We chose this hotel based on previous reviews as well as a secure parking facility for €15. The hotel is conveniently located to all attractions which are all walking distance. A very warm welcome from the staff on reception. A lovely restaurant with beautifully presented dishes. We stayed in one of the superior rooms on the 6th floor. The room is well appointed to a very high standard, with an enormous terrace which had a shade too. A well appointed bathroom, comfortable beds and great WiFi throughout the hotel.

There is nothing to dislike about the room and hotel in general.

Very clean and friendly staff and was close proximity to everything

After a very long drive to get to the hotel, to find we have no milk in our room. Mentioned to reception they said you need to go to restaurant, no one wanted to take responsibility and all we wanted was some milk. In your policy about dogs if you need to clean your dog do not use the towels in your room ask reception and they will give you a towel . Asked at reception to be told you use the ones in your room. At 8.30 am a cleaner decided to come into our room, didn’t knock first, just walked in and the cleaner tried again at 9 am. We then put the do not disturb sign on the door. Other than these minor issues the room was outstanding, but it’s these minor issues that need addressing

Mediocre hotel, rather drab but served our purposes. We had a terrace over looking the cathedral. Near to train station. We were able to eat in the restaurant when other restaurants hard to find in this town and waitresses very friendly and helpful.

Noisy terrace, an air conditioner, but we didn't use ours?? Also seating on terrace had not been cleaned for a while as bird droppings there each day. Breakfast lacking fruit/ vegetable options and I found the coffee rather bitter. And the pool had been closed since the 15th September by order of the town hall! ( despite temperatures of 30 C)

We were lucky that we arrived on a weekend afternoon and so parking on the road outside the hotel was free. The hotel is in an excellent location opposite a beautiful little park and close to the old town and its restaurants and Tapas bars. The gentleman on reception was very helpful and informative and he gave us a city map which he duly marked up with all of the local attractions. The room was very nice indeed with probably one of the largest terraces I have ever seen. There was a nice view over the park and although the terrace contained both a table and chairs and two sunbeds there was still room to hold a dance if you wanted to. The local restaurants are all very good and we chose a cozy Tapas bar around the corner where the food was very reasonably priced and exceptional.

Cannot fault this hotel at all. The staff are exceptional. My friend and I were on motorcycles and I have a bad back. The concierge assisted us with parking in the underground garage which can be dodgy for a motorcycle. The food in the restaurant was first class. A small swimming pool helped us cool off the day, a rarity in the middle of a main town. On departure the same concierge helped us to clear the parking ramp and helped with our bags.

Can't fault anything.

The hotel was good and the room was one of the largest I have stayed in so far! Must have been my best night of sleep ever! (apart from at home lol) Staff was extremely friendly (a big contrast with the people in town).

Breakfast was a little basic, and I don't know if it was us, but we felt a bit like outsiders, with other hotel guests staring at us during breakfast because we weren't Spanish. We felt the same kind of animosity in the town proper, so even though the hotel was great, the region was not so much (unfortunately)

Very pleased that this 4* hotel accepted dogs and made provisions. Location was excellent being adjacent to a superb park and just minutes walk into the town centre. The staff were excellent. Noting that we had an electric car we were offered an opportunity to charge our car, brilliant. Prices were the same or lower than public chargers.

Significantly more expensive than our others hotels but to be fair, this was a step above.

Comfortable option for a short-term stay, our room on the upper floor was quiet. We haven’t booked room with a breakfast, but bought it separately in the hotel’s cafe, it was handy.

We were somewhat dissapointed by the terrace, it was very large, but was not very cozy and furniture was outdated. There is only paid parking next to the hotel.

The crib mattress was a bit sunken

Loved this hotel. Didn’t get off to a good start as the reception area was packed and very noisy (in fact it was bedlam) I couldn’t hear what the receptionist was saying. I asked about parking (my husband was double parked outside the hotel) next thing the receptionist just walked off!! He had gone outside and was directing my hubby to their car park. We intended having lunch but the gaggle of people had disappeared and I asked if they’d gone to the dining room - they had! Anyway we did still go to check it out and decided to risk it- glad we did. Very nice lunch made even more enjoyable by Ricardo the head waiter/ restaurant manager (between his little English and my very little Spanish we couldn’t quite find the correct translation). He helped with wine selections and did an excellent job. Our room was fabulous, very spacious with settee and side table. Comfy beds. Great bathroom with bath and overhead shower plus a massive walk in shower.

Small criticism, the towels were small…. Even in much lower graded hotels you get bath sheets but here it was (what nowadays seem old fashioned) bath towels.
