the rooms were amazing. the shower and balcony area we very nice and the bed and pillows were very comfy. the pool area was really nice and the staff were very helpful.

the hotel took €300 out of my bank account to cover future costs (minibar etc) on top of the amount we paid for the hotel when we arrived. we didn’t use any of the €300 taken and upon checking out we were told the transaction had been cancelled and we would receive the funds back however, 5 days on we are yet to receive the money back. the hotel should review this and it will make us think twice about coming back.

Nice design, clean rooms, big comfy bed. Perfect location, beachfront. Good pool and very nice beach towels. The breakfast choices were plenty but had to walk along the whole long room to get all the stuff I needed for the breakfast. Would be nicer just to concentrate everything in one place.

For this type of hotel I was expected a well trained staff. You really had to go and find the staff yourself to make order at the pool. Also, some food didn’t arrive. I would recommend managers to make sure the staff is professionally trained and welcoming. Sometimes you had a feeling you bother them just when making a simple request..

The ambiance of the hotel, the facilities (pool etc.) and Beso were amazing. Rooms are very comfortable, very clean and quiet. We will definitely come back again!

I really liked the location of the hotel because of the beautiful and quiet neighbourhood (please bear in mind that you need to walk about 2.5 km to the town center where the restaurants / bars are). There is a cute touristic train that takes you from the hotel to the end of the promenade where you can start your walk through the town center. Also, the sea view from the Beso terrace at the groundfloor of the hotel is super nice. The concierge and reception staff was very helpful!

We had a standard double room with the shower cabin 25cm away from the bed which was uncomfortable to say the least. Also, I am not a fan of toilet seats placed inside small tight rooms, separate from the shower and sink. Actually I completely disliked the way the bathroom is organised, with little consideration for comfort and intimacy, especially if you are not traveling as a couple. Breakfast could be improved with high quality fruits and vegetables. For example, the fruits at the buffet looked good, but were almost nonedible.

They claim to be a 5 star, that's no correct, if you expect a good 4 star you're spot on. They charge 20 eur per day for parking, and the car came back super dirty from what I guess surrounding trees?! anyway, 20 eur per day for parking is overdoing it. There is a lot of hidden charges at this hotel. Again, 5 star hotel that charges 20 eur per day for the sun beds at the beach, not ok. Also on all photos there are very nice beds at the pool, they just forget to mention those beds are 130 eur per day. The simple sunbeds by the pool are free but both sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool needs fixing, broken legs etc.

Everything! It was just my husband and I. We spent the extra for the sea view and it was completely worth it! The place and the area was clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

We never went to the hotels restaurants, but we did do the bar downstairs, the staff wasn't the greatest. We were ignored for almost 25-30min before I finally got someones attention to take our drink order after two other group of people showed up sometime after us got their orders and was instantly served drinks and food.

Our dog costs 50€/per night,actually it should be charged 70€/per night.and we can not get any price information in advance on Booking. com. It is written we adore pet by hotel email,but we really could not feel something.

Staff at rooftop bar not really interested in providing table service and although this cannot be proved the Carlos 1 brandy tasted like no other Carlos 1 that I have ever had, suspicions that it was not Carlos 1 in the bottle? Breakfast was chaos. Individuals sitting at tables for 4 and 6. People should be seated by the staff to ensure a table for 4 is not just occupied by 2 or 1 people and the layout of food should also be looked at to see if a better flow can be achieved.

Very professional staff, welcome drink when we arrived, carried in our luggage and parked the car, gave us the option to upgrade to better room. The room is very clean, modern and comfy. Very solution oriented staff and their attitude was very professional, you really feel like a guest the moment you arrive there. A staff member also explained the breakfast and asked if we wanted anything extra.very helpful and makes it more easy for the guest. The Melia way is how a five star hotel should be. They also explained and where active on helping and answering questions before we asked them.
