Great location for exploring the area on foot - not a high up as some of the hotels so no steep steps to climb (just a bit of a hill via the pavement). Very close to the main coach stop. The apartments are quite basic but have everything you need. The terraces are enormous which we really appreciated, so it's comfortable to sunbath there in privacy if you prefer it to around the pool.

The pool is small but fine - however it's in shade most of the day because of the high fence at the front of the property. We didn't think it was very necessary for privacy: you can see into lots of the hotel pools areas as you walk around the area, and if it's a choice of having a screen or a sunny poolside area, I think the latter argument wins the day.

Excellent apartments, well laid out in a great location not far from the Commercial centre, Bus Station and beach. Very little noise heard from centre below. The well equipped apartments have all you need for a comfortable stay, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and 2 ring hob with ample pots, frying pan, plates, cups cutlery and glasses of all kinds. Carmelo the manager met us at the entrance and was very helpful during our stay if we needed him, cleaning staff were very thorough and respectful whilst doing their job. We had a fabulous apartment with a terrace on the ground floor (105) and had access directly to the pool and sun most of the day. Apartments are very modern and have WiFi, flat screen TV and air conditioning as standard which is great for longer stays (we stayed 11 days) Beds are very comfortable with good pillows and plenty of storage in bedroom. There is a mini market inside the foyer which is quite well equipped, great for heavy items such as water, large bottles of drinks etc, saves carrying from supermarket. There is a Hiperdino just up the road if needed, well stocked. There's a billiard table in the foyer too if you want to relax inside, we met some lovely people whilst chilling there! The complex is a small family run business. Absolutely top marks for Carmelo. He is friendly, helpful, and has the best communication. Any queries answered very promptly. The apartment is cosy and spotless. Good shower and comfortable beds. The balcony is a good size with sun loungers and a table and chairs. Very cute Courtyard. Water and some other item's in reception which is great. Perfect location right between the beach and centre. Would definitely come back.

Carmelo, was excellent and always very helpful. We had asked , if possible, to check in early. Carmelo emailed to say if there was an early checkout he would do what he could. Thankfully for us, he was able to have a room available. Location was perfect. A short walk from the bus station, however an uphill slope which was a challenging enough. A small complex which was perfect for us . A supermarket a short walk away and also essentials available on site. Beach less than a ten minute walk.

The pool was quite deep and you couldn't stand up. Sometimes it was difficult to get a sun bed in the sun as the area was quite limited . But we had a large terrace from our room with sunbeds, which was perfect.

Great location, excellent friendly staff, especially Carmelo,air con was much needed, beautiful quiet spot for a relaxing holiday.Very well appointed apartment, everything you needed was there, spacious balcony with sunbeds ,sun all day.Very little noise from the centre but yet close enough still to walk to.Will definitely return.

The apartments are centrally located and only 5 minutes from a supermarket, the bus station, post office and within 10 minutes from the beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable, it was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen plus a hairdryer and iron. Ruby and Anna visited every day to take away rubbish and clean as required. Air conditioner and TV free, also WiFi routers in each apartment so service was as good as at home. The owner exceeded my expectations and was very kind in helping me with a personal issue. I think perhaps the attention to detail and provision of service is so good because it is a smaller apartment block and not just staff doing their job. I would highly recommend Monte Verde to other visitors to Puerto Rico.

I cannot think of anything that could have been better. The apartment ticked all my boxes for a holiday home from home.

Carmelo was very welcoming,an helpful and kind host. We loved the apartment(304)it was very clean and spacious,the perfect size for a couple. The terrace was amazing, for the occasional lazy morning sunbathing session,for a quiet dinner under the moon or in my case for sleeping under the stars... As for the location,it is close to the bus station, and trust me you got to try the bus(Public transportation actually works in Gran Canaria), there is little supermarket within a 5 minutes walk. From the apartments you can reach Playa Puerto Rico in 5 minutes, and with a little more walking(a scenic route i posted a photo) you will arrive at Playa de Amadores and it's a fantastic...

This is the second time I have visited these apartments this time I stayed on ground floor facing pool perfect morning view. The staff are so friendly and welcoming again free safe hairdryer apartments modern and clean with all appliances you need. The main reason I love these apartments they are so peaceful no noise from the main centre and in the apartments themselves. You are just behind the bus station so perfect for main centre and beach. The price is so cheap for the apartments plus that bonus of air conditioning I cannot beat it anywhere.

Very good location. Close to the local beach and the shopping center where you can find plenty of restaurants but its also very quiet at night. Its a nice and small recently renovated apartment complex. The host Carmelo is very friendly and helpful gentleman. Any questions or small issues that we had during our stay were quickly fixed and resolved. The pool is relatively small but the local beach is only few mins away. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

Few extra pieces of cutlery and an extra pot/pan would be nice as there's very limited amount of it in the apartment.

Second stay here and just as perfect as the first time! Carmelo is a fantastic host, his communication is quick, friendly and nothing is too much hassle for him. The apartments are very clean, air con included and fantastic balconies with plenty of room for sunbathing and dining. The complex is quiet, with a well kept and cool pool. The location of the apartments is also very good, 2 mins from the bus station, less than 10 to the commercial centre and just over 10 to the harbour. Such good value for money and we will definitely back again! Thanks for another top stay Carmelo 😊
