Hotel is in quite area, 15 min from centrum by walk. Hotel is on the hill, but young people can do it by walk. Our 3 years old son manage it too. 2 beaches are realy close, less people than main beach. Wide bed, really wide, comfort sleep for 2 adults and 1 toddler. Bathrooms looks new, after reconstruction. Big balcony. Food was good, every day was something new for dinner, lots of fish. Breakfast was almost the same everyday, but wide range. Friendly staff.

Very few fresh vegetable for breakfast. Some recepcionist do not have good english.

Rooms were big, nice balcony, cleaned with fresh towels each day. Pool area good, drinks and food were reasonable by the pool. Short walk to shops/bars. Also lovely cove beach close by easily walked to from hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.

There wasn't anything I didn't enjoy, if im honest, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it. It's a basic family hotel but has very good value. The only thing is check-in is 4pm. We arrived early around 11, and if we never had family, we would have been stuck til 4pm before we got our room. Also, if you struggle with hills, etc, then I wouldn't recommend it because it is up a hill, and you have to walk down the hill to get to places. 7€ if you want to get a taxi. We walked along the front beach walkway from the hotel, but on the way back, we got a taxi back

Room was bright, large in size with an equally large balcony equipped with sun loungers and table and chairs. Good kitchen area( not used) and large shower room with separate toilet room. Food( breakfast and dinner buffet) whilst not outstanding was more than adequate and for the price paid was very good. Located on top of a hill giving great views from the balcony and a short walk down flights of steps to a small pleasant beach. Children and myself enjoyed the uncrowded pool- which is very deep at one end- although at busier times it might prove to be crowded as it isn't by any means the biggest. I was there end of August 2023 after English bank holiday and this was not the case. In a quieter area of Salou but still an easy walk to the main strip and front. Bus stops just around the corner and own parking underneath the apartment building. Having stopped there after a stay in a far more expensive hotel in the town and another set of apartments I and my the children were very pleased with the food and accommodation provided and would definitely stay there again of the three.

An older building which could do with some modification and the shower tray in the room was distorted causing water to leak onto the floor. This did not really affect my enjoyment of the stay and I did not expect luxury at their keen price point.

The lady at reception was wonderful despite being in sole charge and run off her feet. The facilities were excellent. Gym, pool, bar, library, luggage store, car park. Breakfast was really ace too. The rooms.with a view over the bay to Salou are gorgeous. 15 walk to Salou but only 5 to the small beach nearby. We had an amazing time.

That the poor lady at reception was totally overworked at check in time. Antiquated manual printing of everything meant the queue took 45 mins almost. So if guests had questions or needed info they had to interrupt the queue and we felt so bad for the lady. Get better systems or hire more people.

Almost everything. It's our second time visiting these apartments, and we'd definitely come back again. We didn't eat in the hotel, so we've no idea what that's like, but the bartender makes a lovely Mojito. We like our room, the view is great and the lovely maids do a great job of the rooms. All of the staff are lovely actually. Great location, and for the price it was perfect for us. Easy walk to both of the closest beaches, Cap Salou and the main strip. We really like this place and would definitely come back.

Check in could be quicker. We were demented by the time we got checked in after a long day's travelling. Check in was nowhere near as slow last year so no idea what's going on. Check out was a lot faster

Good location about 10 min walk from Salou centre with local bars, shops and supermarkets within a few min walk. Is up a hill, not too steep but long, so could be difficult for some. Very near bus stops for local towns Reus, Cambrils, La Pineda, Tarragona and both Reus and Barcelona Airports 2 bedroom apartment was very clean, and had lots of space and storage. Shower gel and plenty of towels (changed daily if required). Enough utensils in kitchen to make basic meals, combi microwave (but no instruction how to use), big fridge /freezer, kettle, toaster ( bread goes on the outside of the toaster which was definitely different but worked well!), washing up liquid and pot scourer sponge. View from our 5 floor room balcony was amazing. Could have sat their all day as there was a table and chairs plus 2 really comfy sun loungers. Lots of fast lifts including one for those with disabilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was small but sufficient. Very clean. (Bigger terrace area away from pool if you wanted quieter area) Different sunbeds for lying down and chair type for sitting up. Mats for them kept in box at the side. Children's playpark and large artificial grass area where wee ones could run about freely and safely, and not bother anyone Gym clean and well equipped for a holiday exercise session. Food at breakfast was lovely, lots of choice from continental meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts, cooked breakfast, pancakes, omelettes, breads and pastries. Great book swap library with books sorted into different languages.

Need better sun parasols at pool. All were broken and wouldn't stay open so very little shade. Not allowed to take drinks in glass out of bar area even to your room, had to take in a plastic cup. Breakfast time was 8-10am but they would not facilitate an early breakfast at 7.50am on our day of departure when we were getting picked up at 8am. No safe in room but security vault in reception was safe but just a bit inconvenient. No day time activities or evening entertainment but in Salou it's absolutely fine to go into lots of other hotels to use their pool or join activities and watch entertainment as long as you buy a drink from their bar. (We went to 4R Play Park across the road and Best Oasis 5 mins walk away).

We loved our stay at Albatros! The studio with the sea view was super comfortable, big beds, all the things you might need for your stay. The balcony's huge and has a great view. We also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and every day it was really good. I liked the quiet atmosphere, no loud music or karaoke :)

We got the keys to the room a bit later than 4pm, but on the whole it didn't spoil the impression.

The location was a 10 min walk to a main stretch of bars and restaurants. 5 min walk to good supermarkets. A small cove beach within 2 min walk, another small beach within 5 min walk and the main Salou beach 15 mins walk. We were happy to be a little further out of the noise and busy area of the main Salou resort. Hotel staff amazing. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Very clean throughout the hotel and pool area. Room was spacious and the sofa bed was a double bed when made up and easily kept as 2 singles which is how we did it for two 11 year olds. The two beds which we thought were going to be singles were actually small double’s so plenty of room. Couldn’t be happier and would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I can critique is the security bond in the small print. It says 200 euros if you’re self catering to be paid in cash. They did allow a couple to pay by card which is better but they weren’t expecting that. We didn’t have to pay this as we had breakfast included in our stay. One more thing, nothing to do with the hotel. A small supermarket is right opposite the hotel and he told us the first night he was the only supermarket at this end. Don’t be fooled, there’s 2 more within 5 min walk, much more stock and cheaper. Friendly man but naughty!

Nice clean hotel. rooms were great for 2 but would be a squeeze for 4. Beds were very comfortable. Bar & snacks were tip top. 20 minute walk round beach into Salou centre quicker if you go round the streets. Cheap for taxis back. 7-8 euro.

Check in is 4.00 pm but we arrived from early flight at noon. Long time hanging about without getting swimming stuff on.

Quiet location - Spacious 2 bedroom apartment - Separate kitchen with everything needed including full size Fridge/Freezer Large balcony with Sea view. Good air conditioning , powerful shower and large bathroom. Daily maid service and fresh towels etc. nice pool area with gravity sun loungers and artificial grass on all surfaces . The property looked old outside but obviously had been renovated to a nice modern style inside, it was immaculately clean and we had no issues with any services , keycards, lifts, door access etc all in good order. Very welcoming staff, chilled and friendly throughout our stay. Beautiful small beach just across the road away from main busy strip

We booked self catering and this was very. well provided for however on the couple of occasions we ate at the hotel it was below par. Had the €14 Buffet dinner our first night , fresh bread , fruit and salad selection were good and plentiful but hot food was lukewarm and not very appetising. Meat in Beef curry appeared to be stewing steak with quite a lot of fatty pieces. Bar food Patatas Bravas basically were overcooked dry Wedges , not the usual cubed potatoes, sauce was a generic BBQ sauce . A pity in an otherwise good property. A bit of effort to improve food standards would make a big difference. The apartments are at the top of a steep short hill which may not suit everyone. l would still rebook these apartments as we did enjoy our stay.
