Booked this at a great price to stay over for new year. Apartments exceeded expectations considering the price we paid. Spacious, modern rooms with massive balconies, the views of the beach and sunset are spectacular and the views up the centre at night were great. The maids were constantly cleaning everywhere around the hotel and left the rooms spotless. Showers in the rooms were powerful and always warm. The hotel staff left a bottle of water in the fridge for us, cleaning liquid, and soap in the bathroom. The WiFi was free and I had no problems apart from signing back in each day, streaming Netflix no problem. The pool area is well maintained with a safety barrier around for children. Pool bar has very reasonable priced drinks, happy hour twice a day is an added bonus (2 pints for €2.50) Food here is nice, and perfect for snacks, breakfast is cheap, tasty, and has the most amazing views over the bay. All of the staff in this aparthotel work hard and were very helpful with anything you asked for. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come back again.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but, the walk back up to the apartment is quite hard, especially in the sun. I see it as burning off some calories I've built up during the day. If you can't be bothered with the walk, a taxi from the centre is €3-4. The views from this hotel are only there because of its location, you are not getting views like this from hotels lower down. The sunset going down over the horizon while sitting with a beer on the rooftop terrace is something special.

- view of the sea. we were on the lowest level so unfortunately not a great view but could still see the ocean. - clean - great shower / water pressure -

- the woman at the front desk wasn’t very accommodating. there were no kitchen towels so we asked for some and she just said “we only give the towels that you have already” and when i insisted she then begrudgingly said they’d put another one in the room. it was just a weird vibe - never had a hotel resist providing addition towels. - we were asked to pay when we had already paid on booking.com. she questioned this even after we said we paid already saying that was just a holding charge but then I was able to show proof and she changed her tune. I watched her do the same to another family checking in. I’m not a suspicious person but felt as though she could have easily checked if payment was made before asking for money?

The rooms were very spacious, well equipped with everything we would need. Balcony was big with amazing views. Staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were in at least every two days and very nice. For the price of the apartments I wasn't expecting anything near as good as we got. Can't fault anything and at more than half the price of where we usually stay and only a street along, I think we will definitely be heading straight back to miriam on our next visit.

For us I'm finding it hard to write anything about what we didn't like. It was ideal for our stay. Only thing I could possibly comment on was the layout might not be ideal for older people or people with limited accessibility. Again they probably have other options in these cases so would definitely ask. We were on the 5th floor.

Just home from a 2 week stay in Miriam apartments and couldn't fault it. Our room was located just above the pool with excellent views of the beach and surrounding areas. The pool bar has a happy hour every day from 12-1pm & 4-6pm and the food is tasty. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days. less than a 10 minute walk to the beach or commercial centre but would recommend getting a taxi back to the apartments as the hills are quite steep and a taxi is only 3.85 euro. Pool area is quiet and no issues getting a sun lounger. Staff will remove towels if left on loungers before 10am or if people leave down towels and head off for the day (rightly so).

Pool and pool bar closes quite early at 7.45 and the hotel could do with investing in more umbrellas, half of the umbrellas there were damaged or broken. Cleaning staff do a great job but could do with keeping the noise down in the mornings. Numerous mornings we were woken very early with the staff shouting/ talking really loudly at one another.

July 2024

Had a 5 night stay here at the end of June / start of July 2024. It was my first time visiting the Canaries and I was meeting family who were already staying in Puerto Rico. Concerned that my late arrival time would be an issue, especially as my flight ended up arriving 3.5 hours later than planned, I chose to take a taxi from the airport to Puerto Rico. It dropped me off outside the hotel, situated at the top of a hill, probably the highest vantage point in Puerto Rico, arriving at the property just after 11pm. The taxi cost just under 80€ (£70), which is fair given the distance from the airport (45 minutes’ drive). I found my room key in an envelope pegged to the shutters at reception, with a map of the hotel and instructions to find my room, which were invaluable as the hotel is like a maze, and a note requesting that I present myself at reception the next morning with my passport and to pay. I had asked for a room with a view, and the staff certainly delivered. Upon finding my room, on the very top floor of the hotel (6th floor), I audibly gasped when I looked out over the bay for the first time. Spectacular both at night and during the day, this alone is worth 10*. Definitely worth the journey in the lift and then the couple of flights of stairs. I was able to have a good night’s sleep every night due to the ventilation provided by opening the windows and doors, so for me the lack of air-con wasn’t an issue. Just make sure you close the curtains after the sun moves round, about mid-day, and then open all the windows and doors on an evening to enjoy the fresh gentle breeze off the sea. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower had good water pressure. I never needed to use the kitchen during my stay, but I made use of the fridge and cutlery provided. The WiFi worked fine, fast, reliable connection each of the 5 nights of my stay, streaming, video-calling and messaging.

Personally, I can’t fault anything. Everything was exactly as described and with the view from my apartment my stay was even better than anticipated

loved the view and most of the staff. the place had character

the two members of staff cooking breakfast. rude and disrespectful to their guests. my advice is if your staying do not have breakfast or any meal at the hotel restaurant. disgusting staff who will shout you down. the rest of the staff were nice.

My recent stay at Apartamentos Miriam in Mogán was truly delightful. The Wifi was of excellent quality, allowing me to stay connected throughout my entire stay. The check-in process was efficient and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was ideal, with beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend Apartamentos Miriam for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Gran Canaria. #ApartamentosMiriam #Mogán #GranCanaria

I liked the water was high pressure and hot water all the time, super hot actually. I liked the kitchen was having enough things to use it. I liked that 3 times the cleaners wanted to clean my room.

I didn't like that I had to get a sponge for kitchen and a shower gel. I got them but I wasn't expecting I was having to buy them. The wifi was a bit poor, disconnecting or internet interrupting every hour or so, because they are having probably ADSL internet not cable or fibre.
