace at front to drink or dine and watch the world go by. All staff encountered were very friendly and helpful and great sense of humour too. Keep up the great work and hope to see you again soon!

500 yards from the train station and right in the centre of town in a nice square . Bar next door which was very handy . Plenty of places to eat nearby - more expensive nearer to the sea but head behind to the local bars and cheaper places . Great little breakfast cafe down the side steet to the left selling tostados and churros very cheaply . Nice rooftop pool and you could order drinks and food to be delivered . We stayed room only it was very peaceful for sleeping and the beds were very comfy . Plenty of toiletries restocked daily . Minibar and good tv with lots of English channels . would recommend for anyone who is looking to explore the area and wants access to public transport .

Location is excellent for access to town beaches restaurants bars cafes etc and further afield places you may like to visit when away Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly

Weather wasn't great on our trip so wouldn't have used pool but we viewed the amenities there and as we read on trip advisor it is in need of some TLC would expect to be more welcoming for price paid Stayed in suite and it was lovely could imagine even better in sunshine 2 small but welcoming balconies to sit out If I was really picky for the price it would be good to have a bigger TV in at least one of the rooms and ideally a jacuzzi bath would complement the great size bathroom just a a little dated for the charge but all in all super stay would definitely return and recommend Many thanks and great helpful staff in all departments we encountered

The hotel is great. Quick check-in and great cleaning every day. The suite on the top floor is 5*. Two balconies overlooking the city. The suite is spacious, clean and modern. Refridgerator, complimentary water, coffee, the rituals products in bathroom. The swimmingpool is clean, but not heated. The swimmingpool-area and restaurant are both in need of an upgrade. Big bed, a bit on the hard side. Lots of space in wardrobe.

The only things that could be better: -Wifi is unstabile -water pressure in shower -no tissuebox in bathroom -no qtips in bathroom -no iron -door would not close properly

the location, the ease of booking on booking.com and the size of the room. we got the largest we could afford.

the shower temperature fluctuates wildly. it’s is warm for a couple of minutes then extremely hot then extremely cold then back to warm. this repeats until you give up and leave. the room next door was full of loud and drunk old people who came banging around at 4am. the hotel should lock such people out on the street. the breakfast needs a much more affordable small option of coffee and a pastry, the huge cost for a huge breakfast is not for everyone. the pool is tiny and some might think it more akin to a large bath. the Wi-Fi is so complicated, you’d need a degree in computer science from Leister Polytechnic. all in all, it looks like the very best hotel possible in the area. everything else looked worse.

Beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. The location is good, with just a short stroll to reach the seafront and beach. Our room was spacious, clean and fresh every day. Our son, daughter-in-law we’re very impressed and the staff were very good with our little grandsons. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everyone who worked at the hotel were very kind, pleasant and helpful. We would give Casa Consistorial a 10/10 score.
