Bordoy Continental Valldemossa

Huge room, very clean and super staff. We loved the location and being away from the busy town. Ramona on the front desk was super helpful and very welcoming. We had dinner at the hotel and thought it was very good and great value for money. Breakfast was wide and varied and included a call up omelette bar which was great.

Perhaps keeping the pool bar open in October would be good on good weather days as the pool is down through the gardens and away from the hotel. Dinner is much more geared to eating in the restaurant and you're not really encouraged to be out on the terrace. Minor things against the whole experience though. We thought it was really good and exceptional value for money.

The room was a great size, the bed was very comfortable, bathroom huge and quality finish on everything. The views were amazing. Overall the hotel was fabulous, beautiful location, the pool was lovely.

Disappointed to not have had a higher floor room as the sunset view was obstructed by the trees. Also the mini fridge was tiny so unable to store any larger water bottles in it so therefore had to buy the smaller bottles already in the fridge. The chlorine in the pool was very high and actually discoloured of 2 of my daughters swim suits. Another guests little girl had a tinge of green to them off the chlorine which is certainly not ideal.

We had a wonderful time! The view from our room was outstanding, everything was clean, the pool had a beautiful outlook and we had great eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast every morning

The gym opened very late in the morning, it would be good to open around 6 so you can carry on with the day.

The hotel staff were lovely and because my check in time was slightly delayed, I was upgraded to the mini suite, which was spacious, beautifully appointed, with clean lines and relaxing colors and the most amazing view. The bathroom was modern, big and included every amenity from the make up mirror, well placed at the appropriate height, a working towel warmer, and nice big shower area. The temperature in the room was nice and cool, the mattress was super comfortable and I slept better than I have ever slept. The hotel has a nice pool and is right across from one of my favorite hikes in Valldemossa, which actually takes you all the way into the town. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, which was a great convenience since I did not have a car and depended on taxis or buses.

The food in the restaurant was not good, they told me that they are aware and are working to improve that aspect

The view was amazing. We woke up every day to the view of the ocean. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. Anything we needed, they did their best. The location is excellent if you want to explore the mountains and you can get anywhere within an hour. Loved the bathroom, the robes and the toiletries. The room was like a showroom.

I would only suggest that they put rubber tips on the terrace chairs, as anytime anyone in the hotel moved their chair on their balcony, you could hear it. But I'm really reaching there. The whole thing was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Booked a junior suite. It was spacious and airy with a stunning sea view. The bed was large and comfortable. The whole place was spotlessly clean. It was lovely to sit on the terrace at breakfast with a view of the sea and a little family of goats. There was ample free parking. The pool area is lovely with a view of hills in the background. It is not heated so a little chilly in May but would be delightful later in the year I imagine. The gym is small but perfectly fine.

The food offering doesn’t match the quality of the hotel especially at dinner. It is too far to walk to Valldemossa and the bus is infrequent. We would have preferred to eat in the hotel rather than drive to dinner every night. Having tried it the first night we didn’t eat in the restaurant again. For breakfast I think it depends what you like - there is a huge amount of variety and they try to cater to everyone. I would prefer a smaller selection of better quality items, with an option to pay for a decent cup of coffee. I would advise not to prepay for the breakfast as it is no cheaper (15 euro per person either way) and make your mind up once you are there.

we did not find it very welcoming. Kitchen closing at 9 in the evening, no room service and not even the right to order something you can bring on your terrace or balcony… Drinking water you must buy while the hotels around the world try to supply filtered water to their customers. The breakfast is extra 30€ for 2 each day. the jacuzzi is not warm.. No wifi if you arrive before 2pm. Even at the bar, no one would even try to arrange a temporary connection for you while there is no network to call or 3/4 or 4g to be able to communicate.

The room selected was spacious having a marvelous hills and sea view. There is a quite large garden to walk, with a pool, sunbeds, pond with fishes. Bed was comfortable, quality sheets and most of all very clean including the bathroom. The room is cleaned daily, towels changed at request. It is easier to reach the hotel by car, even though the bus stop is just across the street. Valldemossa is just a few km away. Other locations can be easily reached by car - Palma and Soller around 35min.

The breakfast has to be more variated, for a longer stay it gets difficult to rotate and hard to find combinations. The sweet corner could include more tasty selections. I missed the slippers.

Plain, elegant comfort. A fine grand piano (well-tuned) for guests to play. Big, cool swimming pool under pines. Very kind and efficient front desk staff. Very thoughtful bar and restaurant staff. Amazing views and light. We were there in early June so there were no school-age children, and our stay was largely very peaceful.

The soundproofing was imperfect in our (otherwise beautiful) room. A strange sound of furniture being dragged over rough floors every night. Also, when the diners on the terrace get lit up their voices carry clearly up to the rooms. So quiet was sometimes an issue, though not ruinous.
