Good location, comfortable rooms, helpful staff. The pool was great and being on the beach was a bonus. The hotel put on a great gala evening for NewYear.

It was a pity that there were big waves and an undercurrent so swimming in the sea was not possible. The food in the poolside bar was disappointing.

What makes our experience in new country memorable? Nature? Food? People ! We had fantastic time in Club Hotel Dolphin! The ocean, sunsets and sunrises, away from the crowds and hotel STAFF ! The friendliest, warm-hearted and sincere people I’ve met. Massage therapists are great! Love Balinese massage technique. Try it once you are there! Dolphin resort had impeccable service and support from the staff, who were alwyas courteous and ready to help at all times. The food service had a good variety and all the flavors were on point. The facilities were great and up to date, prompting a wonderful stay. I’d recommend this resort to everyone who would like to enjoy beautiful Sri Lankan beach and weather in a comfortable resort, and reach utmost relaxation. No sand flies like in Malaysia Thank you guys very much for your hospitality! We will be back soon!❤️❤️❤️

This hotel was such an amazing discovery!!! It made our first visit to Sri Lanka so much memorable!!! The location is great, it’s right by the ocean, has amazing facilities like huge pool, spa, gym, even a theatre where we had pleasure to watch some funny performances in weekend) The stuff was the most loveliest, friendliest and attentive I’ve ever met, we were feeling so welcomed, it was our home for 10 days Looking forward to coming back next year!!!

The location was amazing. Staff was friendly. They put me in the chalets in the western section, very comfortable and facing the ocean, but the rooms were old and in need of renovation. The opposite section was modern and beautiful rooms, but crowded and noisy. I'm very happy with my room.

Rooms need renovation. Dogs everywhere. Staff did not speak English well. They let us wear wristbands to sort the guests according to the meals, I guess, and I don't think it's a good idea at all.

Club Hotel Dolphin gave us the best get away we have ever had. The hotel is even better than the pictures, it’s open plan style that leads onto the beach is stunning. The staff were amazing, from kitchen to bar to animation team. I couldn’t fault anyone. Food and drink also excellent. The best Sri Lankan omelettes for breakfast!

Location wasnt the best but thats not the hotel fault Food on buffet was always spicy and that's the nature of the food in srilanka but they need to make people aware that this dish is spicy and also have other selection of food as most of the guest are foreigners But still the food was good

Excellent location in Waikkal near the beach. Delicious breakfast buffet and outstanding diner buffet. Best dessert buffet in whole Sri Lanka. Really nice and very large swimming pool. Great rooms with superb ocean view. Excellent stay!

On our arrival there was a small issue with the number of pax in our reserveration. We made a reservation for 5 persons but it seemed that Booking only announced 4 persons (our 10 year old son was apparently not announced to the reservation desk). However, the issue was quickly solved, thanks to the fast and flexible approach of the very hospitable staff.
