We were absolutely delighted with the hotel/apartment. As a family of 5 the room was spacious enough, very clean and had everything needed for a February midterm break. The shopping centre next doors was very convenient and Fuengirola city centre/bus and train station just a short walk away. The staff was helpful and friendly. We didn’t eat at the premises, but our morning coffees were delicious.

There is a busy highway outside the hotel that may have bothered us had we been trying to relax by the pool, but with February being slightly cooler, we were happy to be out and about so it didn’t bother us.

Everything was excellent especially now there is a bustop to the centre right outside. Only 1.20 for a round trip !

Smooth check in. Safe in room £3.25 per day plus £5.00 deposit. Good location near Myramar Shopping Centre where you had a supermarket apart from all kinds of shops like Primark etc. Big shower nice bathroom. Big balcony with room for 4 chairs, table and a drying rack. Kitchenette has 2 rings for cooking, kettle, microwave. Cutlery, plates, mugs, small casserole, frying pan were provided. etc. TV in living room with sofa beds a small table and 4 chairs. No TV in bedroom Big pool plus a childrens pool. Activity team had a childrens club and they provided activities and games to adults also. Pool opens at 10 and they have it closed by a gate no one can go in until then. They have a cafeteria by the pool.

Towels provided in bathroom could have been bigger, they were too small and I am small! No parking available on hotel site. The only parking was in the shopping centre just on the doorstep of the hotel. There could have been another TV in the bedroom. There is a small fridge in the kitchenette but it does not have a freezer, this could be provided as you could buy ice creams for children and put them there.

Our apartment was great. The beds were extremely comfortable, a well equipped kitchen, fluffy towels, lots of pillows and very clean. Great facilities in the complex, including a fantastic games room, the bar had a good selection of food and drinks, pool area very clean and the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly.

There was a horrid sewerage smell in the bathroom most of the time, quite disgusting. There could be a couple more items included in the kitchen, like a spatula for stirring, a pair of scissors and a grater. Mixed feelings about location of our room as we had a first floor apartment looking out on the road, not a great view of traffic and a bit noisy, but our balcony had the sun all day which was lovely.

Rooms were well appointed. Facilities were good. Location was good

Pool was over crowded as there wasn’t a separate kids pool but this is what I would expect at busy times so not a surprise. I would open the pool earlier than 10am to allow early risers a chance to swim before it gets busy. Although the bar staff were lovely, their job was made harder than it should be by its ineffective layout. They were having to make several trips around the bar area to make just one cocktail. If all the ingredients were laid out in front of them and closer to hand the bar would run more efficiently

The hotel is a comfortable walk from the main area along the promenade, which has many bars and restaurants all the way. The staff are all exceptional and very attentive. Pool is good and the poolside bar serves drinks and good snacky meals during the day. The main bar serves breakfast and light meals all well priced and everything thing we ate was very good. The rooms are basic yet comfortable with everything you need. We have stayed here 5 times which should be recommendation enough!

On balance for the cost I think the hotel is very good!

Everything was clean and tidy, excellent location, staff were really friendly and helpful. We've stayed 6 times and will visit again. The lady on the desk booked us on a trip to Ronda which was lovely. There is a great shopping centre 5 minutes walk away with a carrefour if you're self catering, coffee shops etc. The bus and train station are about 40 minutes walk, the sea front is 500m away

The road can be a bit noisy but didn't effect us. Needs a plug near a mirror and the extractor fan sticking out above the fridge was a bit dangerous when getting stuff out of the fridge for a tall person

2 bed apartment was very spacious and kitchenette was sufficient to make breakfast /lunch. Kids loved the football area but no kids club on which was disappointing. (Irl&uk midterm) it’s right beside massive shopping Center and bus stop right outside front door, although we enjoyed the walk to bars/restaurants.

Everything was perfect apart from some construction noise as they were working on kids pool.

The facilities are great, my family enjoyed everything- pools, games room and kids playground Balcony view especially from before sunset is fabulous and being able to hear the entertainment from the outdoor restaurant downstairs, it’s like party in your own balcony l👍🏻 Having a big mall next to it is fantastic!

Just minor things for improvement : It needs more kitchenware like peeler, medium pan with lid, serving spoons, trays, etc Also the freezer is not working. Food in the restaurant needs to be upgraded like steak needs onions and peppercorn sauce, fish and chips needs peas and burgers need to be Burger King taste being a restaurant. It will be nice to have a free shuttle bus in few locations such as hotel to Marbella, etc

We had a fabulous stay at Fuengirola Beach Apartments, we would definitely stay here again in future! We traveled for my mums 50th Birthday with my dad and sister (age 20) as well as my fiancé (age 24) and sisters boyfriend (age 19) and there was plenty to do at the hotel as well as in the area. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with sofa beds in living area and had plenty of space. The entertainment team were great and all bar staff was lovely, food was also great. The shopping centre was amazing as well right beside the hotel. Overall we had a great time!

Slightly further out from bars and restaurants but we didn’t mind the walk in the evenings but just something to be aware of.
