The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to the centre but not noisy, with a few cafes nearby. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing a small street with oranges ahead and the view was stunning. The room is big enough, with enough space for suitcases and other personal belongings which I greatly appreciate. Air conditioning was working properly (which is a plus for Seville's heat). Reception is working 24h.

The bathroom needs renovation and the shower was not really a shower - it is impossible to wash your hair with that water pressure (not sure if the shower itself or the pressure was the issue). But for 2-3 days it's okay. There was no fridge in the room which was a disappointment, however, the staff is so friendly so that you can ask them to leave food in the restaurant's fridge near reception.

Hotel Madrid is a gem in Seville. Great location. Super calm and quiet area but near everything one wants to visit and there are many places nearby to eat and drink, so at night it is very convenient to go out for a night cap, for example. The room, good size for a city visit, was super clean, the heating worked to perfection as did the shower. Very comfortable bed. Great Wi-Fi. Common areas were clean and heated. Nice art work on the walls. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We loved the way breakfast was served - with a smile! Nice small hotel. Loved it.

No negatives, all positives.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They can book trips and events for you directly. Very clean and tidy, housekeeping came in every day. Breakfast is continental but you are served personally with it. Good choice too. Good location in the historic part of the city. Very close to all the main attractions etc but also to the Bus station as well, which is a very cheap way of getting from the airport to the city itself. Restaurants on the west bank are very reasonable and easy to get to from the hotel. Two good Tapas bars close, by particularly Donalds. We would book here again.

Unfortunately, there was some work being done laying new flooring, which was started before 8 am in the morning, on our floor. Apart from that nothing.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, within walking distance of the main tourist sites and near restaurants and bars (I particularly recommend Barrabas near the Belles Artes Museum for truly excellent tapas). It was good value for money and I would stay again.

Despite being on a quiet street, the walls were thin and it was rather noisy.

Clean and luminous bedrooms equipped with a spacious and also clean bathroom. Centrally located next to the central bus station (Plaza de Armas) so mostly all Seville’s places of interests are walkable from the hotel. All the staff was friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage in the cloakroom for free.

Beds weren’t hard enough but this is just a personal preference as I rather sleep in harder mattresses than in soft ones.

I really liked the reception staff and the fact there was always someone around. They were happy to say hi and bye, as well as assist with other things like a bag drop. The room was modern and clean and I felt comfortable and importantly, quite safe here!

Sound travels through the walls so take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper

Comfortable beds. Very clean. Location perfect. Breakfast very pleasant not too much just right, good value. Breakfast lady was wonderful happy lady very helpful and attentive nothing too much trouble. Menu was in English. Pretty cool art displayed.

Parking was a bit of a trek but not a bad deal at $17 for 24hrs for parking in a city is always difficult.

Cute little hotel, wonderful location so you can walk to pretty much every single site, of you come early leave your bags and go for a walk, we went to green market to eat some local food. Room was nice, beds were comfortable, bathroom very good, sometimes you need to wait for hot water but that's ok, A/C , TV. Staff was great Alberto specially he helped us a lot with advices especially because of taxi strike. Breakfast was very good and we checked out early but bags with food was packed and they were delicious.

The room and the bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable. The area surrounding the hotel was not noisy, but also not that far from the touristic center (about 5-10 minutes walking).

Staff was friendly, but we had a bad experience when leaving. One of us went to pick the car from the parking and while the other waited inside the hotel, the receptionist asked what was she doing there, in a very suspect way. We literally made the check out about 5 minutes before with that recepcionist.

1) Highly accessible. Most of the tourist spots are in walking distance which is enjoyable 2) Loads of lovely eatery choices and grocery stores in the neighbourhood. Can’t get any more convenience than that 3) Wonderful staff who are always helpful

The only thing I wanna complain is the fixing job undergoing upstairs over my stay - no matter it’s evening/ day time. Very annoying as I wanna take a nap in between my itinerary.
