This hotel was spotlessly clean even all the communal areas and toilets. Breakfast was slightly reparative but nothing wrong with it at all. Staff all very friendly. Pool area and view across the marina excellent. We travelled as a couple and really enjoyed the peace of this location nestled on the side of the cliffs higher up but beware there are a lot of steps to get down into the town. Wouldn’t be use for anyone with mobility issues but I managed fine 7 months pregnant. Not too strenuous. We also loved that you got access to the sister hotel across the road too. Nice to mix things up. It has an amazing infinity pool, adults only area as well and a great jetty with seating for sunset.

There is a road that runs across the front of the hotel which you can hear traffic from at the pool area but honestly this would be looking to pick fault. Really nice stay. You can always pop your music on if the sound of traffic bothers you.

Really beautiful building and views. Always clean and relaxing. The staff are really friendly. The apartment style room I had was incredible and had everything we could need.

Only tiny downside is that breakfast is 8-11, which was a rush to eat when we had early trips. However, they do offer a take away option which you can order the day before. However, I never used it. They also don’t offer dinner and the bar closes at 6pm. Fortunately I’m not a drinker so wasn’t an issue for me. There are LOADS of bars, restaurants and pubs in walking distance so I advise you to get out of the hotel and see the area!!

The room was amazing. The view over the sea and the marina.

I hadn’t realised it didn’t have a restaurant for evening meals. As a solo traveller it’s sometimes a struggle to motivate myself to go and find somewhere for dinner. This hotel was more of an apart-hotel and had self catering facilities. So it was fine, but I’d have preferred a restaurant to dine in, and take in the sea views. The breakfasts are really good. And the BBQ on a Friday is essential. But the lack of evening options for the rest of the week came as a surprise. It does get busy too around the sun bed / pool area. Thankfully the amazing balcony I had solved any issue.

Loved almost everything about the Bayview Marina Suites. The place is spotlessly clean, the apartments have everything you’d need for a short stay including Iron & board, hairdryer, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, bathrobe, slippers… The welcome at reception was lovely and they couldn’t be more helpful. We were able to check into our room early. The sun loungers were very comfortable and available so no getting up early to put towels down which was a lovely experience. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choice and laid out well. Service was excellent and staff were all extremely friendly and nothing was a problem. Petra and Annabelle made a special effort to chat to us which was lovely. The service was outstanding. We tried the paella which wasn’t to our liking but other than that the food was all excellent. We attended the BBQ night and the selection was great and flavours were delicious. The chefs were friends and constantly making sure the food was plentiful and clearing up any spills by customers. We will definitely be back.

The only thing we would prefer is a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together. The beds were comfortable but a preference for us is a double.

Lovely reception staff, a glass of cava on arrival and a bottle of cava in the room. Very clean and pretty property and in a nice location, 10 mins walk to main Puerto Rico beach. Nice selection of restaurants and an Irish Bar and supermarket right next door. Everyone we spoke to at the hotel loved the place, including us. Would go back.

Not quite enough space around the pool and they do not remove towels which have been left on empty beds. They really need to do this to give everyone a chance of getting an umbrella if they need one. The steps up to the property are pretty punishing but this can't be helped.

Both the rooms and the common areas were very clean and well maintained. The facilities were great, and we spent lots of time in the pool, sun beds and the jacuzzi. Beautiful view, and great sun conditions. The breakfast was enjoyable and had a good variety. The personal were overall very kind, helpful and service minded. In all, a great resort we would certainly recommend!

The beds (meaning there were two separate beds placed next to each other) were not the most comfortable and they were sliding from each other, which made it impossible to cuddle during the night. The bathroom was small, and the floor got wet when we used the shower, but nothing a small towel couldn't prevent :) Also lots of stairs to climb to get to the resort, but that was just a nice exercise.

All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped and the breakfast was lovely with loads of choice. We had a welcome "is everything OK" call on the second day and there was a small welcome pack in the apartment which was topped up half way through the holiday. The maintenance team all said hi when you went past and the breakfast team commented that it was our last day - it was these little touches which made our stay that little bit special. We also had chocolate and a card on Valentines Day. Yes, there are a lot of steps, wth extra up to our "deluxe" room as it was the furthest away, but it was good exercise! The Gym was small but adequate with a great view and we enjoyed the lunches which we had. Veggie options were good. Wifi worked everywhere apart from in our bedroom and the main tv was updated while we were there. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday and will defintely return.

There was nothing to dislike.

The facilities at the hotel are really super - we especially enjoyed the Bali-beds and Jacuzzi where you could enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were really friendly and professional. The personal touches, welcome drinks and pool-side popcorn really took it to the next level. The steps to the hotel really aren't that bad; just take your time, but staying at this hotel makes it worth it - it's like a small oasis at the top of the hill.

To nitpick a bit - the warm breakfast dishes could be warmer, and the wardrobe in the room should be reconsidered as it makes the space a bit tight.

Lovely hotel, in a great location with amazing views of the marina, all the staff were extremely helpful and really nice. Had breakfast there twice was good, good choice of foods, had lunch was amazing and great value for money!

Only downside is not all the beds by the pools have cushions and were extremely uncomfortable. Also only being able to get clean pool towels between 09:30-10:30 am.

The location was great, a little walk out of main Puerto Rico was peaceful and quiet, and only 10 min walk into the centre of Puerto Rico was perfect for us. The apartment and balcony was amazing and the pool bar was excellent too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family as it was luxury. The view was absolutely brilliant, and the friendly staff were very helpful in any questions we had.
