Extremely clean hostel, right on the Camino! Great shower facilities, and lockers for bag storage. Staff were fantastic and keen to help in any way they could. Fresh fitted sheet for the bed was provided, and staff even helped to put it on the mattress. Blankets were also available on request. However, no additional sheets were provided to use under the blanket but over your body. I would recommend bringing a sleeping bag. There are kitchen facilities, but very small. No hob, but there is an oven and glass dishes that can be used for the oven. Also plates, bowls, cutlery, etc available. Laundry facilities available too.

30-bed mixed dorm: Very strong construction of bunks with privacy curtain, own light and own power outlet. Top bunk is higher than usual bunks and this makes the bed areas spacious. The guy who checked us in kindly helped to make up a couple of the beds up on top (bottom sheet and pillow case provided. He also gave me a blanket). There are medium sized lockers in the room that you need €1 to lock (but when you return the key it refunds your euro), or you can use it without locking it. Seperate mens and women's bathrooms. Womens had 2 toilets, 3 showers and 2 hand basins. There was a washer and dryer (extra cost) and towels can be hired. Great location as the camino goes past the front door (when you first see the huge signage on the side of the building, go just past this around the corner and you'll see a sign saying reception). Bunkroom was quiet through the night. Kitchen had fridge and microwave and a vending machine. Wifi worked well.

There is no private dry space to change after getting out of shower (this is a common design through Spain). No lounge area but you can sit at the dining tables.

The place is just what you see on the website - clean, great shower, comfortable bed and excellent service at the reception. It was quite busy the night we stayed. After walking all day in the rain everybody turned up to albergue wet, cold and grumpy, but the guy at the reception was ready to help everyone in the way they needed. Im not sure how many languages he speaks, but he was fluent wit everyone who came in:) Great place and amazing service. Suggestion for the wet season- facility to dry shoes. They have this big cupboard for shoes outside sleeping rooms, so maybe it could be ventilated or something like that. But that is just suggestion, it is rear to have this sort of thing in any place. I know they are striving for perfections, hence that is a suggestion for improvement. Thanks.

Very well appointed hostel in excellent location.

Both I and my partner have hidden disabilities. With just three people in front of us, I explained we both needed bottom bunks. However, the proprietor was very unsupportive. Comparing us to everyone else who simply had a dislike of upper bunks. I had to insist for sometime before he eventually relented. In my view this proprietor does not understand the challenges faced by disabled people. He would benefit from a training and awareness programme if he is to offer a welcoming environment for everyone.

We chose this albergue for its location on the Camino and because it had private rooms. It was an excellent choice! The staff person was very helpful and kind. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. We thought it might be loud given that it was off the main communal room, but it actually was very quiet. I would recommend this albergue to anyone who wants to stay at an albergue, but still wants a private room and bath. Many thanks to the staff.

Simple, clean and well-run albergue right on the Camino. Great, thoughtful amenities: laundry, vending machines, spacious lockers (with in-built chargers!), beds with curtains & convenient night light, good showers & bathroom area (separated for men & women), lots space / benches for backpacks by the bunks, and spacious common area. Raul, the host/owner, is very kind (and efficient!) - he offered to help with the bedsheets and was thoughtful to ask if I needed a blanket. Towel available for rent upon request. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A big thanks to the staff IS Raúl at Albergue & Rooms Murgadán! I accidentally left my AirPod behind, and he was super helpful in getting it back to me. Really appreciated the quick response and effort. The staff here is so friendly, the place is very clean, and it's well-equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend staying here for the Camino – you'll be well taken care of! Thanks again!

Check in went smoothly. The place is very new and well maintained. Each bunk bed has a privacy curtain. The location is great, right on camino and in histrorical center with lots of restaurant options in the area. We never had to wait for shower or washroom. Large kitchen area that also serves has meeting place.

The washroom could use more space area (bench or shelf) to store cloths while taking shower. After washing your clothes, the cloths drying racks were definitly too small for the amount of people in the albergue.

The owner was super nice and helped us a lot. We did not have sleeping bags and it was a particularly cold night so he promplty provided us with blackets. The room was big but it was quite quiet during the night.

The price for using the washer and dryer was not explicit so we could not make it work. The next morning the host explained it to us and still helped us dry some clothes.

Great location and the private rooms are like hotel rooms. Very friendly host. Spotlessly clean and quite new.

Not in the control of the hostel but the other guests started at 5am and were very noisy, as our room backed onto the kitchen it woke us up and the noise continued right through to 7 when we planned to get up so our nights sleep was cut short.
