A beautiful hotel in the perfect location! the views were exceptional. From check in to check out the staff were brilliant, so kind and professional! Particularly when we spoke to them about staying extra nights as our flight had been cancelled! They also offer late check out well in to the evening for €50 which is great with the late night flights! The breakfast, the food at the pool bar and the drinks were of great selection and fresh! and pretty cheap which made it all the better! The entire hotel was spotlessly clean with cleaners always on hand to mop up any mess left behind! And finally, the pool….the most beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea/marina. There was never a problem getting a sun bed no matter the time we arrived down at and plenty of umbrellas and day beds available if we needed to seek salvation from the sun! This was my first trip to Marina Suites and Gran Canaria, but it definitely won’t be my last! And I most certainly will be telling everyone who’ll listen that they HAVE to come here!

The ONLY downside in comparison to how fabulous this hotel is, was the lifts. 3 lifts for 9 floors often meant a small wait, but if you can manage the stairs it’s no problem at all!

Absolutely amazing hotel with super friendly and hardworking staff. Breakfast was excellent value for money and had a nice scandinavian touch. There is a really relaxed vibe even at busy times at the pool. My kids really enjoyed the kids club and the little goody bag and toy that was left for them. Arriving to a nice bottle of wine and water that was left in the room really made us feel welcome. The adult only area is a great idea. The whole hotel is well designed and thought through. I have already booked to come back in May.

I was told that there used to be a little shop for essentials at the hotel. I think it might be worth looking into having one again

What a perfect place to stay! I had planned to just use it as a “base” but quickly changed my plans once I got there because it was lovely just to enjoy the facilities and relax! Breakfast was a great, fresh selection; the staff were all wonderful and the room was more than perfect: comfortable, really spacious, clean and brilliantly appointed. I travel quite a lot and this is now one of my favourites and knocks many of the 5* hotels I’ve stayed in into a hat. Self catering in a well equipped hotel is the perfect combination! I will be back for sure!

More time there!

The hotel itself felt like being in a vacation! The vibe, the facilities, the staff, the infinity pool, they were all perfect.It was so relaxing and inviting to spend time at he pool, the beach bar had many tasty lunch options, and the fine dining restaurant on the premises is really great, totally recommend it. We never spent so much time within the hotel premises as we did here, really excellent service!

The hotel is a very old one, which looks like it has been recently renovated. However the renovation looks quite shallow as the airing systems are old, the fridge in the room was falling apart, the elevator was slow and very small, the pain work was quite clumsy on the doors, the bedroom door was not closing properly.. I love that management had sustainability in mind and made old things work but I think in some cases with with a little more attention to detail the thing would have have been much better. Obviously, this does not change the fact that everything else felt great there and we had an amazing time and would surely go back one day. :)

Food at the pool bar was lovely and very reasonable and very good portion size,staff were lovely .could not fault any member of staff,girls at reception so helpful and friendly ,would definitely return .we had a deluxe suite and it was like being in a villa

car park outside hotel could be subsidised if hiring a car that would be great.people were still reserving sun loungers as soon as pool opened and not returning for a few hours which you’re not meant to be able to do

Everything! The staff were just so lovely and helpful ..all the time ....they couldn't do enough for us. Our suite was just perfect....every room was large and bright...and it was fully equipped with everything we could want ...from hair straighteners to scissors to coffee maker. Bed was huge ...and very comfy. Room had a safe .....an iron and board ...... It was just perfect.

Perhaps a walk in shower.....it was over the bath .

The hotel is very welcoming with lovely, friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing and highly recommended! I particularly liked the infinity pool which is heated. I also really appreciated the fact that the hotel is making a real effort to be eco friendly and this should be commended. The rooms were very spacious, more like a 1 bed apartment. There were lots of nice little touches like welcome drinks, a voucher for drinks at the pool bar and also a bottle of wine in the room, which make the stay that bit more special. The location is also great - it feels like a world away from the other resorts in Puerto Rico which are practically stacked on top of each other!

The rooms were a little on the pricey side. The sea view from our room was not a complete sea view - you can also see the harbour which is a bit ugly. There were 2 single beds joined together which is not ideal given that we had booked a room with a double bed.

The property is very well maintained and clean. The apartment was spacious and we enjoyed having a big bedroom and a living room/kitchen to relax in the evening. The kid’s club hours were limited (mid November) and staff was excellent! Both restaurants were very nice - the poolside bar for lunch was casual and had a lot of options. The formal restaurant for evening was definitely pricy but very good! The views are stunning!

The location was in the marina and we did not find the restaurants in the area very good. Ultimately after a week of trying we wished we had just eaten at the restaurant in our resort more!

I have stayed here before. Rooms are spacious, feel fresh and clean, all facilities you would require. beautiful infinity pool. Good location for all bars, restaurants and shops and bus station near to explore other areas

The property was lovely. My only disappointment was paying for the safe on arrival but had to pay again on departure as was not in system. I ‘know’ I paid this on arrival as I remember placing 4 x 10 euro notes on the counter. I have disputed this on departure but got nowhere. Very disappointing as I did pay this.

Very clean & chic hotel, well run & maintained in a beautiful + quiet location with good gym, daily morning seaside excercise classes, lovely staff, lots of welcome activities. Rooms with balconies on ocean view are worth the extra for the romantic sunsets each day and luxury feel. The beachside pool area is to die for. Fits adults only and families equally well with combination of privacy and organised activities. Given this description, the clientele were respectful of the hotel ambience, and we loved it. 10/10.
