Dinner is really good.

the breakfast!!! the croissant were old of 10 years…it is not possible to offer this to the guests!!!! we were so happy to have our breakfast to start our second walking day of “Camino de Santiago” but really not nice… the espresso caffè it was the worst I have ever had in my life. It is so pity, because the evening before the 2 ladies serving at the table were so nice and great to prepare the espresso. the dinner also fantastic. In the morning there was a guy distracted: he took us the breakfast of an other room with meat and my husband doesn’t eat meat … after that guy was also pretty disappointed of his error with us…we didn’t appreciate this kind of behavior. we paid 7 euros for a not comestible croassaint and a not drinkable espresso.

While dated, Chaf Rivera is a perfectly serviceable hotel with comfortable beds and a camino friendly staff. Ive dined at the restaurant and its very good and priced reasonably. Is it Padron's best offering? No. It is, however a nice quiet hotel with a lovely bar and gracious hosts. Laundry is right next door for those Pilgrims looking to be cleaner on their last day's walk into Santiago.

Location was excellent, staff friendly and an added bonus was the onsite restaurant.

I ordered tapas for my evening meal but when camino friends walked in for dinner and directed to the back room where the restaurant was, I could not join them because tapas could not be served there. So, I had to eat alone out front.That was a bummer but otherwise, everything was good.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in. Great beautiful room, comfy bed, clean sheets, clean bathroom. Not far from the camino portugues (5 min and you're back on track).

Some guests made a lot of noise at 5 am while leaving, but that's hardly the hotel's fault. No water boiler/coffee in the room.

Wonderful place with a friendly and helpful staff. A good value and easy to find despite being a bit off the Camino.

Wish we could have tried the adjoining restaurant but they close on Sunday nights.

Staff were helpful. Had a substantial dinner in the connected restaurant which was very convenient. Room was clean and reasonably spacious.

The rooms are a little dated, although comfortable, and the view is of buildings across the street.

My stay was short, just one night. I was hiking the Camino Portuguese and the hotel was very convenient just off the trail. Check in was simple and quick and the staff were excellent. Ate in the restaurant and highly recommend it. Overall great experience

The room was very confortable and nicely furnished and the position central in the town. We received information about the town important things to visit and even if the restaurant was closed he were able to buy a bottle of water ...

The room was fine and the host was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. My wife is a GF vegetarian and was looked after really well by the staff. We would love to return and would have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.

Very nice and helpful receptionist. Attached restaurant also has friendly staff. Room was small but adequate and clean. Great shower.
