Fabulous room sea view , everything about the place was lovely ,quite, breakfast lovely. And only a stroll down to the beach.

A suggestion would be the lifts in the complex only went to the restaurant where breakfast is served , there are a good few steps down to the gate where you exit to the beach not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties as we seen.

We stayed in room 707 which had a lovely view of the sea, the pool and the hotel. We decided to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary here as we came here in 2018 to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary and honeymoon. It was a nice touch that the hotel left Champagne in our room. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. There was alot of choice when it came to breakfast which was buffet style and we did have dinner on 2 nights as well, also with a good food selection. We also booked a couples massage with Fran and Lara. It was the best massage ever. All in all we had a lovely stay.

My husband would have liked a kettle in the room as he does love his morning tea but everything else was fine. One last note and I know that this is not a reflection of the hotel or staff as they were wonderful but as a women of colour (I am black ) even my husband who is white became very aware of the stares. I found it very uncomfortable to be stared at all of the time by the other guests. I tried to ignore it but it did get abit much at times, however that doesn't mean that I wouldn't stay at the hotel again.

Good size rooms. Great location. Quiet, a little walk away along the promenade from the main strip of restaurants. Lovely views out to sea, from the pool areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent food. Comfortable beds, great shower.

Really only one thing… needs better pillows. It’s rated as a 5 star hotel, prices are also 5*, but has 3 star pillows. Not feather so hypoallergenic, but lumpy/not good quality so not very comfortable.

The staff here were excellent. The place looks amazing and is very clean. The buffet selection was terrific and the service was wonderful You cannot fault the staff, they are what made this place amazing.

It is quite big so you can easily get lost with all the different routes so can be a bit overwhelming. All of us agreed that the pillows could do with replacing as they were quite lumpy.

- they made good on the long waiting at check-in with a welcoming drink in the lobby bar. - nice infinity pool with warm water and sea view, and terrace bar next to it to watch the sunset. - after arriving on bicycle, I appreciated the mineral water and chocolate in the room - friendly and helpful staff. After I had made a remark that the TV didn't work, they send a mechanic promptly.

- the bicycle storage doesn't have a bicycle pump (quite essential) but other tools are available (I was allowed to bring my bicycle to my room though). - the restaurant is big and crowded but has a lot of delicious food

The restaurant on our first night was awful (noisy, poor service,queing for hot meal) The Gaudi/Brasserie were closed or full, we nearly checked out next day but Kathleen on customer service desk saved the day in booking future nights in the Brasserie and Saudi.

Excellent for children. Pool facilities are great. Food is very good. Very clean hotel. All the staff are very pleasant, and made us very welcome. All round a very good family holiday. The surrounding area is good on the coastal side of the hotel. Plenty of mini-markets, and a proper Spanish supermarket 15 mins walk. The local beach is good, and the main beach with the waves is great. The coastal walk from the hotel to the main beach is very nice, and a superb way to walk off breakfast and build an appetite for lunch.

As with many locations, some of the surrounding areas (not on the coastal side of the hotel) are still being built, but generally, gran Canaria is warm

Good choice of food, especially breakfast. Attractive pools and gardens.

Take note that you are only eligible for a meal in one of the al a carte restaurants if you stay 7 nights. We stayed only 3 but did get 50% discount. The main restaurant is noisy but you can eat outside and there were heaters in the evenings. There was a 2 seater sofa and an armchair in the room which made if a little crowded.

The room was specially designed for passengers with dog. Exit hotel door near the room makes it easy to access the beach and street. Bedroom door which separates the hallway and bathroom from the bedroom, was very helpful. Every time our dog was alone in the room, we closed the door and left a note for the housekeeper not to open the door and only to clean the bathroom. The private terrace of the room and its green space were great. It's so nice to have a drink in Tropical bar on terrace while watching the sunset with our furry family member. Infinity pool and spa were very attractive.

What really bothered us was that it was very difficult to find clean plate or glass for juice in buffet. The plates and especially the juice glasses were often dirty and the smoothies and juices drunk before were still in them after washing. The furniture in room is very old fashion and simple.
